Zenefits is the one stop HR solution online platform that we selected over Gusto, ADP, and Paychex. Zenefits provides our company tools to manage payroll processing, employee recordkeepind and new hire onboarding at a reasonable cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Zenefits for a few years now for all of our payroll, benefit and PTO tracking needs. It has been a great tool and place to keep all employee history, documents and information stored. We are a fully remote company and have employees in 30+ states, and the ability to have Zenefits take care of all of the tax filings for all of the many accounts we have makes our lives so much easier. We implemented Zenefits July 2020 and have never been able to use it successfully.

1) Extremely poor customer service

2) Unable to reach a human - There is no phone number available. Their chat modules do not work, and when they do, the ?person directs you to links, instead of solving your issue.

3) Inability to provide support to use the service.

4) They only schedule 30 minute calls during which they constantly direct you to links, and follow up with an email with links.

I tried to schedule a longer call and their support team automatically cancelled the slots.

5) Inability to cancel subscription voluntarily. They want you to email them through a chat box and then wait to be answered.

DO NOT BUY. Everything seems great and user-friendly however their support and implementation team is terrible. My implementation manager took over a week to even make contact the first time and I had to reach out to sales to get implementation to reach out. There was no plan created for our company. They have training material but it's impossible to find what you're looking for. You have to wait for an agent to send you a link to find what you need. You'll be on hold for HOURS just to speak to a representation. No matter if it's chat, phone, or email. Save your money and your time by going with different software for your HR needs. 1. customer service: no direct call, hours are limited, chat session wait time is 60 minutes!!!

2. tax filing issues: a quarterly tax report file with amount calculated, printed and someone scratch printed amount and handwritten another amount which is lower. The payment went for lower amount to state and we got ding with penalties. No responsibilities, just excuses.

3. payroll issues: the software adds hours automatically resulting in emps getting double the hours paid and this happens AFTER the payroll verified and approved

We have been using Zenefits now for 18 months and love it. It’s a simple to use interface that is easy for me as the administrator and also easy for the employees to log in and request time off and view their pay.
