In our small but mighty firm, we are too busy to repeat ourselves when teaching new skills to a new employee or refreshing an existing employee's skills. Trainual lets us document a process or policy once, and it lets me say, "But did you check Trainual before asking for help?" Now this is the way everyone thinks! I feel like we have added dozens of hours a week to our availability thanks to Trainual, and now we have more time to complete our deep work for clients. I still physically take notes anytime I learn a new process, but I’ve always been the person who types them up afterward in greater detail so I can rely on a more organized, legible version the next time I need to do that task. Trainual gives me one place to store all of those written versions and make them accessible to co-workers and other departments as needed. Overall, it’s a very functional and genuinely helpful product. I also like being able to customize the formatting, and I enjoy the flow chart feature a lot for visualizing processes. On top of that, recording and embedding screen shares is something I use often, and it makes everything so much simpler. I haven’t explored the AI features as much as I’d like yet, but I do love picking out cover photos and emojis to customize my modules. I use Trainual as our company's main hub to find information, which is especially helpful for onboarding and HR policies. I love that it serves as a 'one stop shop', reducing frequent questions and saving time for both employees and managers. I also enjoy the ability to make content fun by adding GIFs, which makes reading about procedures more enjoyable. The AI feature to change writing styles is fantastic because it keeps our content fluid and coherent, particularly with so many collaborators. Additionally, setting it up was incredibly easy and intuitive; migrating our content required minimal training time. We like that it can serve as an all-in-one resource for our team. We have all of our company information and insights hosted in one place, accessible as needed. It would be helpful to have more abilities as an admin like marking specific steps as complete rather than the whole subject. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you? It helps alleviate a lot of admin work when new employees are onboarding and training. We don't have to share documents, worry about who they should send it to, etc. It is all spelt out in Trainual. An employee can begin training day 1 of their job with no staff intervention. I just love having an encyclopedia of everything I need to know about my role to refer back to when I need a little help. I haven't had any issues that I can recall with Trainual. The only thing I can think is sometimes the info may be outdated, but generally my managers are very good at keeping it updated. I think Trainual improves efficiency; sometimes I have a brainfart or my coworkers do, and it is nice to just refer to our Trainual instead of having to bother each other or our supervisor to check if we are doing every little thing correctly.
