The low poly/smart mesh feature is pretty good to make low poly/ ps2 style assets (limit the poly count to something between 4 and 8 thousand and you're good to go). Exporting is limited, but the blender bridge saves a lot of time with dumb import issues because of scale or format quirks. The processing is fast for my standards (because i'm not in a hurry), but if you want to make anything in bulk, it will take some hours. For pricing, the starter pack is 100% worth it (gives a lot of features for a fraction of price of meshy). The biggest point of attention is to keep an eye on your token consumption. Making models is a funny activity in itself and you can end up burning hundreds of tokens just "out of curiosity" or with a bad input.
