It replaces the spreadsheet and the paper receipt book with one place where a landlord sees which rents have been paid, which are late and which tenants still owe a share, and produces the rent receipt (quittance de loyer) that French law requires. It is built for owners of one to ten rental homes, family property companies (SCI) and shared-flat landlords, and it is designed to be useful in two minutes: add a property, add a tenant, record the first payment. RENT TRACKING A monthly dashboard shows every rent as paid, partially paid or unpaid, flags overdue rents and keeps the full payment history by property and by tenant. Partial payments are recorded as they come in, with a progress bar for each month. SHARED FLATS (COLOCATION) Each flatmate has their own share of the rent and charges, their own payment history and their own receipt, even under a single lease. Most rental tools treat shared flats as an afterthought; in TrackMyRent they are part of the data model. RENT RECEIPTS THAT FOLLOW FRENCH LAW On the Plus and Pro plans, the app generates a PDF receipt with the mentions required by article 21 of the law of 6 July 1989, with rent and service charges shown separately. It shares the receipt with the tenant through a secure download link valid for three months, by email, SMS or WhatsApp. The tenant does not need an account. ANNUAL RENT REVISION The app calculates the revised rent from the official INSEE reference rent index (IRL), reminds the landlord when a revision is due and prepares the revision letter. WORKS OFFLINE TrackMyRent is a Progressive Web App. It keeps working without a connection, synchronises when the network returns and installs on the home screen of an iPhone, an Android phone or a computer without going through an app store. PRIVACY AND HOSTING Data is hosted in the European Union and the service complies with the GDPR. There is no advertising tracking and no third-party cookies. FREE PLAN AND PRICING The free plan is not a trial: it covers 2 properties and 4 tenants, with no time limit and no credit card. Plus (from 9.99 euros per month) adds PDF receipts, sending by email, SMS and WhatsApp, and up to 5 properties and 15 tenants. Pro (29.99 euros per month) removes the limits on properties and tenants. Paid plans start with a 30-day free trial. The interface is in French and the product is built for the French rental market.
