What I like most about TriNet is how simple it is to use. I like that it is user-friendly and organized. The initial setup was very easy, as TriNet is very modern and straightforward. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** The only thing I do not like about TriNet is that the estimate for my PTO and SICK time from a specific date can be difficult to use on my mobile device. I use the timesheets the majority of the time, and for me, it's easy to use. The calendar feature is helpful because it assists me in managing the timesheet. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** Initially, TriNet wasn't user friendly, it's a little complicated trying to figure out where things go. I don't like that the approved sick time, vacation time and for one of my staff the holidays aren't prepopulated in the timesheet when it's time for approval. I don't like that you have to leave the TriNet site to locate certain features. It was difficult to understand how to use the different pages and where to locate the pages I needed to complete. My team is unable to input their own time on their timesheet, so I have to do each one and make sure their hours are correct. I'd like to be able to easily find what I'm looking for. For instance, when I'm trying to keep track of my team's time as well as mine, I have to go to separate pages. I'd like to be able to see the calendar while I'm doing the timesheets so I can make sure I'm putting staff's time in correctly. The pages are clean, and the information is neatly organized. The dashboard shows everything I need at a glance, and I especially like that I can customize it to sort and display the things that are most useful to me. The workflow drastically improved especially with the time entering features when doing payroll. The pages to view and edit time are designed and placed in easy to read/use. The previous software we used for this purpose was very buggy, with constant time outs. Trinet is fast and we have not experience any disruptions. onboarding is usually a daunting task but the Trinet team was able to handle our most complex questions. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** One of the biggest comments are towards the total hours. When an employee is reviewing their time card, they only see time worked on the time sheet and not any approved time off. The integration between the time sheet and the main site could make it so a employee sees all time on the timesheet including the approved time off, but it does not. **What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?** The cost. I really love viewing dashboards in TriNet to see how much time off I have left, and taking time off is very easy. Drilling into pay stubs to see where finances are going and setting up retirement options are easy too. Setting it up as an individual contributor was fairly easy. I would definitely recommend TriNet because it's very much up there with Justworks and other similar platforms. It's very easy to use, and I would recommend it very easily to someone else. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** I guess when it comes to setting up health care and things like that, or even retirement, you are taken out of TriNet and into third-party sites. And I think this is true of all HR management platforms. That's not the most intuitive flow. There’s a benefits expert, someone who can help with payroll, and as you become a bigger client, you can also have a dedicated person for more complex leave cases and other HR topics. They end up feeling like a consultant to your company, and I genuinely feel that’s worth the investment. They also have in-house legal counsel, and overall the list of what TriNet offers is pretty long. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** My dislikes mostly stem from some earlier experiences we had. One situation that stands out is when someone’s Social Security number needed to be updated. There was a system glitch, and I had to follow up on that case a few times before it was addressed. Since then, it seems like they’ve put new guardrails and system audits in place so updates are caught and handled more smoothly. I also think there used to be delays in sending notes to the leave of absence team about placing someone on paid or unpaid leave. I guess if I had to say one thing is the delay in getting feedback on certain HR issues that I have had questions for. When I clock in, it adds the seconds, and so it doesn't really round the time. If I clock in at, like, 1 PM and forty seconds, it'll take that time away. So I wish it would not necessarily do that. When issues do arise, their customer service team and account management team are always just one call away, super responsive, and quick. I also like their online chat feature that connects me to someone within seconds, ensures I'm directed to the right team with the right knowledge, and if a question can't be answered immediately, they create a case and follow up within 24 to 48 hours. **What do you dislike about TriNet?** I think the goal setting module in TriNet could use a little bit of work. It definitely works for our purpose, but it could use some additional functionality. **What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?** TriNet keeps payroll and compensation simple for us. I would say that the platform is intuitive and required very little training from my HR team.
