Tow Deputy is an AI towing dispatcher and 24/7 AI receptionist for towing companies and roadside assistance operators. Launch Zone Labs builds it in Nashville, Tennessee. The product has been generally available since May 2026. Tow Deputy answers inbound cash calls with a natural voice, identifies the service (tow, lockout, jump start, tire change, fuel delivery, or winch-out), captures vehicle and location details — including landmarks and intersections — and quotes the shop’s own rate card. Quotes can include hook-up fees, zone pricing, mileage, night fees, and vehicle or issue adjustments. On Growth, it can send a PCI-compliant SMS deposit link into the operator’s Stripe account. It does not take card numbers by voice. When a job is booked, Tow Deputy texts the driver and shows the job in a driver web app and dashboard. Operators accept or decline by tap or text. Shops keep their existing phone number and can forward it always, after hours only, or when the line is busy. Nothing has to be ported. Human transfer, a custom press-a-key menu, Spanish answering, night-time alerts, and taught FAQs are included. Tow Deputy is built for towing and roadside work. It is not a generic virtual receptionist and not a dispatch management system. It works alongside Towbook, Omadi, or any board you already use. Handoff today is SMS plus the dashboard; you still enter the job. Native two-way sync is not built yet. Tow Deputy does not accept Agero or other motor-club digital dispatches or quote club contract rates. Who it is for: owner-operators who cannot answer while they are on a hook, small fleets that miss overflow calls, roadside-only and mobile-mechanic shops, and operators who want after-hours coverage without a night dispatcher.
