I love that Testim is approachable to users who have never written an automated test, and robust enough to handle custom code that experienced testers and developers can pass through. I tried to come up with something negative I could say about Testim. But I can't. The team is always on alert and happy to help the end users, so if there ever was an issue they are very quick to address it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface and the concept's cloud SaaS, so no need to worry about the storage, also does comes with a grid and custom one, I do not have to do any setup to start using Testing grid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You cannot move multiple test cases one-shot; sometimes, the locator is not easy to edit. Also, the test sometimes returns a false error because of the wrong behavior of the locator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything, Testim onboarding process is very supportive and it went smoothly. Once we have got the hang of it, writing tests was a breeze and allowed us to focus on the quality of our product and development rather than focusing on solving issues with our automation and spending a lot of time writing E2E tests. Testim did great job investigating and addressing all famous automation pain points.

First, they take care of all the "side work" (environments, code libraries, setups, versions, etc.) allowing companies to fully concentrate on increasing testing coverage of their business flows.

Second, being stable, reliable and intuitive solution, it allows achieving impressive outcome quite fast. Following best practices, it is quite easy to build very scalable automation project. There was nothing I couldn't achieve with Testim using it for almost a year by now.

Next, the Smart Locators mechanism proves itself de-facto: UI changes but tests keeps running identifying the elements by alternative identifiers.

Last but not least, reporting tools are highly self explanatory allowing developers to easily analyze failures and release QA bottle neck.

To summarize, Testim.io is quite a robust tool allowing to establish and maintain effective automation using both codeless and coded techniques. It is important to understand, that technical background is required to achieve success in automation project. Record&Play is a great start, however in order to be scalable, following the concepts of programming basics (such as reusable components, parameters, loops and conditions) is essential in order to be able to always extend the coverage rather than spending time on tests' maintenance upon application changes.

1. For me missing the option to see the overall network logs per all tests that ran. It can be a very good feature for testing. Even if test passed, sometimes there are some bad network responses that can be good to examine them

The bug capture is awesome because it takes a little effort to add or recreate the bug using the tool, at the same time capturing the steps, but the coolest thing you can do is the integration to (in my case) Trello, all the steps, screen captures and link to the bug is there. You can also integrate Testim with Slack, great way yo known when a bug is created. There are other integrations you can use that help's keeping tracking of the work performed on Testim. You can't select from a list of items, one random row for each test run, for example when recording the test you click on some name from a list or an option from a dropdown, once you select, it will always tries to select the same item next time, there is no option to next time it runs, choose another dropdown option, or selecto another name from the list. The fact that you can record, then go back and edit it to your preference and reuse the tests to save more time. And also group steps to declutter the flow. Then these steps can be shared with team members to svae even more time on their part an become more productive. So a Guild will become more productive with a team created steops base and can be easily corrected and edited for future use. Team Leads can spend time just revising and team member just feeding the steps to a general base for future use and benefit from all the time saving features this amazing tool provides.
