**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I appreciate that TriNet keeps everything organized in one place and streamlines processes like requesting time off and calculating vacation and sick hours. I also like the intuitive features on the homepage, such as payday information. The organization and thoughtfulness in every aspect make it easy to navigate to any section I need. The ability to do reimbursement requests through TriNet simplifies what used to be a more complicated process. Additionally, the convenience of the mobile app is fantastic, as it allows me to have all my information, especially health benefit details, on the go. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

There is nothing I dislike, I have no issues!

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like that TriNet is fairly intuitive to use and doesn't take too long to figure out each function. If I need help, I can usually get support within about twenty-four hours by email. It's valuable because it allows us to figure out things on our own without waiting for customer support, with prompts that help guide us on what to enter and where it needs to go. The initial setup was good, with an interview that helped set up how we wanted things done, and it became fairly seamless once it was going.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I would like customer service to respond a little more quickly. I wish the training sessions were more frequent, longer, or covered fewer topics instead of being crammed. Also, the hourly tracking system for employees clocking in and out has never been successfully deployed for us.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet to make employee benefit selection easy and manage payroll changes like direct deposit. It helps track certification expiration and simplifies hiring with an easy I-9 process.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I found TriNet to be a good resource, especially with the AI system making it really easy to coordinate. The AI system told me exactly what I wanted to know, even though it asked me to rephrase a few times. Ultimately, it was really good as I got the information I needed. I liked having instant access to information, which I think is important. It was interesting because when I had questions about my PTO or accruals, the system provided straightforward answers, something I feel a person wouldn’t have been able to do as efficiently. I found the initial setup pretty simple and manageable since I'm pretty adequate with technology. I'd recommend TriNet for sure.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I was a little annoyed when I contacted TriNet about sick time and they immediately passed my question on to my supervisor. That can definitely be improved.

TriNet's AI system made it really easy to coordinate and understand time off policies. It told me exactly what I wanted to know, improving clarity which was something I struggled with before.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I use TriNet as a customer support manager and employee, and I find it pretty easy to navigate since things are clearly labeled. My favorite part is the time off section with the calendar because it makes my job easier as a manager when juggling multiple time off requests. It's a simple all-in-one platform where I can submit and track expenses, request time off, and view all my documentation. As a manager, it allows me to seamlessly manage my team by seeing the time off calendar and approving times. It helps me find conflicts, so I don't have to do it all myself, and it makes managing timesheets easy and quick, with the process taking about 30 minutes or less for 7 employees. Overall, it helps me juggle multiple simultaneous requests from my team for time off, which is particularly valuable for managing a small team.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Knowing how much time is available is a bit hard to understand because it shows a lot of hours but those are not ready to be used, which makes it confusing.

I use TriNet to manage my team's time off and expenses efficiently. As an employee, it's a simple platform for submitting expenses and PTO. As a manager, it helps me handle time off requests, detect conflicts, and manage timesheets quickly for my team, improving workflow.

  ### 5. Smooth PTO Tracking, but Reporting Falls Short for Accounting and Payroll

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

Benefit sign up process worked well. Tracking PTO worked well. I don't have anything else to say.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Reporting for accounting was not providing the information I needed. For regular payroll review, there was also not an easy to use report so I could compare payrolls from one period to the next and drill down to see the changes. We had to run manual reports to get the information we needed and it still wasn't enough. The whole reporting functionality needs more for the accounting side.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is nothing specific to TriNet that it is solving a problem that wasn't already solved by ADP before we switched. It was just supposed to be cheaper than ADP.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like the time off section in TriNet. It's pretty intuitive and helpful to be able to see your projected time off and whatnot.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The time and attendance section is so difficult to navigate and takes so long to input everything. The system just needs to be completely reworked because every time you put in your time, for each day, it takes so long for it to buffer and load that you can't go add the next day. And it's just a completely wonky system. I don't think the initial setup was easy. I wasn't the primary person doing it, but I know my boss didn't find it an easy process.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet consolidates training and performance reviews into one portal, making it easier for everyone to access and update information. It facilitates mandatory training, like harassment training, without needing outside vendors.

I find it really easy to manage payroll with TriNet, especially with multiple accounts set up for direct deposit, and everything works smoothly. It's also very easy to manage my team's time off and approve it, which is straightforward thanks to having only one place to go for these tasks. The initial setup of TriNet was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Sometimes it's a little annoying to have to go to different sites to manage different aspects of my benefits, like HSA, FSA. It's nice to be able to still go through TriNet's main site for that, but accessing some of these benefits can be a little weird.

I use TriNet to manage payroll easily, with smooth direct deposit setups, and it simplifies managing my team's time off in one place.

I enjoy the user interface of TriNet. It matches my need for a platform that accommodates different ages, especially in a tech-centric job. It's changing and evolving, which I find engaging. I appreciate how the setup of information lets me access the website quicker to find what I need. Also, setting up TriNet was very easy and straightforward, particularly for my generation and those older, making it quite user-friendly.

There are some small issues with the way I receive notifications. I'd like TriNet to send me notifications based on my profile and available benefits, like free benefits or preventative care benefits, that are included in my package.

I like that everything is all in one place with TriNet. It's very important for me because it saves a lot of time. The smart insights on paychecks are awesome as well. They have graphs and pie charts, which help me bifurcate my paycheck to see the net amount and what's been deducted. So, it saves me a lot of manual time.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I don't know where to go if I want to take a sick day, or if there's even an option for that. It would be easier to have that directly integrated into my current timetable.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet for clocking in and out, viewing paychecks, and checking leave balances. It's an all-in-one tool that saves me time by organizing my work information and providing insights like paycheck details. It helps me manage my personal hours and day-offs efficiently.

We have an HR department of one and TriNet offers a variety of resources to assist with about everything. From answering questions to solving problems to providing suggestions on templates, we have found the TriNet platform to be a trusted HR partner for many of our needs.

While it is also easy to connect with a person at TriNet, sometimes getting to the correct expert in a particular area can be a bit difficult or delayed.

As a small company we do not have the financial resources to have a full HR department. With TriNet we have all the benefits and expertise of having HR in house without the expense.

Trinet provides a comprehensive place to review and understand my benefits and benefit options, track my 401(k) through integrated platforms, and stay up to date on my company's policies and procedures.

Too many clicks to get to a given module

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

Trinet is easy to use and fairly intuitive. Submitting PTO is simple and approving requests is easy. My favorite feature of Trinet is the open enrollment tools. It's very easy to compare health plans and make an informed decision!

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

It can be confusing to shift or change PTO because of the cancel/repay system. It would be better if the PTO bank hours UI looked more like a proper bank account since thats how it operates.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's nice to have a one-stop shop for all my work admin related needs. The dashboards for PTO and paychecks are especially useful and I refer to them often.

Its very easy getting the information needed for the different plans for health plans and benefits. Also, setting up time off is rather simple.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

When it comes to time off, it needs to be easier to notice where the full year hours will be to see what might transfer over to the next year. Having an allotment of hours can make it tricky to plan if you have to use them all within a year.

Having everything in one place and easily accessible problems benefits me as an employee. Its performance and onboarding process was and still is a smooth process as I have used it.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

It's neatly organized, it can be easy to find the documents and options you need. I like how the home screen has plenty of shortcuts to get you where you need to be. I also like how payment options and documents are structured to make sure you know how the allocations will be sent.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I wish the darkmode was more aesthetically pleasing. I know it's a nitpick but the purple and orange like colors really clash for me. I also would like a better notification system since some notifications can be more urgent than others.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As just a regular user, it's great to know where my benefits options are and the Trinet Perks is a very handy bonus if I need to travel or something. I like how easy it is to plan and submit PTO requests. I also like how policy changes and employee handbook updates can be easy to see and be notified of.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I honestly like how simple the hamburger menu is on the side. It literally just says time and money, making it super easy to understand and know which one you want to click. I didn't even need a tour or a step-by-step guide of how to use the website because of how straightforward it is. It was really easy to set up, and our HR person didn't even need to fly out to give us a walkthrough.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I didn't really like the perks section, and I also feel like some of the perks aren't even specific to TriNet. It'll just be random stuff. And it doesn't feel like it's necessarily optimized. So I saw you guys had an update, but I think there might be a little bit more work to do on that end.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet solves the problem of communicating my PTO. It used to be hard with multiple forms and calendar entries, but now everyone's aware quickly of what each person is doing.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I find TriNet pretty easy to use, honestly. I log in and I'm able to use it from my phone, which is pretty cool. I like the convenience, it's easy to get where I need to go, especially for my time card stuff. It's pretty quick to get there. I'm happy with it and I like the UI; it looks nice.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I noticed the time card could be a little bit off. When I clock in, it adds the seconds, and so it doesn't really round the time. If I clock in at, like, 1 PM and forty seconds, it'll take that time away. So I wish it would not necessarily do that. If I clock in at 08:01, I'll only have seven point nine nine hours billed for the day.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helps me keep track of my time, knowing what I worked and when, and lets me input PTO for family time.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I appreciate how TriNet keeps payroll and compensation super simple with a really intuitive system that automatically calculates all the taxes and withholdings we need to process for our employees. I think it's easy all around from an administration and employee perspective, and we rarely have any issues. When issues do arise, their customer service team and account management team are always just one call away, super responsive, and quick. I also like their online chat feature that connects me to someone within seconds, ensures I'm directed to the right team with the right knowledge, and if a question can't be answered immediately, they create a case and follow up within 24 to 48 hours.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I think the goal setting module in TriNet could use a little bit of work. It definitely works for our purpose, but it could use some additional functionality.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet keeps payroll and compensation simple for us. It's intuitive, automatically calculates taxes and withholdings, and their customer service is super responsive.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really like that everything is localized in one place with TriNet. The user interface works well, and I'm able to see everything I need to see. The initial setup of TriNet was easy.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I don't like the sign-in process only because it requires the code. An educational component and possibly a wellness component would be beneficial. For example, the opportunity to learn about the different resources, tools, and features, and how they benefit the user. Additionally, having wellness embedded within the user experience would be beneficial since we're on TriNet trying to request time off or looking up our benefits settings, etc.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet to monitor paychecks, PTO, benefits, and tax documents. It centralizes everything in one place, and the interface works well so I can see everything I need.

Group medical insurance is nice.  The discount perks sounds ok, but I never used them. The web site is however not done well, it looks outdated. I have called in before and the operators are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Outdated web site leaves a bad impression.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not use trinet software, only the web site.  And there is no problem to solve here, I access my pay and expense reports.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like that it is an all in one portal. In my professional career I have used to other HR systems: Gusto which was also all in 1 and Workday - had a horrible interface

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

When looking through my benefits, I don't love getting rerouted to external sites or being made to download PDFs. It is not a big deal but it is a little clunky at times.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I joined my current company and was onboarded to TriNet. I would say that the platform is intuitive and required very little training from my HR team. I like that it allows me to streamline my needs, whether I am requesting medical leave, trying to find my tax documents or looking for information on payment and benefits, its great to have everything all in one place.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like how TriNet makes it a lot easier to get my money and check my taxes. It's really easy to use and is designed in a way that isn’t too busy or overstimulating. I also like how there's a bar on the left, which makes it easier to access what you're looking for. The initial setup was very easy, which really helped. Overall, I might recommend it a 9 out of 10.

I don't like how there's lots of terms and conditions. I wish they would make it shorter so that people would actually read it.

TriNet gives me a strong sense of security. There are numerous safeguards in place to make sure you always remain compliant with state, federal, and local regulations. In addition, the platform offers a variety of useful tools and engaging content, which help keep administrators motivated and encourage a deeper understanding of everything the platform has to offer.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Those same safeguards that provide a sense of security can feel limiting and constraining. TriNet does not allow the same level of access to certain reports and records that you may be used to with other PEOs. It also did take quite a bit of time to get the platform to function well for our organization.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We will always need a PEO that can provide payroll and time-tracking services, but in my opinion, TriNet provides a lot more in the way of HR oversight than the average PEO. I should note that we do also work with another firm to provide a support service for HR issues for our staff.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I find TriNet to be a pretty simple and intuitive platform. Things are well organized and easy to find, and I like how all of the information about my benefits is easily found in one place. It just keeps me from wasting time jumping between multiple sites to view these things. The initial setup was incredibly easy; I don't even remember it taking much time at all.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I'm especially frustrated by the dependent care FSA reimbursement process. I find it to be pretty burdensome and cumbersome to use. I find that a lot of valid expenses are rejected. And then that requires me to submit follow-up forms or make calls to clarify the information. And it almost seems like they don't wanna release your funds. So I really don't like that.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet to manage my benefits, view and request time off, and access pay stubs and tax forms. It's simple and intuitive, saving me from jumping between multiple sites.

I love that TriNet gives us a lot of options to customize our healthcare benefits and other benefits supporting employee well-being. It's easy to log onto and use, especially with the mobile app, making it very convenient to access and look up the information I need wherever I am. The mobile experience is pretty seamless. As a new employee, logging on and choosing benefits every year is a seamless experience.

I don't like that the FSA reimbursement process with TriNet often takes several iterations to be accepted, which could be faster and more clear-cut.

It’s an all-in-one HR platform. The team is very responsive and always available to help when we need it. We also have an account manager who is easy to reach and has been a great support.

Trinet’s pricing is a little on the higher side. We don’t use their applicant tracking system because there are some issues—for example, you can see yourself and previous comments on your hiring when you are the hiring manager now.

The dashboard has made onboarding very easy and smooth. It feels intuitive and I was able to quickly set up all of the details that I needed to set up (direct deposit, W2, personal info, etc.).

There are no downsides that I have encountered so far, except that I have redirected to certain tasks outside of TriNet. But I do not think that is a negative, it seems to just be how the tech stack is set up in this particular case.

I find TriNet makes things very accurate and makes a lot of tasks seamless. I love that everything an employee needs is online and available, really getting most of these tasks off my plate. I like that there is always a way to get in touch with someone, and multiple ways to do so. The way you input any changes, and it just smoothly goes over to payroll, is great. The reporting features are also great and always getting better.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The time between submitting the payroll and getting it back is very tight, especially since I need to fund the payroll as well. Also, it takes many of the departments, particularly when dealing with issues like taxes or LOAs, longer than a week to get back to you.

I use TriNet for everything payroll, HR, and taxes. It makes things very accurate and seamless, getting most tasks off my plate. Employees have online access to everything they need, and changes smoothly integrate into payroll.

I really like the Dashboard and Quick Links to easily access what I am looking for. The Dashboard is clean, clear, and not overwhelming to review important information. I think Paychecks, Time Off, Notices and resources are all key items to have on the Dashboard. All other pertinent information is right at Quick Links! So I am able to quickly get over to something that is not on the Dashboard.

I do not care for the Pay History Chart. It is not helpful to me, I could do without.

Before TriNet, it was hard to track my paystubs, next paydday and payroll schedule. I can now easily track that and more! I like how I can see the history of my pay and history of my vacation and sick time as well as tracking vacation and sick time! All very important to an employee.

I like the different services that TriNet offers to support our small and medium-sized company. TriNet helps us with payroll, benefits administration, and other important areas like compliance within HR and Legal, and it provides good benefit options for our remote workforce. I value the specific tools like the Payroll, Benefits Administration, ATS, and Review Tool. Additionally, from what I hear, the initial setup went smooth.

The ATS can be improved by incorporating AI in the system to help screen through resumes. The Time Card tool can be improved by integrating it within the Payroll tool and allowing for better reporting. The Review Tool can be improved by adding more customizability to the fields (e.g. text, underline, bold).

I like the responsiveness of the partners at TriNet. They're very thoughtful and have a can-do attitude for support, which is not always the case with outside platform help. I can get help the same day and have support in escalating issues for bigger problems that may arise. The setup was pretty easy once we overcame the bad data being transferred from one system to the new one.

The performance management section of TriNet could be better developed to be better integrated and include smarter workflows. The system doesn't identify new hires to auto-assign programs, so it could use smarter triggers to aid in administration.

The only issue I have had was one of a financial impact where we were told we would have to use revere fedwire to fund our payroll and after 6 months we could re-evaluate and just set up a draw from our bank, but when contacted about switching, we were denied. Not a major impact except that there was a cost for each fedwire from our bank.

I find TriNet easy to manage as an admin and pretty easy to use as an employee. Employee benefits enrollment is straightforward and easy. I appreciate the plenty of timely reminders and overall, it feels very lightweight for usage. The UI and walkthroughs don't take much time, allowing me to quickly select plans and understand what's included.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Right now, I'm only limited to use in The US. So hiring and managing a team outside The US, as well as talent acquisition, is limited. You can add talent acquisition and EOR capabilities. Currently, I have to use other EORs, like remote. Centralizing into one platform would mean I don't have to maintain a TA team or manage in different platforms. Also, being able to onboard contractors and temporary workers would be useful.

I use TriNet for payroll and employee onboarding. It helps with payroll and benefits management, including sick leave, holidays, and retirement plans.

I find TriNet easy to use compared to other systems I've experienced at another company. It's user-friendly, which I appreciate. I also like having access to all benefits in the same location, so when I want to check my FSA account or PTOs, everything is conveniently here. The initial setup was pretty easy too.

The login process is pretty hard, especially when using two computers, making it difficult to log in quickly. It would be much more convenient if TriNet could save two computers as safe to avoid the two-factor authentication every time. Additionally, I can't enter times through my phone, which is a huge downside of the app.

I like that the information in TriNet is organized well enough, and the tabs are on the left rail, making them easy to click on. It's convenient that we can find what we need fairly easily. Additionally, the initial setup of TriNet was fairly easy.

The website looks like it's from 1999. The UI could probably be improved a little bit. And there's also a lot of external links that connect to outside vendor websites for certain things that they present as coming from TriNet specifically. It'd be nice if it was either an embedded app so that we don't have to navigate outside of the main page.

I think something else that I enjoy or works really well with TriNet is that it's easy to navigate even on my personal laptop or my phone. It's just user-friendly on all devices, not just on a computer. I really enjoy that.

Something that doesn't work as well or could be improved is maybe limiting the amount of things that I see on the screen once I click a tab. It's sometimes a little overwhelming to look at so many different things at once.

The vacation and sick time calculators are also great because they let me estimate my future balances, which really helps in planning time off. I like how user-friendly TriNet is. Compared to other PEOs, it's the easiest I've ever used. For my job, where there's a lot of changing parts and situations like my insurance, all the information I need is just one click away. It also teaches me how to navigate the site well. Additionally, the initial setup of TriNet was very easy.

The app isn't the best, and I feel like I shouldn't need another app just to clock in. Also, the system can crash at times without explanation, mainly when clocking in and out.

I like how TriNet is easy to use, and I'm never confused on directions or where to go for something. I find the dashboard especially helpful for onboarding as it shows clear next steps, which is really beneficial. The comprehensive portal is great as it combines benefits and other work information in one place, saving me from having to visit multiple sites. I really appreciate that TriNet integrates easily with my personal and professional emails, so I don't have to worry about going back and forth to find things related to my benefits. The ability to access my benefits links like EAP and FSA all in one spot is really handy too. Plus, the clear instructions are helpful, and I always get quick support responses, which I find very efficient. Overall, everything being in one place on the dashboard is a key feature for me.

There was one issue that I had trying to sign up for benefits where I would click the sign up button and it went to an error page. I don't know what that error was caused by, but it seemed like a more widespread thing.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like that TriNet is easy to navigate and offers a user-friendly dashboard. It keeps me updated on my 401, incentives, and any changes to my accounts. The dashboard effectively shows the balance for upcoming PTO, time available or used, next pay date, and upcoming holidays, which helps me keep track of everything. I particularly like the planning feature in the PTO balance that allows me to add a future date so I can see what my balance will be. The initial setup of TriNet was very easy and self-explanatory.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

It could be offered as an app on the phone for ease of access.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really find TriNet user-friendly, which is a big plus for me. It makes it easy to access all the important documents like paystubs, tax forms, and other work information all in one place. The setup is very simple to understand, so I didn’t need much help even when I first started using it. It's convenient and easy to navigate, which makes managing employee information simple. I appreciate how intuitive the system is and that it doesn't make simple tasks more complicated than they need to be.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

There are times when certain sections of TriNet are not very intuitive to navigate, particularly when trying to go back to information or tasks. Once tasks are opened, they are automatically marked as completed, which prevents me from going back if I haven't actually finished them. It would be helpful to have features like recently viewed items or easier ways to return to commonly used pages to make the experience smoother.

TriNet makes it easy to find job assignments and track pay schedules. It's user-friendly, allowing me to access paystubs, tax forms, and work information conveniently in one place.
