It would be beneficial if the functionality could support reconciliations using both local and global currencies, providing greater flexibility for multinational operations. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cadency Match solves the problem of manual, error-prone transaction matching when volumes are large and sources are many. It automates high-volume matching, standardizes data, and pushes unmatched items into a clean exception workflow. ### 2. It has been great to standardise the reconciliation process within our companies and have a strict Quality Assurance process in place. CLOSE We have not used CLOSE to its full potential yet, and we are about to implement stage 2 of the project, which will help us deliver a proper close. Genuinely excited about our future CLOSE process. JE JE has been great to implement. We have just had year-end, and it went so smoothly due to JE. It gives us more control over the approval process and stops skipping procedures. Support The support teams are fantastic, and being split between Europe and the States, you have access to them all the time. They do what they say they will do, when they says it. As an admin user I am in the system all the time. The changes/upgrades on the whole and been really good for us. We have just recently upgraded to 11.3 and strongly recommend this system **What do you dislike about Trintech?** I feel the reporting could be much more intuitive. It can be difficult to get all the information you need in one report. We can adapt to it when it would be much easier if it adapted to us. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** With JE, it gives much more control over the approval process and stops procedure skipping. The control aspect is greatly improved by keeping all the GL in one place and in one style. Certification has standardised our approach to reconciliation and over the last 12/18 months our quality checks pass rate has doubled to over 90% (It a very tough standard to hit as well.) The view is not user-friendly as you have to scroll and it’s not easy to get a full picture, making it better in XLS. Additionally, the RTR Console did not balance for some countries and required the Trintech tech team to figure out why. Automation of low risk recs through DAM creates efficiencies and allows more time for review or high risk/more critical rec tasks. The customer service (Success site) is very user friendly and has countless training materials as well. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** Inactivation of users can be cumbersome at times. All workflows must be reassigned before users can be inactivated. This can be difficult at times, especially if multiple user groups are used. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are starting to tighten up risk ratings and better use DAM jobs in addition to bulk rec options to automate and save time reviewing all recs manually. This will give us more time to focus on High risk recs and high dollar open rec items. The reports/report fields that are available can give our management a clear picture or which recs are issues and need more attention. We are also starting to evaluate the close module to help eliminate unnecessary status calls/meetings throughout our periodic close process. ### 9. It's also pretty seamless as far as adding new data feeds as par to the developement is owned by the vendor. Another postitive is most of the load jobs run automatically without any manual intervention. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** Cadency is not very flexible regarding updating/making changes to account recons mid-period. It's best to make changes at the beginning or end of a period. Also, updates made to Cadency to fix important bugs are not available unless you do a full upgrade. Our current version dashboard of outstanding doesn't work properly and we'll have to wait till the next upgrade to fix. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our accounting group uses cadency to automate as many account recons as possible. Amortization items show a date that corresponds to the date of the current balancing period-it would be nice to have an effective date that would show the original transaction date. 2. Copy and paste feature for the date field-if numerous line items have the same date, it would be nice to be able to copy and paste the date to all those line items. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are now paperless due, in large part, to Adra, which has led to a significant decrease in time and printing costs. Apart from that I do not have any complains. Generating reports: when generating open items report, I don't see the option to filter out a particular account number that appears in all entities. It doesnt make the exception feild Mandetory when the preparer selects substantiated with and exception and not capture the exception. After implementation the Cadency we have achieved great end user experience as the system is easy to use with number number of features it provides great visibility for the preparers and reviewers. Also, Cadency provides effective integration to SAP, which gives more control on the journals, reconciliations, data integration. Cadency has become lifeline of our day to day business tasks. Frequency of use has been increased after we started using Cadency for different activities. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The overall support from Trintech is good, however we look forward to get more support for our business users who works in different time zones like: ANZ, APAC. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cadency has seamless integration with SAP and it helps to validate the data from SAP on a real time basis. With implementation of Close and Compliance module we got a benefit to watch the progress of the key process controls and at the end of the day or a month we have a consolidated report how our controls are being performed. I also enjoy the fact that you can automate multiple functions within the software so that both the users and administrators can save time and be more efficient! **What do you dislike about Trintech?** Some advanced reports' functions/cubes are setup in a way that requires an extra step but it is absolutely not an issue in the grand scheme of things and is a minor incovenience at best. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Facilitate the reconciliations process and also the journal entries process at the end of the month. Easy to also bulk and automate the recs that are at 0$ or the entries that are recurring every month.
