Currently, the number of emails is not something that can be deactivated in Matcher, but features are constantly being added to Matcher in connection with suggestions and feedback from our customers. The ease of Balancer has been very beneficial to my team as we transitioned from an excel format to the Cloud based system. I like how easy it is to send information between products. When rules are defined in Matcher and templates are created this process can be seamless. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The implementation was not organized or very helpful. Our team was left to pretty much figure out everything on our own. The expectation of how Matcher would be set up and implemented was not how it actually occurred. RegEx is what is used for Matcher and it was very confusing to try to figure out on our own. Once we figured out a few rules though we were more easily able to create others. **Recommendations to others considering Trintech:** My only recommendation is to ensure you have an organized, concrete implementation plan. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to do less manual matching between sources via highlighters, print outs, and spreadsheets. We are also able to have a single location for all of our reconcilements and have made them consistent across the board. We have also utilized Task Manager for our month end checklist which has created a more robust process for us and is holding each person accountable for verifying tasks. ### 40. The training was first class. Our consultant, Melissa, was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and made everything easy. In a team meeting, the users all said how easy they found the system and how easy it made their lives (at month-end!) **What do you dislike about Trintech?** Nothing - it did everything that we wanted and made the month-end team's tasks clear and easy to follow **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a problem with tracking month-end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and the completion of journals. Adra solved all of those for us. We now have a much quicker and more controlled month-end ### 43. I like the way of uploading data, and also, there are a lot of features for tracking the balances. Another handy function is the auto reconciliation of balances. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** Generally, I am delighted with this software, but sometimes there are issues with connection with SAP. Also, sometimes, when you try to upload some data, I receive a strange error message. Customer support is not so fast. **Recommendations to others considering Trintech:** handy tool which provides better tracking of balances **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for various analyses and reconciliation. Also, upload journal entries via this tool. Preparation of some reports for management purposes and local GAAP ### 44. It is also convenient to distribute access to our financial departments and auditors, because we manage and are responsible for several companies, so we have multiple counterparts. ### 46. For example, sometimes, my import file may have been missing a reference number for one or two items. Currently, I have to redo the import. I understand why this limit is in place, but it would be nice if an admin could override it. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We reconcile about 100 bank accounts monthly with over 15000 monthly transactions. We have one person doing all the reconciliations. The auto reconcile feature of ADRA has saved days of work each month and allows that employee time to focus on other priorities. ### 47. And the dynamic FX conversion. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** A bit slow sometimes, also wish that the validator could add attachments **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** No need to convert audit proofs in different currencies to show how they match with the books, no need for additional Excel file where each member of the team reports what they have done. ### 48. The software has saved me a lot of time in our daily reconciliation process. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The software doesn't match as high of a percentage as when we first reviewed the product demo. There were no user guides to follow or assist with learning the system. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Adra for daily reconciliation of our store bank accounts and general ledger transactions to ensure the payments received match our sales records. I am able to quickly see and confirm that we haven't reconciled all balance sheet accounts within the period. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The only thing I can think of so far that would make the product even better would be to link directly to our reporting tool in excel vs me having to upload an excel doc in a certain format but not a big deal. **Recommendations to others considering Trintech:** I would highly suggest looking into automating your account recon process with Adra, a more affordable software product than Blackline and appears to provide similar capabilities. It was easy and quick to implement within a month or two. It's easy to use and you can quickly ensure compliance from a sox perspective. The whole process has sped up our closing process (ie we don't like to say we are closed until recons have been completed and reviewed). **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Review process/ confirming compliance is A LOT more efficient from my perspective.
