I rely a lot on the airport maps but not every major airport is integrated into the tool. I went to Mexico City a few months ago and no airport map available. It has cut my planning time in hours per trip, sometimes I'm going to a new place and have not even seen the map of the airport and the direction of the hotel but since I have it handy on tripit I can use the built-in maps to navigate my way without planning. Itinerary and gate change updates in real-time are especially great when anything happens. If a flight gets delayed for any reason it will show in the application. I like that this software is simple and convenient to use. Many of the staff members who usually have problems with new technologies being introduced are able to use this fairly easily. My favorite function is being able to simply forward travel receipts/confirmations to TripIt and getting an itinerary created from that information automatically. Sometimes I wonder about the security of this program... I feel uneasy with how it continuously scans emails to find travel plans. That being said, I know plenty of users who find this function to be very convenient as they do not even need to forward their plans. A problem I have had with the automatic itinerary building is that sometimes it identifies emails with travel OFFERS as travel confirmations and shows that I have trips planned when I do not.
