Trint is a simple platform with great editing capability after the initial transcription. It is quick and easy to upload files, and to export them from the system. Instead of needing manual transcription (not cost effective, not quick), we can upload an audio file and have a base transcription in minutes, allowing us to track necessary next steps for staff and customers. Would be wonderfyul if you could change time code inside the same transcription. Starting with time code "A" but jumping to time code "B" in the middle of the transcription. Also there's a bug a little bit annoying. Sometimes when you change a Speaker, transforms the rest of the speakers to this same speaker. Not the previous speakers, but the next ones. Trint quickly provides audio transcriptions with a relatively high level of accuracy. The interface for correcting transcripts is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Trint? With larger files, the response on the interface can sometimes lag behind the person's typing speed, with changes taking a few seconds to appear on the screen. While the automatic labelling of speakers is very convenient, it sometimes makes an error when there is a long pause in the speech pattern- manually changing the speaker once results in the remainder of the speakers being mis-labelled, requiring further manual changes. Most helpful about trint is that we can seamlessly transcribe any mp3 or mp4 file quickly. The pricing is very budget friendly compared to other softwares. But, there is a scope for improvement in the accuracy of Non-English transcripts. Also, sometimes it takes more time to upload the audio with sizes between 80-100 MB. Before trint we used to rely on transcription agencies and waiting 2-3 days to get transcripts was consuming much of our report-making time. Trint has helped us provide quick transcripts post-completion of interviews with almost 80 - 90% accuracy, which is commendable. The software is very user-friendly, and anyone can understand the interface. Now with the help of trint, we don't wait for 2-3 days and get a gist of the interview so that we can start working on report formation shortly after the completion of the interview and this thing is need of an hour for us. It not only helps me to save precious time for transcribing the rushes, but it really allows me to make very accurate words selection and be very effective for editing. Ok it could seem a bit expensive, particularly for freelance, but it needs to have a regular workflow to pay the monthly subscription. It detects who's speaking automatically, you can export quotes/who said it/time etc. as a CSV file and has loads of other features that save you so much time.
