It happened in the past (many years go) that the Mac-Tresorit integration didn't look to me 100% ideal, but I noticed continuous improvements over time.. I have used Tresorit in my personal life and business to sync files between devices and for online backup, mainly as an alternative to Dropbox because it's cheaper. I really like the price, the good functionality, and how it serves as a solid alternative to the traditional big players in the industry. The company being incorporated in Switzerland and prioritizing customer data and privacy stands out to me. The app's nice, clean, and modern UI is also a plus, and I've never had any issues with it. I think that the overall data limit on the very basic plan is somewhat lacking. Someone might lack documents editor like in Google suite but that is very different product. I appreciate Tresorit's secure and generous storage offering that makes file sharing super simple, even for recipients who don't have an account with Tresorit. I love the ease of use and how non-intrusive it is—it’s just there when I need it, no drama involved. The setup was child's play, and I value the password-protected sharing with notifications when a link is opened. These features make it feel like what cloud storage should always have been. Expiry settings could be more customisable, for example to allow for time zone selection and also time selection (instead of only date). The best feature is that no account is needed on the side that needs to download the file. Also, 3rd parties can be given write access to cloud folders (by creating a free personal account first). I like Tresorit because of its strong end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge approach, which truly keeps my files private. I also appreciate the granular control over sharing, like setting passwords, expiration dates, and access levels for links, which gives real confidence when sending sensitive files. I really enjoy how intuitive and polished the interface is despite the advanced security features. Tresorit works especially well for collaboration, as shared folders and access controls are easy to manage without compromising privacy. The cross-platform support is reliable, allowing seamless access on desktop and mobile devices. I use Tresorit alongside other productivity and collaboration tools, and it works well in combination with office suites, storing and securely sharing exported or finalized documents. Tresorit’s strong security with end-to-end encryption and compliance features were key reasons our team switched from a more mainstream cloud storage service.
