They customized their demo to show that it would work for our business. The implementation team was very kind and understanding with our limited knowledge of EDI and patiently walked through the each aspect of how EDI works. Something was missed during the go-live process which was not noticed until after the post go-live period was over. The implementation took responsibility and was able to fix it quickly (rather then having to go through customer support). Customer support has been quick to respond to our small issues that we have had so far (additional fields required on the 810, etc.) **What do you dislike about TrueCommerce EDI?** We currently use TrueCommerce on a small scale so we haven't had a lot of experience with it. So we currently have no complaints and would recommend TrueCommerce to others. **What problems is TrueCommerce EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were required by various buying groups to use EDI otherwise they would take a percentage off each invoice. However, using EDI also means that we know invoices are received and entered in our customer's software. This in reduces AR collection risk. ### 5. These are all clearly reviewed with the client at the beginning of the project. It would have been exteemely helpful if a more formal personalized training on the basics of the product would have be conducted. It would have saved us a lot of time on our side. **What problems is TrueCommerce EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?** TrueCommerce is handling all of our EDI requirements. It integrates well with our Microsoft Business Central. The app is flexible and the team at TrueCommerce are very knowledgeable in providing a solution. For example, we have a TP that sends in 850's, which normally creates a sales order in our ERP. In this case, we wanted a transfer order created. TrueCommerce accommodated this requirement. ### 9. Some of the outsourced support are not as knowledgeable and have actually made changes to the incorrect information and system issues became worse. **Recommendations to others considering TrueCommerce EDI:** Ease of use is amazing and customer service is on top of their game. When we had a few hiccups, customer support is easy to reach and typically do their best to remedy the situation. The only reason I don't give 10 stars is because this is more suited for a smaller company and our company is beginning to outgrow the use of the program. But it has been wonderful for getting our UCC's connected to netsuite after our transition to that program. **What do you dislike about TrueCommerce EDI?** The hiccups we have, though customer service was promt to help, have not been solved entirely to this day. Techs will teach you if you want to know how to setup trading partners on your own. - Update - We had a really good experience when we first integrated with TrueComm in 2017, but the service level and knowledge of technicans decreased over time. We eventually switched away from them. **What do you dislike about TrueCommerce EDI?** Would be nice to work with one tech for your account, not be assigned a new one each time you need assistance. Feels like you are starting from scratch with a new tech. - Update - Sales/Account managers are hard to get ahold of and didn't seem concerned about our issues. Huge bottleneck of data flow from ERP (Dynamics GP) to TrueCommerce, and they could not provide a real solution. Calling tech support was scary, as no knowledgable techs that knew Gentran was on staff. They may have since sunsetted that solution as well. We eventually switched to a new EDI provider and couldn't be happier. **What problems is TrueCommerce EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?** In house EDI, no longer paying ridiculous per transaction fees. Integration into Dynamics GP is customizable per trading partner, instead of months of waiting for EDI partner to figure out how to integrate. ### 25.
