What do you like best about Tovuti LMS?
- The administrator portal is intuitive for the majority of use cases, allowing newly christened administrators to find their way about with ease.
- The Customer Support team responds quickly for all requests that fall within the bounds of what is possible within Tovuti.
- The control over branding can quickly produce a nice-looking navigation pane and login page.
- Customer onboarding was seamlessly run and provided us an easy glide into implementation, with minimal issues during the first year of our subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Tovuti LMS?
- The Client Success team is reactive rather than proactive. Continual follow-up, escalations, and check-ins from our team were necessary to receive responses. We could go weeks at a time without a response, despite following up regularly. Even when responding, the Client Success team never includes any names in their emails which made communication feel very impersonal.
- The lack of communication was critical when an integration that we needed to release our certification was broken, and had been for over a year, despite our communication upfront in the sales cycle on how important the integration was. It took three months to fix this integration and we had to develop a manual workflow in the interim.
- Tovuti seems to invest most in their content creation tools rather than improving the overall platform experience. We have received feedback from most of our learners across Fortune 500 organizations that the navigation experience is unintuitive and have had to create introductory content showing learners exactly how to navigate the platform.
- We had verbally agreed upon a pricing model for active users since we expected a large amount of users to quickly become inactive. This pricing model was not reflected in the paperwork and, while we should have audited the paperwork more thoroughly, therefore scaled more rapidly than anticipated. A request to shift to the verbally agreed upon pricing model was rejected without much consideration.
Generally, Tovuti has felt more like an impediment to our business goals rather than an accelerator.
It served its purpose well, but Tovuti is clearly designed for large organizations who warrant attention from their subscription cost or for very small organizations who are comfortable with the compromises on platform robustness.
Anyone in between should look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
