## About Transifex
XTM Transifex offers AI-powered, continuous localization designed for translating your software, website, apps, and other digital touchpoints. It serves as a comprehensive solution for product, engineering, marketing, and localization teams, enabling the translation and updating of software interfaces, websites, and digital content in real-time as changes occur. By integrating localization into the development and content creation processes, Transifex eliminates the traditional batch-based approach, allowing for a more streamlined and efficient workflow. The platform is particularly beneficial for organizations that manage frequently changing software and web content, such as application user interfaces, marketing websites, customer-facing portals, and online documentation. Traditional localization methods often involve manual file exports and delayed translation cycles, which can lead to discrepancies between translated content and the source updates. XTM Transifex addresses these challenges by automating content synchronization, enabling near real-time delivery of translations, and ensuring that localization keeps pace with ongoing development. For software localization, XTM Transifex integrates seamlessly with code repositories and development workflows. This integration allows new or updated strings to be automatically sent for translation and returned without manual intervention, supporting agile and continuous release cycles. This capability significantly reduces the operational burden on engineering teams, allowing them to focus on development rather than localisation logistics. In the realm of website and marketing localisation, Transifex connects with various content management systems and web frameworks, simplifying the translation of web pages, navigation, metadata, and customer-facing copy. This functionality is particularly advantageous for marketing teams that require rapid multilingual updates to maintain consistency across different markets. The platform’s ability to facilitate quick publishing of translated content ensures that organisations can effectively engage with diverse audiences without delay. XTM Transifex also offers robust collaboration features that enhance the localisation process. These include translation memory, terminology management, and review workflows, which support translators, reviewers, and localisation managers in maintaining linguistic consistency and quality across both technical and marketing content. By providing these tools, XTM Transifex enables teams to operate efficiently while ensuring high standards in their translations. As part of the broader XTM localization platform, Transifex allows organizations to combine continuous localization with translation management and visual context tools when necessary. ## Transifex Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Expansion with Transifex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cara G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I find Transifex extremely simple to use, even for a non-developer. Transifex made it easy and quick to translate our platform from English to Greek, which means we can expand our business overseas. It helped our business grow in other countries because it's easy to connect to our platform. I appreciate how we can translate with a touch of a button, finishing translations in under 2 hours, giving us more time. The initial setup was very easy and didn't take long at all.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

It would be great to have different languages for the same countries. Example is in Greece depending on where you are there can be multiple meanings for one word.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex reduces our need to use Google for translation or hire multilingual staff. It lets us translate quickly with a touch of a button, taking under 2 hours, making it easy to expand our business overseas. It’s simple and quick to use, even for non-developers.

  ### 2. Powerful Localization: Multi-Language Support, Translation Memory, and Flexible Placeholders

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It supports many different languages, and I can review translations before they’re added to the product. It also works with a variety of placeholder styles, which makes it easier to hook into different codebases. I like that it supports machine translation as well as human translators so I can get preliminary translations quickly. Translation memory is also useful for keeping translations consistent.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The user interface is a little hard to navigate. Features are difficult to locate, thankfully there is a support team that is helpful and they provide screenshots of where items are located.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex helps solve the challenge of translating strings from English into other languages so they can be displayed correctly within the product. The machine translation saves time from copy pasting translations manually from something like Google Translate.

  ### 3. Useful for Translation, but Integrations and User and Group Management to Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas C. | Product Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Transifex allows us to store all our translations in one place and ensures that the translation complies with the existing glossary. The translation memory is very useful because it prevents redundant phrases from being retranslated, saving us translation costs and time. It also helps maintain consistent translation throughout the content.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The management of users and user groups is not well thought out in my opinion. The integration with other tools seems improvable. The management of the glossary via API is partial.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex allows storing all content in the same place, ensuring compliance with glossaries, and obtaining faster translations thanks to translation memory, which reduces costs and time.

  ### 4. Powerful Search Filters and AI Translations That Cut Our Workload

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I really like the options to filter my searches for specific strings and I also appreciate the history and suggestions. Recently we have been incorporating AI translations which has basically halfed the workload, since they are accurate for the most part and just need a quick review.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

A downside would be that we have experienced bugs several times such as projects appearing in the queue despite of everything being proofread. Also, we've had the issue where double the amount of strings appear in the queue, but once you complete a certain amount of proofreading they disappear because the number was probably just incorrect.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that the most helpful tool as of now has been the AI translations for us as they really support our daily workflow.

  ### 5. Easy to Use and Adaptable Across Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff C. | Localization Account Executive., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What surprised me most about this tool is how easy it is to use. Plus, it adapts well to different types of projects, which really helps speed up the work.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

However, because it relies heavily on the internet, there can be drawbacks at times.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The truth is, it’s been quite powerful for content translation. We can work as a team in real time, which makes the work much easier and speeds things up. It’s helped us resolve doubts in the most effective and efficient way possible, and its glossary and translation memory help prevent repetitive phrases and reduce errors in translations.

  ### 6. Flawless, Consistent Translations That Speed Up Our Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renato M. | Global Content Manager., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What I love most about Transifex is that the translations come out flawless and consistent across all languages. I also appreciate how it instantly detects errors and prevents duplicates. This has truly been a game changer and has sped up the translation process immensely.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Just a couple of things: the mobile app function needs a bit more polishing, and when I work with documents that contain massive amounts of information, the tool starts to lag. That’s all.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been a super efficient tool. No more chaos from lost or scattered files, or from errors and duplicates. Transifex delivers cleaner, more polished translations, and it has saved me hours of manual revisions thanks to its near-perfect results.

  ### 7. Intuitive Localization with Room for Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I like that Transifex is easy to use and straightforward. It's to the point and pretty self-explanatory. You don't need in-depth training to use it properly.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I struggle a little bit to understand where localization and strings appear on the actual website. There is a context given, but in cases where a string is used in multiple LPs, it's not clear where exactly the content will appear. Giving a perspective there would definitely be helpful.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex helps us update our offerings according to local needs and localize our content. It's easy to use and straightforward, so we don't need in-depth training to use it.

  ### 8. Streamlines Translation with Ease and Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreza D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I like having the history, the glossary, and how translators can put in their questions and other translators can see the answers. Collaboration is very easy. I like how you can add translators and reviewers and have specific roles. That works well.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I think adding a context for the strings could be better. It could be easier to insert images into strings and just maybe even some AI feature that would help getting the context based on the source so translators know better what they are translating.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Transifex to easily adjust website languages during updates, saving time and effort by avoiding manual translations.

  ### 9. Intuitive Localization Platform That Makes Team Translation Fast and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Great localization platform with an intuitive interface and strong collaboration features. It makes managing translations across teams fast and efficient, especially with its automation and integrations.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Pricing can feel high for smaller teams, and some advanced features have a bit of a learning curve. The UI, while generally good, can occasionally feel cluttered when managing large projects.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, that means way less manual work and fewer mistakes. I don’t have to chase updates or worry about things getting out of date. It also speeds things up a lot—translations happen alongside development instead of slowing everything down.

  ### 10. Seamless Translation Memory and Great Mobile App, but Pricey with Occasional Lag

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabo C. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It’s amazing how the extensive translation memory keeps everything clean and integrates seamlessly, without a steep learning curve. The mobile app is fantastic, and it works perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The free trial is quite limited; even so, you still have to pay for the premium version, which isn’t the cheapest on the market. I also notice occasional lag when working with large documents.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been a pro tool for me: it centralizes everything, with excellent translation quality and strong multilingual support. It has completely eliminated errors, and the translations are now much cleaner and more consistent.

  ### 11. Fast, Robust Integrations That Eliminate Manual File Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos H. | Localization Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I was genuinely surprised by how fast the platform is. It let me stop worrying about manual file management, which used to take up most of my time every day. The integration is also one of the most robust I’ve ever tried.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The only downside is that the interface slows down a bit when handling very large volumes of data. Otherwise, it works perfectly.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best thing about Transifex is that it took the burden off my shoulders of constantly moving files around. The translations come out cleaner and, above all, we’ve managed to get all the content speaking the same language without any manual effort.

  ### 12. Transifex Speeds Up Translations and Keeps Localization Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Backend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Transifex is really helpful for building a reliable system that needs translations quickly, and it makes it easier to create products without getting slowed down by creating a in house translation process.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Sometimes it’s easy to get lost among all the labels and languages, but with the tag system I’m able to keep everything organized and easier to find.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a reliable way to support translations in our system, and Transifex provided everything we needed. The implementation was also pretty quick, and it was easy to understand.

  ### 13. Time-Saving Automation and Translation Memory That Streamline Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan U. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

One of the things I like most is how it automates the work. On top of that, the translation memory has eliminated the huge hassle of manually checking everything, which saves me a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The mobile interface is poor—it's subpar and feels like a mess. On top of that, the notifications are annoying and end up overwhelming my inbox with alerts.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Transifex, I wasted a lot of time—maybe even weeks—on translations. With this tool, the process is much faster, and everything is centralized in one place. The translations are flawless.

  ### 14. User-Friendly with Wide Language Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian O. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I like Transifex for its user interface and the number of languages supported. Since we run clinical trials globally, it's crucial for us to support various dialects of languages, and Transifex has broad support for those.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I find that while we can use the artificial intelligence features in Transifex, it still requires human review, so it's not entirely automated.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex helps us translate content for clinical trials globally and review translations (human-in-the-loop) before they go live.

  ### 15. Easy Translation and Good Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elise T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I find the integration of Transifex pretty easy to use for our customers. We appreciate that we've had good CSM support. The translation functionality is particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

It was difficult when our CSM transitioned out of Transifex. We didn't necessarily have anybody specific to go to, and it took a couple months to get us back on track with that. We're back on track, now.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Transifex to easily translate our customer content into different languages.

  ### 16. Intuitive and Efficient with Minor Manual Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** August F. | Marketing Strategic Initiatives & Ops, Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I find Transifex easy to use and intuitive. I appreciate the available APIs and AI integrations. These features are core elements that enhance any software's value, contributing to increased efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Some manual aspects, particularly having to click each string of text to be translated.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Transifex for localizing marketing materials. It increases efficiency due to its easy-to-use interface, available APIs, and AI integrations.

  ### 17. Automated Translation That Keeps Workflows Consistent and Cuts Errors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susana S. | Technical Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What I like most is the automated translation, because it supports a consistent workflow and helps reduce errors in a more proportional, predictable way.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

For small teams, the cost of this tool can feel high, and it also takes time to get comfortable with the interface and learn how to use it effectively.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has greatly simplified my work by centralizing everything in one place. Now I don’t have to depend on others to correct errors, which has sped up my response times and saved me a significant amount of time throughout the workday.

  ### 18. Modern UI, Handy API, and Smooth Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The UI is modern, it offers API and many teams can collaborate easily

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The inability to delete keys this has been a plague on our team, not sure if it is a permissions issue or otherwise but it would help to know.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi language translations and many teams collaborating, tech, content, design, product

  ### 19. Powerful Integrations That Centralize Work and Save Hours

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josue M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What I liked most were its integration capabilities. It’s great because it centralizes everything in one place and saves us many hours of manual work.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The main downside is configuring the .yaml files—it takes a lot of time and can end up being a fairly slow, drawn-out process.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this tool, we’ve eliminated interpretation errors. It’s helped us ensure that all content is coherent and consistent across every platform we manage.

  ### 20. Transifex has made our localisation process a lot more efficient and streamlined.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siam S. | Global Research Lead , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The main positive is how much more efficient it is for localising copy compared to our old process. Transifex allows us to manage all translations in one place. The visibility of the progress of these tasks is also really useful.

The user interface is intuitive for translators, with in-context string previews and glossary/translation memory support. It’s also easy to leave comments or flag issues, which keeps quality high.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

We’ve seen occasional syncing issues or delays, particularly with complex integrations or larger updates, which can slow down deployment of our translations.

I also think the on-boarding of the tool to new users could be improved.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We operate in numerous markets which all require localisation when we make updates to our platform, the content we produce and in our CRM. Transifex has definitely helped us do these things more quickly.

  ### 21. Clean UI/UX That Makes Everything Easy to Find

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignacio N. | Staff SRE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It's easy to find what I'm looking for, clean UI/UX

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Mostly perfomance, while the UI is on a good place, I've noticed slowdowns at times.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralises our translations need and provides a good API we can easily integrate with our own system.

  ### 22. Very helpful platform for day-to-day work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo G. | Social Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It’s a fast way to handle translations for my tasks.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

This platform isn’t very user-friendly. It could definitely be better.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My job involves global operations, and we need to do translations every day, so this platform is very helpful for us.

  ### 23. Remembers Translations for Faster, Dynamic Reuse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

If we use the same translated sentence again, it will remember and automatically translate it. It is also possible to add variables that won't be translated but make the sentence dynamic

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

If same word can be translated in different ways depending on the context, we can't do anything about that and have to find a way to bypass this issue

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we don't need to keep a list of translations in our project

  ### 24. Impressive Live Website Translation Automation, But Pricing Feels Steep

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I’m really impressed with its automation. The best part is the ability to translate live directly from the website—it’s an excellent feature.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The main downside is the high cost of their payment plans; it’s not the cheapest option. On top of that, access to the advanced glossaries requires a more expensive plan.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve stopped worrying about spelling mistakes—Transifex fixes everything. The translations are better, there are fewer errors, and everything stays in the same tone of voice. It’s an excellent tool, although it’s quite expensive.

  ### 25. Nuanced Human Translations, But Cost and Turnaround Can Be a Hurdle

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Human translation can find more nuanced errors that automatic translations

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The cost and time to get translations returned

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translates all our production applications wording to over a dozen languages

  ### 26. I love the efficient and intuitive localization tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarek M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I liked that its a robust product and makes managing localization projects easier. I love being able to see translations in context, its notification system, and how it streamline the workflow.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I dont like that the price is high and limits access to tools like advanced translation and detailed information.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a great help in translation management, and computer-assisted translation is a feature that allows us to centralize all content and work efficiently. Being a localization software, everything works faster and is much better. The quality of all our translations has improved.

  ### 27. Essential for managing our multilingual projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim T. | Localization Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I like that it integrates with our code, which means text strings are automatically sent for translation, so no more files or emails. Plus, its not just about translating words, it adapts to the idea and strategy. Thats what I liked most about Transifex.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The initial setup is complex, and the price increases with use. These are things I didnt like.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its fantastic becuase it transformed our localization process from a manual one to a different, efficient system, and it gave us time to train in marketing strategy instead of translation logisitcs. Its truly impressive. Transifex is working well, and I hope it continues to do so.

  ### 28. With Transifex you don't have to think at all about translations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It's easy to integrate and to use. In our app we just create copies in the English language and then sync it with Transifex. The files for other languages we support the app in is added by us after receiving it from Transifex and that's all we have to do. The customer support is also great in helping out with any adjustments, improvements or changes. For example we had an issue with some translations getting to long and by providing a character limit we don't have to think how other translations can fit into Buttons or Views, Transifex keeps certain sizes and lengths into account and provides us with the best translation within the given requirements.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Sometimes it's very hard to provide context for translations since it's a very specific e.g. button title so in order to get the context right in all languages it would be nice to be able to upload screenshots etc. The best we can do at the moment is to provide text context in a Note.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One issue we also have is length of text in languages we are not native in. For example the German and Russian language sometimes brings problems about how much text can fit into e.g. a Button, but with Transifex we can create a blueprint in English of what we want and we can provide them with all the info so other languages would never be cut off or stretching across the View.

Another thing I like is that we can give suggestions to the Translators directly and we can also make comments on a translated text by them. That way we can still tweak translations if we're not fully happy with it very early in the process and therefore we won't have issues with last minute changes.

Also from an administrational perspective Transifex is just very easy to use and understand. I got a small introduction for around like 5-10 minutes to how Transifex works and where I can access translations and I never needed more context or explanations. From then on everything was just clear.

  ### 29. Powerful but a little bit slow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ioannis M. | Content Editor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

All languages are found in a single view. Back and forth between locales is seamless.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Longer strings cause Transifex to crash, and it is difficult to understand how to use different integrations

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only need to provide the new content guy with his credentials during the localization process. All strings have been uploaded by HQ and the only thing left for the new guy is to review the strings.

  ### 30. Transifex review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What I like best about Transifex is how easy it is to use. The interface is clean and simple, so getting started doesn't take much effort. Setting it up was pretty smooth too, thanks to the clear documentation and wide file format support. We use it regularly, and it’s become a key part of our translation workflow. The platform has all the features we need, like translation memory, glossaries, and collaboration tools, which really help keep things organized.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

One thing I find a bit frustrating about Transifex is that some of the advanced features aren’t as customizable as we’d like, especially when working with specific workflows or user permissions. The UI, while generally easy to use, can feel a little clunky at times when managing larger projects or switching between languages. Also, the pricing can be a bit steep depending on your usage and team size. It would be great to have more flexibility in how plans scale.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex helps us manage translations across multiple languages and teams without the chaos of spreadsheets or manual tracking. It keeps everything organized in one place, so we can easily upload content, assign translations, and review progress in real time. The translation memory and glossary features help maintain consistency. Overall, it’s made our localization workflow way more efficient and scalable.

  ### 31. Overall good experience but it can be imporoved in several sections

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The fact that it is cloud based. You don't need to install anything and it is accesible from everywhere.
It supports multiple file formats.
It integrates with many Development Tools (Github, Gitlab etc.).
Machine translation and AI assistance so it is up to the new trends. Also saves you time and money if you don't want to use human reviewer.
It supports both web apps and mobile applications.
Also it has version history so you can revert to a previous one if needed.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The big minus is the pricing which can be very expensive.
The UI isn’t always intuitive for beginners, and setup can be complex. Also the SDKs sometimes are just making requests to transifex's API.
Machine Translations Aren’t Always Reliable – While AI-assisted translation is helpful, it still requires human oversight to maintain quality.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted localization for different countris for our mobile apps and web app.

  ### 32. Easy to use and manage translation tool for teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aastha A. | Staff engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Transifex has a very clean and intuitive interface, which makes it easy for both developers and translators to collaborate. The live editor is smooth, and the ability to manage translations across multiple languages in one place really helps streamline our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The pricing for the growth plan is not very flexible.
Sometimes the UI feels slightly sluggish when working with large files.
The string capture things sometimes doesn't work and manual work has to be done.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New option to translate using AI or machine translate are really good.
The live editor makes it very easy to collect right values. Teams can work in parallel.

  ### 33. Trasifex for localozation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanchit K. | SDET, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

1. The ease of managing the translations and implementing them into the project.
2.Good customer support in case of processing errors and rectfying them.
3.It can convert the strings to number of languages which can be frequently used in the project.
4.It is easy integrate into project even technically.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

1. There were some errors with strings that were not showing up correctly.
2. Some strings had warnings about incorrect conversion of translations.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So we are working on a project where in our local should support number of languages for the end customer. So we are using transifex to convert these strings to number of languages. Having all tranlsations at one place is really helpfull and moverover transifex charges only once for converting one particular word. So we synced our strings in such a manner that they are consistent among different platforms which helps us save money because of this particular feature transifex offers.

  ### 34. Efficient Translation Management with Transifex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranav J. | Frontend Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Transifex has a user-friendly interface for managing translation projects.
The real-time updates and notifications keep me informed of project progress, and the robust API allows for seamless integration with our app.
The editor is also quite good.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Adding new texts directly from the interface was not obvious. We either had to go through the editor or used API to add new strings.
The in-app editor is flaky sometimes.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are translating our web app into multiple languages.
Transifex provides a good way of async translation management without having to send builds for new translations or managing jsons at the app end.

  ### 35. Effortless Translation Management with a Clean, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I appreciate how easy it is to manage and collaborate on translations across multiple projects in one centralized location. The interface is clean and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Some advanced search or filtering options could be improved

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines the localization process by allowing our team and resources involved in the localization cycle to work efficiently in one platform.

  ### 36. An efficient way to translate websites

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The AI translation and the workflow which allows for team members to quickly check the strings of text and sign off.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The website pages are translated dynamically, does not create static pages, this means you don't show up for searches in the languages that you've translated your site for.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating our web app and marketing site into multiple languages at a lower cost, and more scalable than human translators.

  ### 37. A great interface with some limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LJ S. | Lead Developer, Entertainment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

It's a great way to split concerns between product and development. It removes the need for a code update for translations and tweaking the copy on a website in general. Integrating it was easy, there was an implementation library for whatever application is consuming it - in our case an SPA.
The interface on the website itself is nice to use, with great search functionality and signposting.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

We realised the hard way that once a language as been uploaded with a specific lang code - this cannot be edited. Only deleted and reuploaded. This led to some headaches once we realised we'd added an inconsistency in the codes. It would be good to have the ability to edit instead of replace.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us to store and manage the copy and translations on a single page website. It lets the copy be pulled in fresh on site load without needing dev changes or a code redeployment

  ### 38. Good centralized tool for multiple teams and products

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The recommendation of translations that apprears when you want to translate something.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

- I would say the navigation is sometimes conflicting. A missing feature would be the ability to have a language by default (not english but a mock-up language) used on design mockups
- It would be nice to have a component-type of system: a centralized group of words that can be linked to different keys. You change once, it changes everywhere.
- A better integration (plugin) with Figma

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating cross plateform. Giving access to different people in the company (from different teams) the opportunity to help out with translations

  ### 39. Transifex is efficient

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Transifex is a good tool to monitor & manage your localization & translation in your software. We use it to manage up to 29 language & it is very efficient

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I think AI should be included in the normal package. AI is leading translation processes

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex is centralizing software languages management & simplifying external actor intervention for translation

  ### 40. Great way to have real time translations with little effort

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dewyn L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Its simplicity setting up and how enables us to have internationalization of the app with little integration.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

It needs to know in code exactly what to ignore, which at first can be complicated and easy to forget.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Let us reach more users by easily enable us to have our app in other languages.

  ### 41. Transifex Integration Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt S. | Sr. Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Jesse,

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that your support team has been amazing and responsive. Your team's help and support is much appreciated and we would not be able to leverage your systems without the integration support provided.

The two issues that we brought forward were resolved with the utmost professionalism providing code refactor suggestions. Your team went over and beyond in understanding our issues and questions. The team gave a timely and detailed suggestions which helped unblock our team to move to production and communicated the timelines throughout.

It is very helpful that your support team has product and specific developer support.

Best, Matt

Halo Investing

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

So far the technology offering and integration process has been great. Our team at times has said that developer tools could have been more helpful and likely we could have used developer training before beggining development. We have yet to complete a full translation review beyond machine translation and have gotten feedback that the translations are out of context.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide a scalable solution to market without having human translation abilities.

  ### 42. Smooth Functionality with Occasional Inconsistencies - Overall Good Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

What I like best about Transifex is its intuitive user interface. The platform offers helpful options such as find and replace, as well as the ability to rerun machine translation, which significantly streamlines the translation process. Easy to use and straighforward. I translate 3 to 4 languages to I love being able to switch seamlessly between all of them

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I like the sometimes helpful glossary feature. However, it can sometimes interfere with machine translation if terms are not added with all relevant components, such as case sensitivity, nouns, and verbs. Ideally, AI should simplify this process, but currently, it's a bit tedious. Due to this, I sometimes find myself deleting glossary terms to avoid complications.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex is solving several key problems. It streamlines the translation process by providing a centralized platform where I can manage and coordinate multiple translation projects efficiently.

**Official Response from Nina Eleftheriadou:**

> Thank you for your insights! We’re glad to hear that our interface and features are streamlining your localization process and boosting productivity.

We appreciate your feedback on the glossary feature and understand the importance of flexible, user-friendly terminology management. Our team is working on enhancements to improve this functionality, including AI support. If you have additional insights, please feel free to reach out—we’d love to help make your experience even better.

Thanks again for choosing Transifex to support your localization efforts!

  ### 43. Easy To Use - Efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana M. | Enablement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

We have multiple translators working on it, easy onboarding as the tool is very intuitive and complete. Love the glossaries.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Suggested translations could be smarter.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localisations

  ### 44. A very nice tool with nice integrations but could use some UI/UX improvments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauro P. | Frontend Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The tool is nice and works good
The integrations with CI/CD and pipelines are nice, easy and effective

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

I think the UI/UX could improve easily. One of the most annoying things for me is the search bar within a project. It's often counter intuitive especially if you need to be quick when doing things. Also, sometimes the latest language in which you have edited a project is not saved, so you need to select it every time you open it.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Transifex to store and manage all of the translations we use. They are either used in the official website or app that the company I work for develops. It makes it easy to assign different people to different projects or languages within projects.

  ### 45. A simple yet effective professional software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

The user interface, very clear and readable

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The responsiveness, especially of keyboard shortcuts.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a software imposed by my sponsor, but it is effective for translating the entirety of their websites.

  ### 46. Useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corentin H. | Chief Product Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Easy to use once implemented, easy to navigate, to find the untranslated keys

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The AI features are not included primary in the package
Hard to keep a base clean when you have multiple branches

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're having our localization fully managed on Transifex. 4 different languages

  ### 47. Fast and reliable support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathias B. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

We get fast service and support when we need it, and they can see our needs and improve our knowledge about the service to gain higher benefits from the usage.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Maybe work on the UX. However, I got help quickly, which was no problem after that.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several products, work with external suppliers, and have a high volume of continuously updated content. With Transifex can we coordinate this in a good way.

  ### 48. Cumbersome Workflows but does the job

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I use Transifex semi-regularly to update and refine translations as a Product Manager. It's easy to search for strings and switch between different languages, and an AI feature lets you know if it thinks you've made an error which can be useful as I'm often copying and pasting from other documents or slack.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Transfiex does not have a well-thought-out navigation or system architecture that matches workflows at my company, Syncing to github for releases for example is hard.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central place to manage all translations and update copy in webapp without raising tickets in engineering.

**Official Response from Nina Eleftheriadou:**

> Thank you for your review!

We’re happy to hear that features like search, language switching, and AI add value to your workflow as a Product Manager.

We also appreciate your feedback on navigation and integrations. We're continuously refining our platform to improve flexibility and ease of use. Regarding the GitHub sync for releases, if you haven’t already, please feel free to reach out to our support team with any additional details about your setup or challenges. We’d love to better understand your experience and explore how we can help!

Thank you again for choosing Transifex to centralize and simplify your localization process. We’re here to support you, so don’t hesitate to get in touch!

  ### 49. Good translation service across platforms

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

I like the easy of use and how it works on client sides. It's flexible enough. They also try to update features based on customers' feedback.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

Nothing particular. Maybe they could consider supporting more native solutions, such as Apple platforms.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This enables translators to translate many localizations in an efficient way.

**Official Response from Nina Eleftheriadou:**

> Thank you for your review!

We’re glad to know that Transifex is meeting your needs and helping you easily manage your localization efforts.

We appreciate your suggestion about supporting more native solutions, such as Apple platforms. We’d love to hear more about your specific requirements and see how we can improve our offerings further.

Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us continue to grow and serve you better!

  ### 50. A nice, simple localization platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre G. | Web Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Transifex?**

Super easy to hire translators for languages you can't translate yourself. Integrating Transifex with GitHub was also quite painless.

**What do you dislike about Transifex?**

The UI feels a bit dated and you need quite a few clicks to do simple tasks - but that's not a dealbreaker at all.

**What problems is Transifex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transifex is a central place where everyone in the company can look up strings, update and review them without having to code anything. Adding context screenshots makes it easy for everyone to understand where the strings are used. Hiring translators is also quite easy.

**Official Response from Nina Eleftheriadou:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review!

We’re thrilled to hear that Transifex has been a helpful solution for streamlining your localization process and that you found integrating with GitHub straightforward.

We appreciate your feedback on the UI. We take all feedback seriously and continuously improve the user experience to make the platform even more intuitive.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—it means a lot to us!
