It is one of the best end-to-end security applications. You can customize inbound, and outbound mail security rules and the control panel is simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The update process sometimes gets stuck and it gets time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Trend catches things that can potentially be a virus. I love the self cleaning of the system once it's detected. Have not had any issues while Eve had this implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a whole lot to dislike. Sometimes there are false positives but it's so be expected if it's trying to do its job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initially, our organization utilized Trends on-premise solution. That solution was a great option and helped keep us safe from the general virus', but we were not using the full suite of tools. After moving from an on-premise service to Apex One, we found that we both reduced our risk and increased our ability to identify viruses and malware.
The transition from on-premise to Apex One SaaS was effortless and resulted in zero downtime to our end users. The services team at Trend was able to support us through the entire transition and, after the implementation was completed, were able to answer any operational questions as well.
One of the best parts of Apex One is the zero-day tools that are offered and those tool's ability to increase the protection of our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this point, there are no parts of Apex One that I dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The vulnerability Protection feature gives the time to test the security patches before deployment while keeping Endpoints safe. In addition being a user of Apex one and Officescan before that our environment has always been protected against arising threats. Another thing to admire is the timely support we receive from TrendMicro when needed. The ability to manage all policies from Apex Central on SAAS adds to the ease of use. False positives are relatively higher than average. The SAAS interface is a bit slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Apex One does do its job. It typically grabs the malicious file before another EDR does most of the time. There's a lot of options to navigate to in the Apex One portal GUI, which can be annoying, but once you understand where to go... it gets easier. When ticking an option, it doesn't take long for the function to occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Users complain how Trend is taking up a lot of resource causing slow downs on their work.
I never had issue with it, but other department did. Numerous testing does show Trend utilizing too much resource. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Trend Micro Apex One catches most viruses compared to other virus scanners. I've been using it for years now. I can see the progress that Trend has made over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many updates to do and you have to reboot for the changes to take place. Mostly likely you would have to wait until the weekend to install these patches espeically production machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is total security product, also protect the system from the rensome, it has dlp, encryption and antivirus with in the same product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Techinal support is very slow, also they do not have any local presence Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My company recently upgraded from an on-prem OfficeScan deployment to a SaaS ApexOne deployment. The upgrade went very smoothly and was pretty painless overall. We felt our Trend account manager and primary support contact were extremely responsive through the entire engagement and are very happy with the end result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had some issues at first figuring out where files were getting blocked/quarantined/cleaned from due to all the different modules and different areas to input exclusions (Real-time Scan, Scheduled Scan, Manual Scan, Scan Now, Behavior Monitoring). Also, my company has a number of inhouse developed apps and there was no quick and easy way to add them to the Trusted Programs list due to them not being signed. Love the SaaS and overall the product just works as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The GUI may be a little difficult to navigate. For instance, locating the excepts list for files and folders. I am the primary administrator that uses the product so no biggie for me, but non-regular users on my team, they almost always have a little trouble navigating higher level options.
