Custom reporting is either cumbersome to do yourself or very costly to have Viewpoint write a custom report. Being a small business it is difficult to set aside the time to write the reports with Crystal Reporting but at the same time it is expensive to get Viewpoint or another company to do it for us as well. The other con of Spectrum is the design of parts of its database. Some tables are hard to find as they were created under the old module name and since have changed the modules name so not all tables start with the same prefix.
