What do you dislike about Travelport+?

While Travelport+ has made progress in several areas,

I still experience occasional system slowdowns, and some features seem less responsive, especially during peak usage periods. Additionally, certain workflows, such as modifying complex itineraries, can feel cumbersome and involve too many steps. It would also be beneficial to have more customization options and faster access to specific fare details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Travelport Automated Exchanges: Fast, Accurate Reissues That Save Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Travelport+?

Travelport’s Automated Exchanges are extremely helpful because they save time, reduce errors, and make complex reissues much easier. The system automatically calculates fare differences and penalties, giving a clear and accurate result within seconds Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

Some airlines or fare types are not supported, so agents still need to do manual exchanges.

This breaks the workflow and wastes time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"outstanding"
5/5
What do you like best about Travelport+?

Travelport is known for aggregating travel content across airlines, hotels, car rentals, and more, which makes it incredibly valuable for travel agencies and corporate travel managers. It provides access to both traditional (GDS) and modern (NDC) content in a unified interface

Modernized Retailing Focus

Their "Travelport+ platform" emphasizes modern retailing, with a big focus on:

Personalized offers

Branded fares

Rich content and merchandising

This makes it easier for travel sellers to upsell and for travelers to see better, more relevant options.

Travelport offers robust APIs and supports integration through platforms like Travelport Developer Hub. For tech teams, this flexibility is crucial for building modern travel apps or embedding travel booking capabilities into existing systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

Limited or inconsistent NDC content: While Travelport+ supports NDC (New Distribution Capability), the content available varies by airline, and some users feel that it’s not yet comprehensive.

Not all features are parity with traditional GDS content, which causes frustration for agents needing full functionality

Inconsistent support: Some users feel Travelport’s support isn't always responsive or well-coordinated during critical issues.

Change communication: Rapid changes in features or interface updates can catch users off-guard without sufficient notice or documentation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TRAVEL PORT"
5/5
What do you like best about Travelport+?

When I began my career, I started out using Galileo. My seniors used to say that if you learn Galileo first, you’ll be able to handle any system. I find Travelport to be very user-friendly. The process for handling reissues is straightforward, and you can easily understand the reasoning behind every reissue or refund.

Compared to OTHER GDS , Ability to work in multiple windows in one frame . which is very useful to compare . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

One issue I've noticed is that updates, especially regarding fare rules, can be slower at times. While Sabre can be accessed through a web-based platform, Travelport requires the use of an application. This becomes problematic when the internet connection is slow, as it causes the ticketing process to become sluggish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"EASY AND USEFUL"
5/5
What do you like best about Travelport+?

Wide connectivity & content breadth

Because of its GDS heritage and integrations, Travelport gives access to a vast inventory of airlines, hotels, car rental, etc. Many agencies rely on that wide reach and consolidated connectivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

User Interface / Experience issues

Customers and agents sometimes complain that interfaces are overloaded: too many options, too many ads, too much fine‑print or unclear wording in offers. This can increase decision fatigue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Modern Platform for Travel Agents"
4/5
What do you like best about Travelport+?

I’ve been using Travelport+ for quite some time, and overall, it’s been a very good experience. The system is fast, user-friendly, and much more modern compared to the older GDS versions(viewpoint). The interface is clean, and it’s easy to find fares, check schedules, and issue tickets quickly. One of the best things is how smoothly it handles ancillaries and branded fares — everything is available in one place.

Travelport+ efficient, reliable, and definitely designed with agents in mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

Occasionally, there are small lags or updates that require some adjustment, but overall, the Travelport support team is helpful and quick to respond whenever any issues arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
