Game changing tool for Finance and People teams. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022 **What do you like best about TruePlan?** The ability to align and manage current headcount, approved hires and recruiting activity in an actual tool and in a cohesive manner (vs. having 25 different spreadsheets floating around the company). Most people don't realize that even mature companies (such as an Uber) do not have a simple way to track current headcount against approved headcount and compare against actual recruiting progress. Often times these companies have 20-30 spreadsheets floating around every part of the company, none of which actually tie to each other or the actual plan approved by Finance. This tool is a magic bullet that will be a staple in the tech industry in the near future. **What do you dislike about TruePlan?** Honestly, not much to complain about. The company is new, so there are obviously some features that do not currently exist (since they haven't built it into the tool yet), but they are extremely receptive to customer feedback, and more importantly are run by a team of former leaders at major startups in the valley (LinkedIn, Airbnb, Flexport, etc.). The UI also has come a long way, but still isn't perfect. Again, they are relatively new and are improving the product at an incredible rate. The functionality and overall experience of the tool is far beyond the level it needs to be in order to deliver value. Really impressed with this company and excited to be a long term customer! **What problems is TruePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?** See my previous responses, but ultimately TruePlan solves the inexplicable amount of time company leaders spend reconciling their headcount in spreadsheets with recruiting and finance (how many heads they currently have vs. how many are approved vs. how many are actually being worked on by recruiting. Seemingly basic information that no company or tool has effectively pulled together in a live manner until now! ### 2. Their dashboards are easy to use and navigate. Our Recruiters know exactly what roles are available for which department and when. We are able to utilize TruePlan to demonstrate to leaders what is available and what isn't. **What do you dislike about TruePlan?** The one thing TruePlan doesn't currently feature is the band/ranges for our Recruiters to view when they've been assigned a role. There are workarounds but I would love to see this on the product roadmap sooner rather than later! **What problems is TruePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using TruePlan to help solve for headcount distribution and tracking. In the past, we used excel spreadsheets that were confusing and difficult to follow.
