I use TriNet to check my holiday hours, pay, pay options, benefits, request time off, and check my paychecks. I like knowing when and how much my company is providing, and staying on top of my schedule helps with work-life balance. I do like knowing the projected PTO hours; it helps when planning longer trips. Most features are simple and easy to use, the app is nicely formatted, and I can check my pay dates and holiday hours easily. The initial setup was easy, I'd rate it a 9 out of 10. I use it to enter my weekly work hours, and I don't like that it links me to a separate version of trinet to do that (https://trinet.cloud.centralservers.com/ instead of trinet.hrpassport) - it should be integrated into this interface. Also, the cloud central version I mentioned has a less useful / clear layout and honestly looks a bit too colorful and almost childish. It’s easy to find information about my pay and benefits. What do you dislike about TriNet? It would be really helpful if my employer integrated the paid time off request feature into TriNet and also synced our company paid holidays within TriNet. Ideally, all of these features would be available in TriNet so I wouldn’t have to log into multiple, disconnected portals to manage time off and holiday information. TriNet helps me quickly find my payroll and benefits information in a clear, well-organized way. Also, because my employer isn’t headquartered in the US, TriNet provided the forms and process I needed to request medical leave protected under my state law. It saved me a lot of headaches, since my company’s human resources team wouldn’t have had those forms readily available, and that likely would have slowed down the leave request process. The platform is really easy to use and navigate. It offers lots of HR-rich features that our staff enjoy like benefits, Trinet perks, The employee assistance program through AllOne Health, and the reimbursement intergration. I was able to connect TriNet to Quickbooks for faster and more accurate reporting. The price is very competitive and has provided a high ROI for our business which is important as a Non-profit. The customer service has been excellet. The entire Trinet team is very responsive, professional and helpful with any questions I have. I am not a huge fan of the reporting section and wish they would make it easier to create custom reports. I find it really convenient that everything is in one spot with TriNet. It's easy to look up insurance, pay, and take time off without having to go through a bunch of confusing menus. The user interface is really nice, making it easy to find the things I want. I also like the health insurance selection process during open enrollment because the whole flow is very nice and smooth. It's built into the system, so I don't need to go to some external thing, and it's easy to compare and select insurance. Plus, everything is clearly labeled and easy to get to, making it simple to access what I need regularly without having to reach out to HR. Setting up TriNet was very easy too. I appreciate that it is user friendly in general. The benefits make sense, and everything easily connects to each other. They try to make it as seamless as possible. It feels like a stable benefits holder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about TriNet? In general- the healthcare plans are shockingly expensive. As someone who has previously used marketplace insurance, it almost made more sense for me to choose a marketplace plan and choose a stipend because the premium is raised by so much. Unfortunately, the stipend is 1/3 of what this insurance is worth. Further- the milestones and goals are clunky for smaller organizations. I wish there were some more customization to support smaller organizations to make things simpler. Finally, using it to review resumes for the hiring process is not intuitive, and cumbersome. Trinet helps a relatively small nonprofit get "quality" benefits for its employees, and allows a clear view of finances, hours, and benefits. We have saved time by using the PTO system.
