Trend allows us a lot of flexibility with manipulating back end features server side so as to get a good balance between what is secure and what is acceptable when it comes to performance degradation which we see with some anti-virus software. On our older machines, there is still a performance hit when running scans on machines. There was one real0time feature we had to turn off completely as it was affecting several of our machines all the time. Its not playing well with some of our Microsoft products. They are working on it, but their customer service dept is not the greatest at putting priority on some items. We had issues with Surfacebooks not going to sleep correctly and blue screening for months.
