What do you like best about TrackingTime PRO?

I like that I’m able to keep track of time spent on different project tasks across multiple clients and project buckets within each client. Doesn’t have a bunch of annoying popups or upsells which is awesome, lots of functionality available even in the free version. Setup was pretty straightforward and simple but there are plenty of configuration options available if you need a more complex setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackingTime PRO?

I wish I could select multiple tasks that would fall under a time entry because a lot of times I am working on a bunch of different things for a client and I don’t want to have to stop and start the time to track to a different project task. I wish I could track time across multiple tasks and then have the timer divide out the time equally across number of tasks (or better yet allow me to set a percentage of time allocated) - that way I only have to start my timer once but I can still keep track of what tasks I was doing and approximate the amount of time on each. It’s too labor intensive to have to start, stop and switch every time I’m switching in between tasks for the same client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TrackingTime PRO?

I can keep time down to the minute while designating that time to certain tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackingTime PRO?

I am working on a project in which the scope has expanded, and I wanted to edit tasks that had times attached to another task and make them subtasks. The software (really, its users) would benefit from the intuitive ability to drag and drop timed tasks into subtasks of a new task without having to manually record each task and time. What do you like best about TrackingTime PRO?

It's easy to navigate and set up. I have several different clients and projects and am able to bounce around to each focus as needed. I also really like that I can check off completed tasks and make new ones, still being able to access the completed ones when needed. I am also tracking my working hours, which aren't necessarily client based but more geared towards keeping tracking my administrative hours as well. TrackingTime is integral to this one person operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I start/stop a timer, I see the timer started/stopped, then a few minutes later I realize it never changed, I only received a fake interface feedback. That's by far the worst experience with the system.

Often downtimes.

We’d like to clarify that timers in TrackingTime do not “fake” state changes. When a timer is started or stopped, that action is only confirmed once it has been properly recorded. If a change does not persist, it’s typically related to connectivity interruptions, browser restrictions, or local environment issues rather than the system providing false feedback.

That said, we understand how this situation can be confusing and we agree that the experience should be consistent and reliable. The same applies to your comments about task loading speed and availability—these are areas we continuously monitor and optimize.

TrackingTime is a good app to help you track your employee's work. I especially like that you can add projects to their hours worked. Helps with keeping track of their progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a few things I don't like about the program, navigating around the program and the reports are not easy. The fact that they don't offer any training for small companies.
