All aspects of employee benefits are in one place. Good visibility into the time-off calendar with other employees' time off also shown. I liked being able to check my health insurance providers as well as my time-off & accrual history. I don't think I've used any integrations. I like that they pool together many companies to give competitive rates on health/dental/vision. I think that their website can be clunky, I think that there could be more benefit in updating their website to be a bit more user friendly and doesn't require you to be sent to a new page outside of the TriNet website. TriNet has so many platforms from HMOs to PPOs and other plan specific options that really opened up the marketplace. I really dont like when trinet takes you to an external page when you are navigating the website. I know it doesnt take long to leave TriNet and open up another site, however, it can get annoying when the prompt opens explaining that you are leaving Trinet for another link. Everything work related can be pulled up in TriNet as far as pay stubs, time off, and information reguarding benefits. I love TriNet's ease of navigation, which is probably my favorite thing about it. It's really easy for me to jump in at any point, manage my pay, paycheck, get my stubs, and coordinate my time off requests. The navigation and general user interface are simple, clean, and extremely functional. I've used other systems before, and TriNet is by far the easiest, cleanest, and most intuitive setup. I understand the need for security logins, but it feels like I'm logging in for the first time every time. Even though I check the option to be remembered, it doesn't seem to work. This process is cumbersome, but I appreciate the security. I also hate how messages are pushed to my inbox and I have to open them individually in order to clear and/delete them. I really appreciate TriNet for making it real easy to punch out and do all my professional administration work. I like the punch out feature and clocking in. The user interface is very easy, which I find helpful when clocking in and out, and going to lunch. I also enjoy the calendar feature that shares the paydays, pay periods, and holidays for my company. It helps me know what day is a payday by simply checking the time tab, where it's right there for me. The initial setup was very easy, and I got it on the first try. Plus, TriNet saw the problem of me having to log in on multiple different apps and is a platform where it's all in one, all inclusive, so I don't have to use multiple platforms. The simplicity of the system, how easy is to submit changes, process payrolls and manage benefits. Reporting is great and data is always available in many formats. Our point of contact is quick in their responses and always very helpful. The collaboration with Trinet works very well for us as it removes a lot of admin work. Most of complex queries end up with a customer service team, where someone different pick the ticket up every time, and this makes difficult to have personalised support. Also, when we had situations that we required legal support from Trinet, we were confronted rather than supported. The UI for the pre-payroll run is different from the detailed report after the run, which makes it difficult to track changes for each item. It's a good platform to use, pretty easy and pretty self explanatory. I feel like most HR platforms have the same functionality, and I think that's a good thing. I wouldn't want TriNet to be super different than my ADP or something crazy. I like how it's really easy to use, so don't change that. This is my first full time job and I'm pretty young, so I can navigate the website pretty easily. The setup was pretty easy. I had some struggles opening my account when I first started, but I think that was a technology error on TriNet's end rather than an actual issue with the platform or website. Trinet has really improved its service and resources over the last eight years that I’ve been a client. They especially make compliance easy when you’re hiring across multiple states. The UI for certain features—especially the self-service portal for submitting cases—is very difficult to use and navigate. The integration between their time & attendance tool and payroll also feels sloppy. Specifically, approved time off does not auto-populate into the timesheet, which can result in employees getting paid for hours they did not work. I’ve raised this issue with our Account Manager many times, and it doesn’t seem to be something that’s on their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I also find their I-9 solution integration and background check integration very helpful, especially for keeping the process organized and consistent. Also, Trinet's health insurance plans are very competitively priced. We saved a lot of money switching over to Trinet, and were able to offer our employees better coverage-- a huge win.
