## About Trello
Trello is a free product that works like the digital version of a sticky note. Capture your to-do's as cards on Trello and organize them into lists to stay on top of your tasks and deadlines no matter the undertaking—from planning a wedding to feeling organized at work. Trello is beloved by millions around the world for its easy-to-use, drag-and-drop interface that helps you visualize exactly what needs to get done. Trello lets you take to-do’s from wherever you’re working and consolidate them all into one place: 📩 If you get an email you need to follow up on, forward it to inbox@app.trello.com and it’ll turn into a Trello card that you can drag-and-drop to the right Trello board and add a due date. 🕸️ Download the Trello browser extension for Chrome to clip any aspect of a webpage as a Trello card. 💬 If you use apps like Slack, Teams, Jira or Loom in the workplace, Trello integrates with each to make it easy to capture content and centralize all your work tasks into a single unified view on Trello. 🤳 With Trello on your phone or tablet, you can use the app to create cards on Trello fast while on-the-go. Add a widget to your home screen on iOS or Android, make an “Add to Inbox” shortcut on iOS, or say “Siri, add a card to Trello.” You’ll find everything saved as new cards in your Trello Inbox, ready to be edited and organized onto any board when you’re ready. Add due dates, comments, checklists, and files to individual cards and use colors, labels, images and stickers to create a beautiful kanban board tailored to your needs. You can also add a Google or Outlook calendar account to easily see your entire schedule inside Trello. Drag-and-drop a Trello card onto the Trello Planner tab to block focus time on your calendar to get that task done. Sign up for free at trello.com/home.

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I like basically everything about Trello...it is the single most helpful thing I have found and I have searched and tried sooo many different things. I use it at work for my daily tasks and I also use it at home for a variety of different things. I use the free version both at work and home now, I used to have a paid version at work but not enough people were utilizing it so they cut it off, which I was really bummed about. I love looking at all the different templates and have gotten many ideas from them. I love all the different automation options there are and also how easy it is to get started and understand what all is available to you. I just love love love Trello and trust me you will too!

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The only thing I will say and it's not even really a dislike it's more of a personal problem of me not being tech savvy and being aware of all the different software that is out there. I found it confusing when going through and seeing what/if I wanted to link into Trello because there were so many options. Again not really a dislike since it is important to have all the things for all the different people but was just overwhelming to me.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to keep track of all my tasks (daily, recurring, non-recurring) in one place and get reminders so nothing is slipping through the cracks. I have become much less stressed at work and more productive as well

I use to administer it as well and it was bit of a pain integrating SSO with Microsoft Entra ID.

**Reviewed by:** Michelle N. | Founder/Freelance Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I loved the fact that it is so easy to use, so easy that my non-tech-savvy employees were able to use it and I didn't have to go behind them fixing mistakes. It is customizable so that I could use it on any project we were working on and not just one that was industry specific.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

There isn't anything negative I can say about Trello

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello benefits me as I can assign projects and not have to worry about the temps finding the documents or formats needed because I can attach everything they need to the card and they can just slide it to the finished column notifying me that the project is done - we don't have slow starts to projects because the temps don't know where to access their lists or me not being able to tell if the project I done or not

**Reviewed by:** Kathy F. | Operations, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

The set up and implementation took us just a few days for all sites and have not run into any issues at this time.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Would like notifications to when using through an integrated app, appear faster in that app or via email notification.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has help us to communicate through every aspect of a project and for divisions. Task management tools has allowed us to better understand time frame for certain projects that allow us to set the correct expectation not only for our clients, but for out staff.

 ### 17. Our Go-To Tool for Content Management and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Çağrı M. | Content Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello’s visual simplicity and flexibility are what I like best. It’s easy to organize tasks, move them across stages, and collaborate with my team. Whether I’m working on blog content, YouTube videos, or other marketing projects, Trello’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface allows for smooth management. I also appreciate the wide range of power-ups and integrations, especially with Google Drive and Slack, which help streamline our workflows. The ability to automate tasks using Butler is another huge time-saver for our team.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

While Trello excels at simplicity, it can feel limited when managing more complex projects. Features like detailed reporting, time tracking, and analytics are missing or require third-party integrations. It would also be helpful to have better task dependencies or Gantt chart functionality natively. Although there are workarounds with power-ups, these features could improve Trello’s utility for teams managing larger projects or requiring more detailed project management capabilities.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello makes it super easy to keep all our content projects organized in one place, which was a big problem before. We used to struggle with tracking progress and knowing who was responsible for what—especially when it came to managing blog posts, YouTube videos, and our overall content calendar. Now, everything’s laid out clearly on one dashboard, so the whole team can see what's going on.

It's really improved how we communicate and work together. We don’t miss deadlines anymore, and we can adjust to changes without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the automation tools like Butler save us a ton of time on repetitive stuff, so we can focus more on the actual content. Overall, it’s just made our workflow smoother and more efficient.

 ### 18. Easy to use and navigate, speeds up our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

So far I have not experienced any issues.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task tracking, workflow management, easy overview of the current status and easy to see if there are any bottlenecks.

 ### 28. Trello is a powerful task/project management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

 ### 30. Trello manages all of our story management - it's easy and quick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** neil f. | Executive Editor, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It's easy, and you can build a series of kanban boards (or other boards quickly). I like the ability to use it as a highly advanced, almost object-based to-do board. I can move projects and links around as I need.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I'm not sure - it's very easy to use. It's similar to a massive post-it note board that I can move around quickly and easily. I don't know what I don't like.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

#1 - it's starting to be a bit of a lead / follow-up board. We receive leads on people, subjects, businesses - we put them all into Trello. This is our primary list location for all future story tellers.
#2 - it is our action board, what we need to do on any given week. The other teammembers report their status here.
#3 - we are going to make it our social media calendar and also in theory, our podcast calendar. We are working out the logistics of that now.

**Reviewed by:** Srushti D. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Trello?**

What many people like best about Trello is its visual simplicity and flexibility. The Kanban-style boards make it easy to organize tasks, track project progress, and collaborate with team members in a highly visual way. Its drag-and-drop interface, along with customizable boards, cards, and lists, allows users to tailor Trello to their specific workflows. The platform also integrates with many third-party apps (like Slack, Google Drive, and Jira), which enhances productivity and streamlines project management.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Limited Advanced Features: Trello is great for simple task management but may lack advanced project management tools (like Gantt charts, time tracking, or advanced reporting) without third-party integrations.
Overwhelming for Large Projects: As projects grow in size, Trello boards can become cluttered and harder to manage.
Limited Customization for Cards: While customizable, cards may lack depth for handling complex tasks or workflows.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello solves the problem of task organization and team collaboration by offering an intuitive, visual way to manage workflows through boards, lists, and cards. It simplifies project management by making it easy to track progress, assign tasks, and set deadlines. This benefits users by providing a clear overview of tasks, increasing productivity, and fostering collaboration, especially for remote or distributed teams. It also reduces miscommunication by centralizing project details and updates in one place, ensuring everyone stays aligned.
