Track & Trace Tools is an open source cannabis platform. It is a Chrome extension for Metrc (the primary cannabis regulatory system in the US). The extension enhances Metrc by automating compliance tasks and generating advanced analytics about a cannabis operation. Track & Trace Tools is used by more than 700 businesses across 14 states, ranging from mom and pop shops to the largest multistate operators. It's been used to report billions of dollars of cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, and commerce. Track & Trace Tools is used by all parts of the cannabis supply chain: cultivators, processors, transporters, laboratories, and retailers.

**What do you like best about Track & Trace Tools?**

The fact that the majority of the tools within the software are free and open source, still baffles me at moments. There aren't many well rounded integration software solutions for METRC on the market, and the ones that are available, are ridiculously expensive on the cost per month. Not only does the free version of the add on give you so many handy tools in METRC itself, it's simply just an add on in chrome! No onboarding time to switch to other integration software or anything. If the organization I work for didn't already use Canix integration software, I would heavily consider the paid version for the extra features!

**What do you dislike about Track & Trace Tools?**

There isn't much to not like. The developer is very open and receptive to requests for features, and quick to respond to reported bugs and issues. Instills confidence in the future of this app.

**What problems is Track & Trace Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When our integration software Canix fails us, we always have to default back to using METRC itself to handle issues. That is where Track And Trace Tools shines. It is literally integrated INTO METRC itself. Which helps do any and all of the basic tasks you find yourself doing in there, faster and easier.
