I was able to meet with my team and book flights that worked for all of us even though we are flying in from different states. The flights we chose shared legs and it made it super simple and fast. I also really enjoy the flexibility of the hotels and being able to choose the ones closest to my destination. Having flight, hotel, and rental car all in one location has made this beyond convenient and has really excited our team to be able to travel together once again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about TravelBank? I accidentally booked the wrong hotel type and needed to change my reservation. I wish it was easier to modify rooms and get them switched to the pay now version. I had to chat with customer support in order to cancel after it has been approved. Customer support was super sweet though and the problem was resolved in minutes. I just wish there were options to cancel it without having to chat with support. Recommendations to others considering TravelBank: I recommend that if you're travelling with multiple people, get them on a call and work through it together so you can all see the same information in real time. It was super simple to book flights from multiple states since we're all working remotely now. The options for different flights really helped connect our team members to share the travelling experience together and not have to suffer through it alone. I mainly use TravelBank for the expense reimbursement feature. The interface is simple and straightforward. There are also other fields/categories that I can use for my expense requests. These include travel, mileage. The customer service rep I spoke with, Andrew, was very easy to work with and to understand. My issue was that my account was not linking to my company's domain, so I could not add a reimbursement account to my TravelBank account. Andrew was efficient and helped solve my problem without me having to jump through multiple hoops to get there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about TravelBank? While I've only been using TravelBank for a month, I haven't noticed anything I dislike about it. I mainly use it for reimbursements on the expenses feature but from what I can tell, the other features share the same straightforward ease. Logging in to the application and the home screen is clear. The navigation menu and options are all clear as well. The only minor thing of note is that customer service isn't available on the weekends. However, they are incredibly responsive on the weekdays and will get back to you first thing in the morning on Monday if you leave a note about your issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering TravelBank: I highly recommend trying it out. TravelBank will definitely save you a lot of time and paperwork. It saves me the hassle and headache of getting my expenses reimbursed. I think it's free to use if your company doesn't have a good expense reimbursement system in place. The benefit of using TravelBank includes having an easy way to get reimbursed for company expenses without going through multiple prompts/paperwork to get it processed. I have monthly expenses that I need to get processed for reimbursement and at previously companies I've worked for, this involved quite a few forms. With TravelBank, it's a one stop shop where I can just create a new expense, upload my bill/receipt, log the amount, and then log it to a certain report. The expense categories are preloaded with account numbers from my company which makes it easy to see what I should be filing my expense under and prevents any mishaps that could occur through incorrect channels/wrong checkboxes. The chat function has proven to be very helpful as I've needed to make adjustments to upcoming travel plans. It has been great in reducing the stress around travel plans. When the service ran into an issue, they promptly sent an email notifying me of the problem and informing me that it did not have a real effect on my travel plans. The rental car booking for my next trip doesn't show up; a quick ask in the chat and a rep pointed me toward it, but having it immediately available alongside my flight and hotel reservations on the home page would be great. Along those same lines I would like to see the car rental options displayed or organized in a different way. Something with few repetitions or a more comprehensive filtering tool. Easy setup for new employees, if you cannot help them with their issues the support staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help with no problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about TravelBank? The only thing that is not very user friendly is when you go to search for one particular receipt that someone turned in, you cannot search for specific dates on the receipt and specifially what expense it is. It would be easiest if you could search for one date, for one expense, for one employee without having to search through every report they have ever sent in to search for one particular receipt. You have to export an excel spreadsheet to look through employee's expenses easily, but you cannot do only one employee, you have to do every single person in one spreadsheet. It would be easier if you could make a spreadsheet for each person separately and it would be even greater if it was in date order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Helping employees submit expenses is not easy unless you are there with them to help explain, I am extremely thankful for the support staff being more equipped to help the employees with their issues when I am unable to resolve them. Our employees are around the state, and it is easy for them to send receipts on this app than in the mail! Andrew assisting us when any employee has a question. If I can't answer the questions, the employees have I send them to chat with us for them to assist better. What do you dislike about TravelBank? I am having to do a spreadsheet for the entire company then selecting individual employees to create one spreadsheet per employee or to search by expenses during a specific time frame. If I could search for one particular person for the entire year, the gas or mileage would be much easier to use. I want to be able to see all receipts at the same time instead of clicking on each report to search for one thing and keep going to different reports until I can find what I am looking for. Recommendations to others considering TravelBank: if you do not want to keep track of hundreds of receipts every month this is the easiest way to go. you can keep the receipts on the website and not have to keep up with the hard copy of the receipt. It helps me keep track of receipts from employees that aren't in office everyday. Instead of employees keeping up with little receipts they can submit them through Travel Bank and they can throw them away as soon as the report has been approved by the administrator. It only takes a few minutes to edit and approve every receipt we get from the 25+ employees that we have in our company.
