"Effortless HR with Exceptional Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

I really appreciate the accessibility of TriNet, as it removes the guesswork and saves time by avoiding excessive clicking through the site, which is really efficient. It's easy to find documents and resolve questions, which is greatly appreciated. The chat options are great support tools, and they are incredibly helpful for solving anything that I can't figure out on my own. The setup process was very easy and straightforward. What do you dislike about TriNet?

I think the organization of the files, looking for the forms and policies can be moderately frustrating at times. Clearer labels and sublabels, directory or search function that helps the user find those areas of the website. At its current function, this is a section where clicking through everything is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accessible Features, Minor Navigation Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like TriNet because it provides easy access to important information with most of the details I need readily available. Specifically, being able to access my 401k, having an overview of the PTO/Sick hours I used and have left, and viewing my paycheck discreetly are features I find very useful. It's just easy access with a few clicks, and everything is easy to read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

I don't have a problem with TriNet so far but I have noticed that when it comes to the performance learning section. I get a little bit confused. After I finished a task, sometimes I'm not sure if I really finished it or not so I would have to exit then reenter to know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slow, Buggy UI and Confusing Redirects Undermine the Experience"
0.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

It was easy to get started, and I was able to log in quickly. However, I ran into quite a few UI/UX bugs: some words showed up as random letters and numbers, and certain screens took a very long time to load—often displaying only a white screen. There also wasn’t any loading animation or other indicator to show that it was actually working in the background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The slow performance and redirects to different pages, there doesn't seem to be great coherency with the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trinet Rules!!!!"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

The UI / UX is very easy to navigate. The ease of integrations is wonderful and the performance is really great, no complaints! I'm sure that the pricing / ROI is incredibly strong, and when I was onboarding at my role, the support that Trinet provided as I set up my benefits was really helpful. I haven't tried out any AI features yet, but I'm excited to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

I don't dislike anything. This is a perfect platform that allows me to do everything I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dedicated Payroll Specialist and Account Manager Make TriNet Shine"
4/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

The dedicated payroll specialist and account manager are my absolute favorites. I really appreciate being able to work with the same people each time, so I don’t have to re-explain our company policies whenever I have a question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

TriNet takes a more corporate, hands-off approach. At times, that can leave us feeling a bit disconnected, especially since we’re a smaller company. Because of that, I’d be more likely to recommend TriNet to larger companies than to smaller ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TriNet: Easy to Manage, Great Performance, and Lightning-Fast Support"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like TriNet because it's super easy to use and manage. I've never had any issues with forms not being available, and the performance has always been great. Furthermore, their support is very quick, as they helped me out with an issue pretty much immediately. They also rolled out a new AI features recently, which are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The only real downside about TriNet, for me specifically, is the expense integration. Managing expenses feels a bit tedious sometimes, and while I recognize expense management itself is a boring task, I wish TriNet made things a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Dyslin of TriNet

Thanks for sharing how easy it is to use TriNet, and how great our support team is, Karan! We appreciate your time and feedback.

"Good on core services, fast & helpful support, sometimes a pain resolving issues."
4/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

TriNet support can be extremely helpful and quick for most of the time, and this is the most important metric for me. Unfortunately there are times when they are also exceptionally difficult to deal with, but those have been rare.

Other factors that weigh in - UI is mostly intuitive, although it is not unusual to have difficulties locating stuff. Eventually asking support staff via chat helps.

Performance wise they perform as expected - things are good, on time, and for the vast majority accurate. When they happen to be not accurate it is a significant uphill trip to get things resolved, but it appears that for the price this is what you get.

They have started implementing AI in the chat - as with most such attempts it is a mandatory waste of time for end users, until you get to talk to a person. On the good side, it is a relatively short trip compared to others.

Their services integrate seamlessly with other providers, which is a plus. In some instances you still have to manage separate usernames and emails, but it is not an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The push to remove the human - they push and insist that AI gets in the way first.

A major obstacle is when they happen to be wrong or get stuck on something - it is nearly impossible for them to admit a mistake. Eventually they do the right thing, but not without a major uphill battle first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Navigation and Detailed Earnings Breakdown"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

I use TriNet to look at my paychecks, download paystubs, request time off work, download documents, and explore benefits. I really appreciate how it breaks down specific numbers for my earnings. I like how easy it is to navigate, and it seems very secure as a platform. I also found the initial setup very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The only thing I've had trouble with in the past is how I can locate my W2 within the platform. I had been confused on where to find it. I thought something like that would be in the forms section, but it's actually in the money section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Dyslin of TriNet

"Navigating Benefits with Ease and Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like that TriNet is easy to navigate. For the most part, almost everything is very easy to find. If I can't find it myself, I like the chat feature because the staff is usually able to help me. I also like the dashboard; it's very clear about where everything is, so it's usually easy to find what I'm looking for, whether it's pay stubs, benefits, or such. Because the platform is easy to navigate, I don't get frustrated looking for the answers I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

Occasionally, it's confusing if the link takes me to another website, especially when it comes to selecting benefits or health coverage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use App, but Time-Off Balances Need Clearer Totals"
3.5/5
What do you like best about TriNet?

Very easy to use, phone app is handy for FSA totals and requesting time off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

I wish the time off totals were easier to see. Future vacations that are already approved should be deducted from the available balance, or there should be a setting to be able to include future approved time off in the current time off totals. Keeping track of time off is very hard with the current system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
