I used trint to help save time on a massive translation project I was doing. The ability to go through multiple languages made it a dream and saved me about 20 hours of work. This has completely changed and improved my job as a video journalist. I used to spend so much time transcribing and/or listening over to interviews I conducted. With this tool, transcripts are generated in a matter of minutes. No, it's not totally accurate but it provides a great starting point. Then, you're able to click on the part you want to amend, listen to it and fix. This is an awesome tool. A total game-changer and time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Trint? The tool does what it needs to do and that's to generate transcriptions from audio and video files. That's what's most important to me. We are transcribing video and audio interviews in a matter of minutes - all by simply uploading a file. It used to take 30 minutes, an hour or hours to do this. Trint is powerful because of its elegant presentation. A cloud-based app, Trint allows you to upload audio and work with it line by line. The software does its best to convert your audio speech to text, then gives you the tools to replay just the pertinent chunk of audio and make your edits. It's a fast process, a highly usable tool, and they give you some free time-based credits to try it out and get some real transcription work done for free. It works flawlessly and exports to all the formats I need, so nothing to dislike so far. Trint has allowed me to rapidly generate video transcripts so I can analyze the content from corporate video shoots and make decisions on paper first before editing media in post production. This allows me to distribute the content and get analytical feedback without distracting anyone with the visual dimension of the product (a video). I really like how quickly Trint can complete the transcription process once you provide the audio. Trint's platform has dramatically reduced the amount of time I spend transcribing interviews. The editor is constantly being updated and customer support has answered all of the questions I have had on confidentiality.
