Whether I'm pulling live data or historical trends, the system responds almost instantly, allowing me to stay focused on analysis rather than waiting on queries. One of the most powerful features is the ability to compare current operational parameters with previous years—and do so within seconds. While TrendMiner excels in many areas, one limitation I’ve encountered is its interface optimization for desktop environments. The platform is clearly designed with larger screens in mind, which makes it less practical to use on mobile devices or smaller tablets. TrendMiner is solving several key challenges in process monitoring and analysis, and it's made a noticeable impact on my day-to-day work. Quick visual access to operations: I can instantly see what's happening across all of our plants without digging through layers of data. The dashboards make it easy to spot trends, anomalies, and performance shifts at a glance, which helps me stay proactive rather than reactive. Fast historical data lookup: When issues arise, I can quickly jump back to specific dates and times—even years ago—to see what was happening operationally. This ability to overlay historical data with current conditions helps me identify patterns and root causes in seconds. Email alerts for critical issues: TrendMiner’s alerting system ensures I’m notified when something goes wrong. This has helped reduce downtime and improve response times, as I can act on problems before they escalate. I enjoy the speed with which TrendMiner provides the necessary information for data analysis, and I value how it facilitates viewing trends and generating graphs, which helps in process correction and loss minimization. Features like 'trendHub' and dashboards are extremely useful, and the ease of use, along with efficient support, make the experience very satisfying. I don't like some small display details, such as the lack of an option to change everything to black. Also, when you open a dashboard, I would prefer to view what is already done instead of first being given options to create a new dashboard, which would make the process a bit faster. The support team, the community, and the simplicity of the administrator setup and very rare need for troubleshooting. With any analytics platform, the use cases can get complicated quickly, but TrendMiner has extensive training documentation and we’ve built some of our own internally to complement that for our business. The upgrades are easier than any upgrade I’ve ever done, the troubleshooting is fantastic - I just send TrendMiner support my log files and they get back to me with a fix or a patch very quickly, but it’s very rare I’ve ran into issues.
