The people and the advisory process. The team has been thoughtful, practical, and genuinely invested in helping us improve over time. They took the time to understand our business, our clients’ expectations, etc, then helped guide us toward the right priorities, services, and solutions. The guidance has always felt pragmatic and tailored rather than formulaic. I should say though that their platform and tools for analysis/assessment and ongoing monitoring are also very well designed, intuitive, straightforward to use, and still deep enough to provide meaningful visibility into progress and risk areas. There are some particular consulting services that I wish they had for lower cost or provided in a different tiered way for our business, but from what I gathered they provide the services I'm referring to at a very reasonable rate for the market, it was just more than we were able to take on. Their combination of advisory and well-designed tools has been genuinely valuable for us. What problems is Trava Security solving and how is that benefiting you? Trava has helped us take a very structured and proactive approach to security, privacy, and compliance. They’ve helped us identify gaps, prioritize improvements, strengthen policies and operational practices, and build a realistic long-term roadmap for improving our overall security posture that meets our clients' high standards. The vCISO guidance and quarterly reviews we've received have been especially valuable because they’ve helped us think strategically about security rather than just reacting to client requests or compliance requirements as they arise. Their platform for assessment/analytics and monitoring have also been very helpful and intuitive to use. We've also used their penetration testing program and that team has done a more thorough job than any firm I've worked with - very detailed in terms of findings and proposed solutions, and really attentive/responsive during the remediation process. The platform is straightforward and clearly built to help us navigate our security and compliance journey, but honestly, it’s the team behind it that's worth the premium we paid. They’re quick to respond, explain things without drowning you in jargon, and think ahead so you don’t hit roadblocks. It truly feels like a well-thought-out and comprehensive experience. Every other solution or competitor we looked at would have required my team to decode the maze of SOC 2 compliance, which honestly feels like navigating the U.S. tax code. If you have the time, there are probably cheaper options out there… but for us, there’s no way we could have accomplished this ourselves without adding another year to the process. All the while, we’d still be trying to run the business, and I doubt we’d have the same level of governance and security we’re now building in to truly future-proof ourselves against threats. With some of those other solutions, it feels like we would have ended up just “checking the box” instead of building the strong, lasting foundation Trava is helping us create. We’re going through SOC 2 prep at Moonnox, and Trava has basically taken what could have been a chaotic, stressful process and turned it into something clear and manageable. Our Security Advisor, Kaitlin Zanoni, along with the rest of the Trava leadership team, have been going above and beyond...ensuring we’re set up not only for certification success, but also for embedding true governance processes into our organization. This is enabling us to scale and show our customers and investors that we’re building future-proof infrastructures for long-term growth. They’ve not only provided us with a roadmap, but are shepherding us through each step, giving us seamless tools to track everything, and the guidance to make sure we’re doing it right.
