## Tripleseat Reviews
  ### 1. Tripleseat is great and very customizable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like that there are tons of customizable options for creating forms and logging event details! We add new drop downs and content templates almost daily. This is really helpful for expediting our planning processes and tracking clients.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I dislike that our clients often have a hard time receiving our tripleseat discussions because they are either confusing or go directly to spam. I don’t know if this is a tripleseat issue or our clients have certain content blockers, but it’s an issue we run into quite frequently.

Also, contacts and accounts are often very confusing and i think there are ways to make those processes easier and simpler.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tripleseat allows us to capture all incoming events, plan those events with banquet orders and keep an organized calendar

  ### 2. Triplesheet for Conference Center Mangers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberson . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

That the team is very responsive and the reporting section is very thorough.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I do not believe it’s made well for conference/event spaces, it’s more user friendly for the restaurant industry as many of the features and tabs are not needed and there are several features that are needed that aren’t available or you need a upgrade to utilize it.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The email featured that keeps all the email correspondence in one place.

  ### 3. Please add recurring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It solves a lot of the business needs for my company

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

My biggest ask is to make recurring events easier. If an event happens every Tuesday it would make my life easier to be able to do that automatically like you can on outlook, rather than having to put it in manually.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud based makes it so that everyone can be on the same page about events

  ### 4. Customer service is not as helpful after you sign on with them.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The software is fairly easy to use and learn.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The price of service has been going up 5% each year for the past 3 years. They used to help with updating our documents, but now they are not so helpful after being with them for almost 7 years.

They try their hardest not to update the documents that you use to create contracts. They want you to do it yourself. If you want them to update the contract then you have to pay $125/hour for their "Professional Service Reps" to update it for you or you can wait over two weeks for them to do it at no extra charge.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their CRM is very helpful to keep track of clients, events, payments, and electronic documents.

  ### 5. Tripleseat Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Museums and Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Event profiles automatically updating with any changes is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Cannot connect with Tessitura which is our accounting system.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of event details being on many different documents and programs, we are able to have them all live on Tripleseat.

  ### 6. Great, user-friendly product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill N. | Director of Sales and Events, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It's easy to use, opnce it's set up. For someone looking to organize and manage events, it's great.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Tripleseat pay is challenging to use. Sometimes it works, many times it doesn't. Also, set up and changing your set up is challenging.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping events organized, BEOs, contracting and other documents.

  ### 7. Effective tool for event planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Tripleseat has done wonders for our organization as a company managing multiple event spaces across 6 different locations. We have been able to streamline our communication, convert leads quickly and as a result, increase our sales! Our Account Manager, Carlene, has been incredibly responsive and supportive. The onboarding team is also incredibly quick and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

While Tripleseat is great for increasing organization and efficiency, it is lacking features that would make it much more effective in the restaurant event space. The QR code payment feature does not share a functional breakdown that would allow a user to add charges, match with a POS or other receipt, and process payment on the fly. The software would need to be developed further for this tool to be effective in practice. Similarly, there is no integration available with a POS system such as Micros or Squirrel, which would be incredibly helpful!

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tripleseat ultimately allows us to centralize event planning for multiple venus in a department. It shortens the lead conversion process by integrating with our booking software and minimizes mistakes by live updating across the platform. Tripleseat also solves the issue of comprehensive sales reporting.

  ### 8. Tripleseat has been a pool to help manage and organize events as well as leads and accounts.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie O. | Private Events Director, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Events, accounts, contacts, leads-all in one place to keep organized, update event details, and manage contacts. Gather has helped us to elevate the client experience by consolidating a contract, details sheet, and payment form into a cohesive space.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The user address from where the communication comes from can be confusing to clients and sometimes get sorted to Spam. Our company uses Gather in multiple cities and would be helpful if the accounts and contacts were sorted in a way that could be easily identified and exported with the correlated city.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Takes time to teach our clients that there is a new system in place that includes their event details and contract.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, one place to store all information is the greatest benefit of the software.

  ### 9. Tripleseat manages our calendar, sales effort & internal documents well, despite certain limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristi O. | Catering Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Helps me stay organized and on top of leads.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Tripleseat could be better at incorporating/using word processing and reports.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing and responding to inquiries & leads.

  ### 10. Likely most useful for service/catering business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Museums and Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

My favorite ability is the calendar feature which includes details such as expected guest count, location of the event so as to prevent double booking of a location, who the points of contact are, and (if applicable), menu, billing, payment, and so much more. It is all-encompassing in that manner. I like the ability to tag contacts directly within notes, and it sends that contact an email with the content that needs to go to them.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The contact feature is a little discombobulated. I ended up accidentally creating multiple contacts of the same person, but all under a different organization name. Navigating contacts is frustrating and I wish it were more streamlined.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The calendar feature helped my organization solve a double booking issue, particularly during COVID reopenings when there were limits to the number of people per conference room. In the present, it is extraordinarily helpful for planning events that are NOT food-based, such as exhibit openings.

  ### 11. A strong event management platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Sales and Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The design is intuitive and very quick to learn. It also has some great features such as being able to share your BEOs/function sheets with the clients which they find very useful and they also update when changes are made to the event without the client having to do anything.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

It would be great if there was some way to great invoices and link them into an accounting package. It would also be nice if there was a way to put allocations for packages into the system. It would also be great if the system could have more CRM features added to aid the sale process. As it stands we have to use a seperate CRM to do this.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very quick system, easy to easy for almost anyone in the business. It keeps a good record of our event schedule which can sometimes be extremely busy and makes getting information for events easy. As it is online it also makes accessing the information extremely easy from anywhere including on mobile/cellphone.

  ### 12. Good for Sales & Events

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The ease of use. The interface is simple to understand, and there are a lot of tutorials online if you need some training. I was able to hop on youtube (the FAQ section is also helpful) and walk through several tutorials which really helped me learn the tool better.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

you can't set up notifications easily which would be nice! I would enjoy it more if you had to ability to easily set up notifications so that you can see when you are going over budget, or met a set financial goal. From my experience, there is no easy way to do that which is frustrating overall. But it doesn't keep us from using it almost everyday during certain projects, and I enjoy it.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Use this product for ease of implementing and tracking events, as well as tracking sales that come from those events. This tool is easy to use and understand, and can help you meet your budget and stay on track for all events. I have used it in and outside of this company, and really enjoy it.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for events and sales. I can streamline the event planning process, and it keeps track of my sales for the events. You can also use it to budget as well! I like to track all of our sales with it, and it keeps us on our financial goals overall.

  ### 13. Triple seat- Increasing productivity!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashely S. | Solution Delivery Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The user-interface is surprisingly easy and you can train anyone to take charge of it. The customer support and the onboarding team makes the user experience even better.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

When using triple seat for the communication with the clients, the messages often goes to the spam which often creates the issues between us and the clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

They should improve the messaging feature because it creates the duplicate conversation.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t need those hectic paper quotes since I switched to Tripleseat. It completely changed the way I do business and manage business. Every business has some detailed event planning and Triple seat helps in event planning, tracking customer status and what not.

  ### 14. Gather: event booking made easy, with a couple of shortcomings.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kadeeja J. | Marketing Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like how Gather is easy to use most of the time and the calendar can be synced on all platforms!

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I dislike that gather makes you send separate emails for payment, approval of the event, etc. I wish It was all in one section to check off and they sent the event owner all of it in one and send them reminders.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am given the opportunity to easily respond through the Gather platform instead on 1:1 on email and all comments and team communication on one platform.

  ### 15. Events made easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I really like how everything is incredibly organized via color code, as well as the 'tasks' feature, which helps me to stay on top of deadlines for clients

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The formatting of tripleseat can be limiting- copy & paste completely erases the original formatting of what you are inputting, so having to manually type everything can be tedious.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am soving problems of having files in one place/billing organized and very clear on what has been done and what hasn't.

  ### 16. Tripleseat

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

We took this tool for a test drive and like the interface. Very engaging. Good ability in managing the overall scope of the event.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I would like to be able to duplicate events over a number of days.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Awesome tool, very capable of event management.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very user friendly. I can customise a lot the features to my needs too.

  ### 17. Gather

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like the automation feature in notifying guests. Very price friendly tool as well.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Cross platform usage isn't that great. Some users had some issues when using the tool with their mobile.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

This tool helped us manage our events efficiently so I would consider businesses try Gather

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great for managing events. I recommend.

  ### 18. Gather Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** bryan w. | General Manager, Events Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Convenience and the polish interface of the software. Helps us manage our event business. Its nice that the client can see their event proposal, approve it, and then pay for it all in one spot. We then get that information fed into their booking page and are able to manage the event much smoother with less paper and clutter. So we like that a lot about this platform.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Could have a digital signature component. Perhaps move the team communication to the right side panel in booking window so it is more visible. Maybe move underneath locations on home page. Not sure if possible but the ability to pull events from google calendar into the gather calendar, instead of just one way from gather to google. Would like some better staff communication tools. Not all wait staff is a user on platform and would like to just be able to easily send them a BEO or team communication via email. Floor maps and organization for events would be huge. That is the next piece of the puzzle. Being able to have the client design their floor plan and easily send it to us.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

It is a great platform for you to manager you events and have a professional look for your clients to enjoy.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving: Having a central cloud based solution to store all event info and interact seamlessly with clients. And those have been realized.

  ### 19. Gather has been a great tool to keep my team organized and its updated in "real-time"!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Gather is a great tool to keep my team in sync and organized in "real-time". This is great when we have last minutes changes or events!

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

It would be great if you can Print the Events Calendar more clearly so I can post it in my office.
I would like to be able to add/change/customize the Drop down option Categories (ex General,Menu etc) so they pertain to my company needs. Maybe add a " Billing/Payment" category.
I had an issue with Gather not syncing with my work email and the company cannot resolve it so I currently cannot get email Notifications

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for a Management Team communication especially since I'm not always onsite.

  ### 20. Great event management software.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The best thing about Gather is their BEO's. They provide everything that our internal team needs to see as well as our client.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I do not like that Gather doesn't integrate with the main event platforms such as The Knot and Wedding Wire. So, we have to manually put in all our leads from these sites which makes it a much more time consuming process for us.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits of Gather is that you can have all your team in one place to communicate regarding client items.

  ### 21. Does a good job organizing clients and payments

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like that it allows you to include BEO because it helps our Chefs and us stay on the same page during an event.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

We would love to be able to turn on and off different forms of payment so that we can encourage specific types of payments.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

If you need a CRM that has BEO, then Gather is great

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of who has paid and it also allows us to give custom quotes very quickly.

  ### 22. Gather

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Easy to use, doesn't take long for people who have never used the software to adapt and be up to speed adn ready to book events instead and hit the ground running. Extremely organized, user friendly. Great customer service, I have never had to wait more than 24 hours to hear back when there is an issue. Very responsive. They also do great networking events near and around the area you work in, so it's nice to meet other user's in a similar field. The weekly seminars for new users or people having trouble adapting are wonderful. Works extremely well for multiple location and the calendar format is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Not enough places to input various details. When you delete a booking after it has been converted is completely disappears and you lose all information. That is extremely frustrating. Also, there are sometimes glitches where the calendar or the sales reports do not fully load. I understand that this is a newer software so glitches are expected and they do not outweigh the excellent customer service, however, it can be a bit frustrating when you are in a rush. Lastly the app is very touch and go. But having an app is very nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Doesn't have all of the features that other event planning software does, however the price is right, the support is excellent, and it is extremely user friendly.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization and team communication are highly increased with the use of gather

  ### 23. Simple to use, clean interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyson S. | Event & Volunteer Manager, Museums and Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The software makes it really simple to communicate with clients. Everything from the client's online "Event Portal" to the automatically generated forms that you can send, make it so easy to use. I don't use their Gather Payments function, but I think this would streamline it even more.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I really wish the calendar would sync to Outlook... Apparently it syncs with Google Calendar, but that's not what my organization uses.

I also wish there was the ability to create custom forms and reports. Their stock reports are interesting and helpful, but they don't fully serve the needs of our organization.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

I would say be sure to look at all your current systems and programs (like scheduling, billing, etc.) and make sure that they are - or could be - compatible with Gather. It allows little customization in terms of the forms, payments, compatible programs, etc., so you want to be sure that it will work for you.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest reason I started using Gather was to streamline event details and manage contracts and payments. We've taken on several more events this year, and all the event details, contracts, and payments were scattered between excel documents, calendars, emails, paper copies, etc. Not to mention that every time I had to create some sort of event form, I would have to retype the information (which would often change, and then be updated in some places and not others). With all the information in the Gather database, I know that everything is up to date and I can create forms (like BEO's or invoices) with literally the click of a button. It is way more efficient than my old system.

  ### 24. Increased efficiency to allow for more relationship building!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayley W. | Event Manager, Restaurants, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

User friendly, great calendar view, reliable & easy to read. LOVE the contact list with ability to view past events. Team communication is great!

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

A few details items I would adjust to make it more friendly to our establishment. The mobile app is not great at all, a lot of work needs to be done with this. Also, would like a way to mass email our clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Do your research on what you actually need the software for... compare to others and make an informed decision with the help of the Gather team.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased efficiency, to allow more time to communicate with guests. Great to have a contact database with all our client & love that it can easily save and store past event information.

  ### 25. Need better message window and email system

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reginald M. | Director of Sales and Marketing, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

How fast the updates are when I receive a new message, submitted proposal, or credit card added to a sale.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Unfortunately, the email is not the greatest. It has become highly inaccurate for delivery and I have had to become involved with the Gather IT support on more than one occasion. Currently, still having issues. Having to use my gmail account to deliver messages. Additionally, when you are trying to respond to a guest, the message windows does not move and I continually have to close the window to view their original lead.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving a lot of organizational demands that Gather tracks and assesses everyday for us. It simplifies the way we track reservations and process BEO's

  ### 26. Great organizational skill on pc.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle C. | Executive Sous Chef, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

it's a great over all organizational tool for helping with event set up as well as the payment system makes things a great deal easier. team communication is also a really great. makes it so you don't have to fish through a bunch of emails to find prior communications just have to look up the event. all in all a great system.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I do think that the cell phone app needs an extreme makeover however. it is not very reliable when looking things up on the go. has extreme trouble loading events and team communication is limited since you cannot @ a team member via cell phone.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ability for guests to pay has been the best benefit for our customers. i would say the organization between front and back of house ahs been the best area that we have been able to solve. very few things are missed using this system.

  ### 27. Fantastic Sofware

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie S. | General Manager, Restaurants, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I love having everything in one place. Being able to communicate, make menus, and communicate with everyone on the team has really steamed line our private dinning room program.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

There are couple of areas that could be improved. One suggestion of mine is be able to check availability of a date requested on the computers like you can on the mobile app they have. Also, customers sometimes find the event portal a little confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Fantastic. Pays for itself in no time

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before gather, our private dining room program was a little heck it. Customers would call and request a certain evening. My hostess would write everything on these pieces of paper and I would try to get back to them asap. I would then have to create new menu for the program, make sure everyone was on the same page. Have correspondence in my outlook. Even if I had everything written out and printed on my clip boards labeled with the day. If I was not there I would get a phone call asking me all the info that was right in front of them.

  ### 28. Super user friendly CRM system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Easy to use for my employees, we are able to get them trained on the system in 2 short training sessions. The whole Gather team is super helpful and very quick to respond to questions. They take suggestions and actual make changes to their system accordingly when it makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I wish it had more detailed reporting and personalized options when it comes to reporting.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

If you are looking for a system that is user friendly and easy to train your employees look no further. The whole Gather team is also very helpful and open to suggestions for new features, they are rolling out new features almost every month. Being able to have your guests log into a portal and see at a glance all of the important information about their event, where they are with payments, and be able to make payments at their leisure.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are booking customers at a faster rate, and able to get payments in a much more timely manor.

  ### 29. Gather is helpful, but there is definitely room for improvement.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany D. | Event Coordinator, Events Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like having everything all in one place for everyone to access... contract, event details, menu, minimum spend, estimates, etc.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

1. It's difficult (multiple steps) pushing Gather to Google Calendar (both on computer and phones).
2. I cannot add/edit events from app on the phone. I cannot view past events on the app.
3. It will not keep me logged in (on my personal computer or on the app on the phone). If I do not use the app for a couple of days, it logs me out. Maybe at least update it to where you can use your fingerprint? Or a pin?
4. I hate not being able to see the entire calendar through the app on the phone.
5. I don't like that I cannot personalize certain things. For example, I'd like to be able to personalize the feedback email. I'd like to be able to make my own template for the feedback email. I'd also like to be able to program my own template for the send proposal email.
6. I would like to be able to control the default settings for the calendar (automatically showing up colored by venue, room, etc).
7. I'd like to be able to send a proposal through my email (on the same thread as my previous correspondence with clients) rather than having to send a separate email via Gather. (I've copied/pasted the link before, but it just takes them to the portal....it does not also ask for them to click/approve of the policies).
8. It would be nice if instead of printing event summary and cc auth, they could sign electronically through Gather.
9. When entering menus....it would be nice if there was an option for including the number of pieces/items per order (and I don't mean text in the description...because that is then included on the 'menu' populated for the customer). It would be nice if that was an unseen detail that was only used to show the itemized total of pieces/items on the invoice/chef BEO/BEO.
10. When making the clients' menu/order, it would be nice to have one invoice/working spreadsheet - all on the same page - that shows 1) number of item orders, 2) number of pieces of each item (multiplied by the number of orders in real time as entered/adjusted), and 3) the total price. It would be nice to have to keep jumping back and forth between event summary and financials when trying to build an order within a specific budget.
11. On the app - when users scroll down and see 'Summary', a list of the menus I used for this event is shown. However, this is a copy of the full menu (and not a list of the selections the client actually made from it). My staff is well aware of what our full menu looks like. What they need quickly from the app is to see which selections the client made. I understand they can just keep scrolling to look at the documents...but this 'summary' just seems unnecessary as-is.
12. When creating an event - if I'm logged into my personal Gather account, on my own computer, I don't see why I need to go through the extra step of selecting myself in the drop down menu as 'owner' of the event.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Use the support documents on the bottom, right of the screen. They're very helpful and they have helped me a lot.
I personally thought it was a lot easier to upload/enter in my own menus/documents/policies (rather than having the sales associate do it).

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients view the platform as user-friendly and professional.
It's nice having everything in one place as a final result.

  ### 30. Gather's created more efficiency in our day to day operations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** McKenzie S. | Meeting Coordinator, Executive Office, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

What I like most about Gather is that everything I need is in one place. I can find all meeting details with a few quick clicks. I appreciate that the Gather team has already thought through the process for their customers and what it looks like to build a meeting. They've incorporated these details into the software to make it easy for me and my team, for our customer while being ultimately. paperless.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I understand Gather is still developing their product, and I appreciate the effective communication of product updates and prompt communication from the Support Team when I need a solution. They're always open for feedback as well, desiring to get better!

One of my biggest pain points is the lack of capability for linking a multi-day booking. We have created a short term solution by creating individual bookings by the day, but when it comes down to accurately reporting finances and sending agreements, it can get a bit sticky for those two to five day meetings. we don't want to keep sending the customer email after after requesting a payment and an agreement approval, so both of those items live in the first day of the multi-day booking. However, when it's a one day meeting, it's a breeze.

Additionally, we manually send payment receipts. It would remove one more step from the process if, once a customer made a payment, the receipt was automatically emailed to them.

Lastly, I would love for the Gather app to have a calendar as a whole for easy access and viewing to check availability while on the go.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Test it out. Walk through a booking with your colleagues or ask a valued and trusted customer to do a "test run" and provide feedback. I recommend going through every step, evaluating every detail to ensure it best suits your needs. Ask questions to the Gather team. Tell them what you need and how you can find a solution to the problem. They're available for you and always willing to help.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are communicating in one place. If there's a question concerning a meeting, every one knows where to look to find an answer.

A majority of our company has access to the calendar so it's beneficial to check availability at surrounding locations to help sell space and provide answers to customers.

  ### 31. Great event software - streamlines my job!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia S. | Special Events Director and Marketing Manager, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I have a very high volume restaurant and having this software has made our internal communication so much better. I work at a corporate office and deal with 2 different locations, which can sometimes make the communication process difficult. It helps to provide our entire team with the proper information and allows me to respond to inquiries quickly and efficiently.

In terms of efficiency, I think the generated proposals are great for both the client and our team. They are clean, easy to read, and intuitive for our staff and provide the client with a hub for their event, which puts them at ease during the planning process.

I also think it is extremely convenient since I can access it from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I think there could be some updates with the homepage - allowing you to move through leads like email, by clicking through each one, without having to go back to the main page. I also like to work in my email account rather than on the system, so sometimes it can be repetitive when I log on. It can look like I haven't responded because they don't automatically become "read" if you open the leads from your email.

I also wish there was a way to add to additional contacts to the messages within the system, in case there are a few people handling the events.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

If you are looking for an event software to simultaneously grow and streamline your special events business, Gather is a great option. I think the system is easy to use, while providing both professionals and clients a beautiful product. It generates documents based on your entries, automatically updates as needed, and provides an overall hub for your team and your potential clients.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently trying to build another off-location business through one of our current locations, so it is trying to figure out how to utilize the calendar properly. we also have live music events at one of our venues, so it becomes challenging to incorporate those on the calendar without confusing the other locations.

I have great feedback from clients and from our staff about how well the system works. Clients really enjoy their event portals and my kitchen and management staff appreciate the internal BEOs and other documents.

  ### 32. Pros & Cons all around

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lacey S. | Catering Sales Manager , Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I love the calendar view and how it is color coded. It makes things very easy to see what is available or not. I love the lead aspect as well. I haven't gotten many yet but I know it will pick up. I love the homepage snapshot as well! And I love that everything is done in real time as far as the proposals/changes.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I think the reporting aspect is really lacking. I don't know if anyone at Gather is familiar with caterease but that is the one thing I miss from caterease. There should be an easier way to look up your sales for a time period or look up specific clients and have everything totaled for us. I can't believe that I always have to manually add things up or export it into excel and do multiple steps to get the necessary information organized and do the formula to give me a total. If you can come up with a similar way to do a "query" as it was called on caterease, gather would be perfect!

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

It is very user friendly and organized just lacks in reporting.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solving the problem of confirmations. Caterease lacked in that aspect. I love that this is all web based, sends them a proposal and they have to confirm it before moving forward. This makes things easier when clients try to fight you on something.

  ### 33. Gather Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tricia S. | General Manager, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like the the options on the calendar or listing. The ease of uploading menus and documents is good and the ability to process payments using our credit card processor makes things easy! The team communication is a great feature as well

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

~I would like it if there were invoice numbers you can associate with the payments
~If there were some kind of Word integration that would allow you to sync with Outlook.
~If there was some kind of timing feature where you could plan out the event for your staff where the client wouldn't see it.
~ There are spaces where you put things, but they don't show up on the BEO's

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keeps things in one location when it comes to booking our venues and scheduling catering. It has also helped us communicate on our events internally.

  ### 34. Gather

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** daniel g. | General Manager, Restaurants, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It is extremely easy to print out any of the necessary BEOs and forms. The ease of communication between our event planner and the restaurant is great.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I wish that the website was easier to login. If I am on mobile, it is incredibly difficult to find a way to login without clicking on a direct link.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Make it easier to login in mobile

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love having a standard BEO format that is autopopulated instead of filling out everything by hand. I just wish the blank beo's had a little more information like address and directions.

  ### 35. Gather for catering companies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Event Manager, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The ease of creating proposals
Invoicing & payment facilitation
Able to collect leads via our website

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

No chain for email, clients hate this
Lack of customization on invoices, ability to crop photos properly when upload
The manner in which our "from" line looks to.clients
Cannot do proposal for lead MUST turn it into booking first. Then we have to cancel.or delete but it was truly only a.lead.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

If they implement updates this could be a great option for your company!

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeding up proposal time
Easier to update and change menus for clients, headcount and financials.

  ### 36. Solid software that is extremely useful.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen S. | Corporate Account Manager, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The team communication log is very useful for communicating party needs with out the guest being able to View them. I really like the tagging feature.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I do not like that there is no way to set a reminder to call back a customer.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Make sure that everyone who is using this software with in the company has a very strong understanding of it otherwise it can cause some confusion.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps us build out party packages for customers very easily, which has really helped us build revenue by improving our efficiency.

  ### 37. Great!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The various color-coding of events, that both myself and the client remain up to date at the same time without digging through past quotes and emails,

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Not as much customization in the frame of each event as I'd like (note titles), the mobile app doesn't shift perspective (it's only vertical) and doesn't allow notes to be taken while in the app.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

The only thing that I would warn against is that it does not allow much room for editing contracts. Our venue and catering contract stipulations and terms don't waiver, but for a company that creates custom contracts per event this might not be the platform to use.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a thousand times more organized and have easier access to each other's notes and communication with clients.

  ### 38. Useful app for group planning and scheduling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Ability to store documents in one place, view calendar for future bookings, use app on phone for offsite events. It has been great to have an integrated system between our events manager and kitchen team to create order sheets in a more streamlined way.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

It would be helpful to not have to log in to view the BEO documents. Especially while on the go or using a phone, and quickly need to look up an address.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Great for communicating within team environment- the hard part is getting everyone on the team acquainted with the software and using it. The more users though, the more effective it is!

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency between departments (events, kitchen) is great. Allows for quick communication as long as everybody is on board.

  ### 39. Gather

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan T. | Catering Manager, Restaurants, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like the speed. I also like the intra-office messaging details that do not show up on the customers proposal.
I like the ease that the menu changes can be made. I also like having a separate financial page. I like the message feature that lets me know email is opened.
Customer service and support is excellent and always kind.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I dislike the pale fonts. I always have to lean in to read details. I wish there was a faster way to print BEO's for the week than the download process. I wish there was an easier way to get from January to April on the calendar page.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the whole team informed on events.

  ### 40. Review of Gather

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I think the software is user friendly, the calendar and leads coming in makes it easy to individualize each person's portal.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

There are a few things I would love to see improvement upon:

I would love to see the BEO /Event Summary structure have more of a format when it is being printed.
The spacing, and things that are visible to the client on the event summary are difficult to format in the system.

Since the portal also updates in real time, I would love the option to save drafts in case the client would like to see something that was on our original/first proposal sent.

In our personal email account, I would love to have a link on the email that takes you back directly to the guests' portal. Or have in the email thread their original lead information.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

user friendly for the client and you!

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to respond to inquiries within a timely manner, as well as keeping each client's information organized without a paper trail.

Also, the calendar allows us to not overbook spaces.

  ### 41. Very good software that facilitates the process of booking private events

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahatman G. | Event Coordinator, Restaurants, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It makes really simple to organize the events

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

It requires some time to learn the best way the portal is going to work

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not need to be exchanging documents and attachments through emails, it seems safer for guests to put their Credit Card on file since they do for themselves, event can be updated anytime and reviewed by clients instantly, many user have access to updated calendar event.

  ### 42. Review for Gather

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin K. | Sales & Marketing Manager for Roka Akor, Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like how easy it is for the client to accept and review events. I love how a different picture shows for the room booked. I like the interface and the overall look of Gather. I love how it is tied to emai

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I dont like how you cant edit events on the app. I HATE that when you are in calendar mode, it always goes back to the today but never goes back to what you are editing. I dont like how you cant do an estimate of guests (ex between 45-60).

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im not really solving any business problems but being more organized increases sales.

  ### 43. Great Internal Event Program

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like how easy it is to communicate with all the members of my team about our events.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I wish it has more functionality for communicating and interacting with clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Be fully aware of its capabilities beforehand. There were a lot of things that did not apply to us, but we are unable to customize, so they are lost features. Other things we thought it would simplify for us, it wasn't actually capable of.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone is able to see the current status of a client on their own, from wherever they are. So it eliminates the need for back and forth phone calls or emails.

  ### 44. Gather gave our company the tools to succeed.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Gather's ability to update proposals live with customer not only provide great customer service but helps all our staff to be more productive.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I struggle with the programs financials. It is unfortunate that repeat customers are unable to keep, or copy over their payment information from prior orders. I also experience a decrease in tipping for our delivery driver as customers wish to tip after their services have been rendered. This requires the clients payment to be processed a second time.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a young business and the tracking benefits of lead and booking reports allow us to understand our growth. We have found what time of year it is best to focus on marketing, and when we should prepare to over staff based on year over year results.

  ### 45. Great Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan M. | Tour Manager, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Makes it pain free to communicate and have all needed info for any event.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Wish it was more mobile friendly. Even the app doesn't help much, it doesn't rotate, or offer a calendar view.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling to have everyone informed for catered events or private tours, and this makes it easy.

  ### 46. Gather

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel L. | Sales Manager, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I think that Gather is very user friendly and has amazing customer service. They still have some growth to go in customizing for different business styles, but all in all a very easy program to use.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The customization of the program, for unnecessary fields or additions to new fields. I know they're working on this though!

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Ask detailed questions about realistic time goals for importing your current bookings.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the cloud services that Gather provides is positive, as well as payment processes. We're also enjoying the reports.

  ### 47. Gather evaluation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Castianeira C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Love the ease of access and having everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

can't see the e-mail addresses when another person is cc'd in from a guest. wish you could see the actual e-mail address and not the notifications e-mail address.

wish there was a customer BEO and a restaurant BEO that had all the notes about the guests and details that you do not necessarily want the customer to see.

wish there was a way to link it to opentable

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

this helps keep everything organized.

  ### 48. Organized and User friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Every detail about every event is all in one place - and everyone on our team has access to the information. I love the documents it provides to either email or download, and it also allows you to upload your own documents. Also, the calendar connects to our GCal that helps keep everyone on the same page.

Finally, the Gather team is consistently trying to improve their services and listening to feedback.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Gather doesn't work through email chains (you just send "messages") and when you receive emails on your Gmail from Gather, there isn't a way to keep an email chain going through your Gmail.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather is helping streamline all of our business from the initial inquiry to the finale.

  ### 49. Great software, but needs to iron out some kinks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia P. | Private Events and Sales Director, Entertainment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The ease of use, is aesthetically uncluttered and pleasing to the eye. Allows for easy department communication.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

No link to Google Calendar, no ability to generate multiple proposals for one client, has a glitch that can combine multiple client emails if you send an email with the same header, doesn't allow me to track my sales for items other than food and beverage (as in venue and staffing charges).

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of communication with clients and staff, much better than what we were using before.

  ### 50. Director of Events

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inga W. | Director of Events, Food Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It is a great and easy system to operate

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

BEO formats. The BEO templates are not user friendly. We have to manually re create each BEO into a more suitable format that can be used by our operational team.

**Recommendations to others considering Tripleseat:**

Compared to other systems such as Delphi, Gather has multiple things to improve on
- Reporting (i.e. events overview reports or daily events report)
- BEO template (missing multiple features such as combining the financials with the chef's BEO)

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A
