It definitely helped with productivity and making sure we understood how to keep all parties updated on all projects from the client to the projects team, to the director to affiliates. We had found Trello made it so we were all aware of what, when, and how the projects were and every event along the way. This increased the transparency of our establishment with customers converting them to long contributing clients and also educated the project manager and project team on new innovative ways to keep track and inform one another without double posting or wrongfully dismantling posts and content not meant to be dismantled. The automation settings and collab features were not really up to par at the time but I have seen and used Trello since then for personal use and have found that these were just setbacks for the earlier launch of the program. Overall productivity issues were heavily resolved in the manner of keeping teams communicating, keeping clients updated. We also were finding innovative hacks to achieve these things a lot easier. If you set up everything correctly with all the right triggers and actions, you can automate a lot of manual work that saves time for you and your team. If you don't have everything set up just perfectly, then the Bot either won' t recognize the action you're wanting it to complete or it will complete the action incorrectly, which creates more manual work for you. I like the ability to connect an email conversation to an existing Trello card or creating a new Trello card directly from Front. Having Trello cards connected to email threads makes referring back to discussions about jobs super easy. It also allows me to research communication information about other assignments. I also like being able to connect multiple trello cards to one email thread. This is very helpful when an email thread has information pertaining to multiple jobs. I don't appreciate when a Front conversation is archived, the Trello link becomes broken, and I can't find the linked email thread. With older jobs, if I am researching something, it can be vital for me to see the original email thread, but Trello can't find the conversation. Another inconvenience is when trying to connect an existing Trello card to an email thread. Sometimes Front has a hard time recognizing Trello card names so you have to try different words within the title before Front can find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What I like best about this application is that I am able to add all my Trello actions from within Slack without having to switch applications which can be really annoying, this feature is really cool and is beneficial especial if you want to write down important stuff and to-do thing immediately without forgetting. Trello Bot (or some of its other AI counterparts, like Butler) do a great job of automating + reminding you and your colleagues of previous tasks -- and removing them from view when no longer necessary. I think in general Trello is challenging to search for past cards, I find myself putting in a lot of time to figure out what I have completed, frequently because I don't have the foresight + energy to automate + organize as things are happening.
