A merchant can create a store on their own domain and, if they choose, also list products in a shared country catalog. Towami charges a flat monthly subscription and takes no commission on sales. Each store runs on the merchant's custom domain. Domain connection uses Cloudflare for SaaS: the merchant points a CNAME record for the www subdomain at Towami, and the platform handles SSL. Stores include: - A product catalog with options and SKU variants - Cart and checkout - Multi-warehouse inventory with local pickup - Promo codes - Customer reviews - A blog and custom pages - Staff accounts - Product import and export (Google XML, CSV) - Basic SEO on every plan: sitemap, canonical URLs, Open Graph tags and structured data Publishing channels are set per store and per product. A merchant can show an item only in their own store, or also in the regional marketplace. The regional marketplaces also work as classifieds boards, with vertical sections such as vehicles and real estate. Payments: PayPal is available in every country. Card payments through Stripe Connect are available for US stores. Prices can be shown in the country's official currency or in USD. Each store has a main currency that it uses for the cart and checkout. Plans: Free, Start, Business, Profi and Enterprise (custom). Plans differ in limits (pages, warehouses, staff seats) and in features. Paid plans add extended SEO tools such as the SERP preview, automatic 301 redirects when a slug changes, and Google/Bing verification tags. White-label mode, which removes the Towami link from the store footer, is available from Profi. Integrations and API access are available on higher plans. Technology: Towami is server-rendered, built with Go, Templ, HTMX and Alpine.js, and uses PostgreSQL, Redis and Cloudflare. The storefront is designed to reach a 100/100 PageSpeed score and good Core Web Vitals. This is an engineering goal, and the result depends on each merchant's content. The interface follows WCAG 2.1 AA requirements. Markets: one codebase serves nine countries, each on its own subdomain with its own catalog, language (English or Spanish) and currency. The countries are the USA, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
