TriNet is really helpful as it lessens the HR department's workload considerably by allowing us to handle many tasks directly without waiting. I appreciate being able to log in, review benefits, make changes, and submit life changes even after deadlines. Also, it takes the time-consuming part out of normal interactions, which is very convenient. I find being able to see what I've selected for benefits very useful, especially since my memory isn't always the best. Additionally, using the mobile app quite often is a big plus for me. It has been a great experience using Trinet compared to my experience on the other portals that I have used so far. My company has been using Trinet for more than 5+ years now and we are very happy with the payroll support, policy management and customer service. They are consistently available to answer questions and assist with any employment related needs. They also provide lot of training and development sessions covering different topics to stay abreast with the current HR trends, policy amendments etc. Currently, I am focusing on getting familiar with the reports and analytics side. I believe they should work on enhancing their Performance Development section. It seems to be lacking the tools to implement it effectively. I really appreciate that with TriNet I have dedicated reps to connect with, which is truly helpful when I'm unsure about navigating the system or dealing with compliance issues. This application is so easy to use. It is by far the simplest platform I have used to submit and track my time off as well as my benefits package. The ONLY downside that comes to mind about Trinet is when I renewed by benefits this year- it showed me what Health plan I had last year but it didn't compare my HSA/FSA accounts from last year. It would have been nice to have that information side by side when making that election. I was busy with kids and didn't have time to go back and look to verify so I just had to choose something. Probably more information on the tax related documents and maybe a more personalized platform for people who are non-residents. As an international student working in the United States, I need to fill out different taxing and legal documents as opposed to residents, so having a more personal TriNet platform that educates me on the dos and don'ts and what all documents I need to fill related to my status could be improved.
