The visual design of the product is nice, but unfortunately the actual product is really unusable and regularly causes issues booking. Concierge / Support is super friendly, but has not been able to assist me with most of the issues I've gone to them with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Travelperk is a very challenging, frustrating product for travelers. If your organization is considering it, make sure to do a robust POC to observe any issues you may have with booking. I understand that it makes life easier for finance teams, but it regularly adds complexity & work to me as the traveler in managing bookings via their non-functioning platform.
Here are a few recent examples of issues I've had using Travelperk, all from the last 3 months:
1. Unable to add bags: regularly have strange itineraries with checked bags, e.g. checked bag on one leg of trip but not others. Recently needed a checked bag. Wasn’t able to add one when booking. Worked with Concierge to have them add one manually. They said they added one. Showed up to the airport, they had not added one. Was flying easyjet, so no customer service at the airport, took an hour of waiting & searching in the airport to find a human who could assist me in adding a bag.
2. Boarding passes: because they use a “reserrvations@travelperk.com” email address to manage bookings, I was never sent a boarding pass for my 2nd flight by email or SMS. I could not access one on the airport website. Again used concierge to help me get the boarding pass I needed, but they weren’t able to access it either. I ended up again having to find staff at the airport to get my boarding pass.
3. Wrong hotel date bug: booked the wrong hotel dates because when I add a hotel to an existing travel itinerary, the dates selected are the wrong month. If you try and add a hotel to an existing travel itinerary, it'll force you to book a hotel a month in advance. Needed to manually go through Concierge to get a booking.
4. Approval glitch: regularly get stuck in loops where I select a flight for approval, and have my manager immediately go into approve it, but the itinerary is no longer available within 2-3 min of me asking for approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Update: Their team has reached out to me but did nothing to research or respond to any of my issues. I've clarified that the app makes me feel like it's a scam not that TravelPerk is a scam. That's for others to decide.
This app makes you feel like TravelPerk is just a scam. They promote as a digital solution but the app and website barely work. Have to go search airline websites to find what I want and then reach out to customer service to book manually because they don't show those fares. Tons of issues when you arrive at the hotel because the credit card isnt accepted. When you reach out to support the support is slow and their solution is to do everything for you versus fix the app. They are way in over their head and it shows. Just read the reviews of the app on Google Play. Works great for corporate travel managers but just pisses off employees. I've used many travel booking sites and this is the worst ever. TravelPerk allows employees of organizations to search for and book business-related transportation (flights, trains, rental cars) as well as accommodations, and to even book it with business payment methods (corporate card) and make it easy on the back-end to have the billing/payment shared with an organization's accounting department. It's a pretty comprehensive business travel solution for organizations with employees that often need to travel domestically or internationally and allows operations people to set cost limits so cost-effective booking is easy for staff. Unfortunately, because TravelPerk does try to do so much, it has several drawbacks to its user interface and particularly the 'Concierge' feature for more complex trip bookings. With Concierge in particular, the customer service representatives often are not able to adequately make the necessary adjustments or reach out to hotel/airline representatives in a timely manner.The approvals process that is required on the backend also causes delays, which means prices or availability for flights, trains, and hotels often changes between a user booking and the actual approval/payment. This lag in timing (and inability of TravelPerk representatives to lock in prices at the time of booking) is a big drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As we endeavored to streamline our business credit cards, transitioning to Divvy (now Bill Spend & Expense), integrating TravelPerk proved effortlessly seamless. Notably, TravelPerk seamlessly integrates, enabling the accumulation of points redeemable for travel credits. The implementation phase was remarkably smooth, and as a result, all our travel bookings now exclusively run through TravelPerk. This platform consolidates comprehensive travel information in one convenient location, encompassing details like flights, lodging, and car rentals for anyone on the move. We've encountered a few instances where our preferred lodging or airfare options weren't available through TravelPerk. Additionally, when booking through the platform, the absence of an option to secure refundable flights has posed a challenge. Consequently, we've had to resort to cancellations, receiving credits with various airlines instead. Business travel couldn't be easier thanks to this amazing platform with industry leading inventory. Setting it up is easy, its features exceptional for travel and expense management. Since we implemented it for use by our staff out on installations and client meetings, its been wow! The user support absolutely superb as well.
