Functional but lacking parameter flexibility and reporting optimization. **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Tom F. | Business Development Manager, Wholesale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2015 **What do you like best about Tradepoint POS?** The Tradepoint interface from an inventory, billing and CRM perspective was relatively intuitive and straight forward. This made for much quicker onboarding of new employees for policy and procedure mastery than some Tradepoint competitor systems on the market. **What do you dislike about Tradepoint POS?** Tradepoint lacks a lot of sandbox functionality that it's competitors do offer. Because of this, a lot of important and valuable customer or product information had to be housed in 3rd party programs outside of Tradepoint, increasing costs of doing business. The system is slow to respond to user inputs. **Recommendations to others considering Tradepoint POS:** Increase customer service levels to support additional sandbox needs of your customer base. Allow for cloud storage and hosting instead of local hosting to increase responsivity of the product. **What problems is Tradepoint POS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We no longer use Tradepoint in large part because of the issues noted in my dislikes section. Tradepoint offered a good starting point for us to begin to house all of our information but in doing so highlighted additional areas we needed to keep track of.
