Stateful firewall, Web Access Policy system, antivirus protection, spam filtering, traffic shaping, advanced routing, traffic accounting and reports - you name it, TI has it. There are other analogous solutions out there, but all of them are usually separate products. Traffic Inspector will run on an ordinary PC meaning you don't need expensive hardware. Traffic Inspector is also a Microsoft Windows-based product. What that means is that you do not need to be a network / Unix / Linux guru to configure and administer the program. **What do you dislike about Traffic Inspector?** I sure have seen prettier interfaces. Administration Console which is used to control the program is nothing but a heavily modified MMC snap-in. But hey, it is about functionality, not about pretty buttons, right? **Recommendations to others considering Traffic Inspector:** This product would be a good choice for a business that looks for an inexpensive and comprehensive UTM solution for their small- or medium-sized network. **What problems is Traffic Inspector solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a company with a limited budget, we needed an affordable UTM gateway.
