Trisul Network Analytics is a deep network traffic and security analytics solution which helps organizations gain real time insights and conduct historical investigations into their network. Trisul watches live network traffic, Netflow telemetry, logs, or any mix of these to continuously extract, correlate,and profile hundreds of metrics across different layers. It also reconstructs flows, pulls out meta information such as TLS certs, DNS records, files, intrusion detection alerts, and compares all of your traffic with known threats. Trisul intelligently indexes and stores even the packets you might need to close a future investigation. Over time, Trisul's machine learning kicks in as it builds model bands of these metrics and can alert you when these fall out of bounds. An open and publicly documented API enables our community to create and share new analytics plugins called Trisul APPs. Trisul network analytics application is a distinctive application for visibility into security alerts, traffic flow on websites, and malware activities. It also provides services for network monitoring. It has some features for network monitoring like a dashboard in which users can see all the activities and can monitor IP addresses. It also has a unique feature like network resource management and it is a perfect application to manage deep website traffics and it is also used for the analysis of securities and net flow telemetry. I can track each and everything on the websites and as it is a cloud-based application for identifying network flows on the websites so give me access to websites from any device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Trisul Network Analytics? Trisul network analytics is not available for, MAC, and mobile devices (Android and iPhones). It does not have all the features for network monitoring like it does not has bandwidth monitoring, network diagnosis, internet usage monitoring, and SLA monitoring. My overall experience with this application is not too good because it does not provide all services for network monitoring. I recommend that its developers have to make it available for mobile devices and desktops so that users can use it easily. With Trisul NA you can fully analyze activities passing through your network, no matter whether wireless or wired because Trisul proble usually listen (with minimal configuration required) on core or distribution switches with monitor port enabled (all managed switches have this feature) capturing all the frames and packets usually sent out from the configured interface, GUI is also very powerful and you can fully customize it to obtain dashboards, metrics and graphs with relevant information that you need or prefer. The data retention profile on free version of Trisul is limited to 3 days, is not a good choice from the developers because you usually install it to provide long-range reporting and you need to test it on long timeslots before buying a subscription or an activation key. Recommendations to others considering Trisul Network Analytics: Invest some time in creating a dashboard that fit your needs with correct use of filter and rulesets to obtain data you really want, this can save you a lot of time usually spent in repeat same search with same filters everyday. With Trisul I can explore traffic flows in real time mode and in historical mode to easily identify network hoggers, malicious activity from/to our LAN or P2P, streaming and torrent unauthorized activity with full access to packet capture and graphs that easily describe flow direction, statistic and recursive connection to specified resources, hosts or IP.
