Central to its capability is Trellix Wise, a built-in generative AI engine that automates complex forensics, triage, and threat investigations. Wise leverages specialized AI agents to turn cryptic telemetry into plain-language narratives, draft automated remediation steps, and prioritize high-fidelity alerts. This reduces Mean Time to Detect and Respond (MTTD/MTTR) by 50%. Trellix NDR runs advanced machine learning and Trellix Wise workflows locally in air-gapped environments. We are able to protect our virtual machines from malicious activities or attacks using McAfee Virtual Network Security software. **What do you dislike about Trellix Network Detection and Response (NDR)?** This software is by no means the best on the market. I'm not really a fan of any of the McAfee suite. In my experience, the software generally provides subpar protection and slows down your computer/VM/network. **What problems is Trellix Network Detection and Response (NDR) solving and how is that benefiting you?** McAfee's software does what it says on the tin. It protects our virtual machines from malicious activities and attacks. The cost is about industry average, but the performance is par or subpar. ### 2.
