Every receipt is generated, signed and chained so that it cannot be altered, in line with Spain's anti-fraud law (Verifactu). The problem it solves The law requires every receipt to be recorded and chained, and a system failure can end in penalties from the tax agency. When the till is not connected to Sage 200, the day ends with cash-ups that do not balance, phantom stock and hours of typing data into head office. And customers queue because a receipt cannot be parked, a pending payment collected or a supplier paid on the spot. How it works Each receipt is generated, signed and chained at the counter. Sales, cash-ups and stock movements flow into Sage 200 at the moment of the sale, and the day's sales are posted to the general journal without manual work. The counter handles mixed payments, parked receipts, pending payments, supplier payments and the till closing with a Z report. What changes Legal peace of mind: compliance is automatic and transparent in every transaction. Stock that always balances: goods are deducted from the ERP at the moment of sale, not at closing. A more autonomous team: transfers, payments on account and cash-ups are handled in the shop without calling head office. Implementation It is a ready-made module built on Sage 200, so it usually goes live in three to four weeks.
