Tresorit allows me to hold the line on confidentiality without sacrificing ease of use. I work with high-stakes professionals who expect (and deserve) discretion at every touchpoint. Tresorit makes it possible to offer a seamless, modern experience while upholding the highest ethical and privacy standards. The fact that I can share documents, request signatures, and manage secure client portals, all in one encrypted space, means I don’t have to compromise my values to stay efficient. That’s rare. Their customer support has also been above and beyond anything I’ve experienced with other companies. I’ve never had a support team that’s as responsive, kind, and genuinely helpful. The only real friction point is the pricing structure, especially for solo practitioners or smaller teams who are trying to do the right thing on a limited budget. I’d love to see a tier that offers core Engage features with flexible add-ons—so more clinicians and consultants can move away from insecure platforms without being priced out of ethical tech. Tresorit is solving a problem most clinicians don’t realize we have—until we’re in the middle of it. In healthcare, especially in solo practice, we’re handed tools that technically check the compliance boxes but don’t actually protect our clients in the way we think they do. Many platforms claim to be “secure,” but behind the BAA is often a system where data can still be scanned, stored, or seen. I’ve lived through what can happen when that kind of access is misused—and I’ve built my practice to be the opposite of that. What Tresorit gives me is simple: a way to safely collect sensitive information from clients without compromising their privacy—or my ethics. I can offer them a secure, encrypted space to upload forms, sign documents, and come back to everything in one place. They’re not digging through their email. I’m not juggling systems. And most importantly, I can tell them, with confidence, that their information stays between us. No backdoor. No visibility. Not even Tresorit can see it. Tresorit has implemented end-to-end encryption, no eavesdropping by Tresorit or hackers - if they could ever enter. Swiss-based sounds like bank vault grade security. I'm a Mac user, and integration of Tresorit in Finder is excellent, better than Dropbox. Syncing is quick and inconspicuous. Their excellent app allows you to compartmentalize your data easily into Tresors, that each can live anywhere on your drive - not necessarily in one folder with subfolders. What do you dislike about Tresorit? Third-party integration is not as advanced as some of the big competitors, specifically when compared to Dropbox. If you rely on live collaboration with this sharing service, you're out of luck - the fact that they do end-to-end encryption excludes in-app live sharing as that would require them to decrypt the data on their servers.
