I also like that sub-admin settings allow for some flexibility in access so they aren't overwhelmed with the full admin/developer version of the Tovuti back end. It's also helpful to be able to archive learning and manage reporting, as well as adding our own SCORM content to the system. The final thing I appreciate is that we are able to offer SSO as well as an alternate login for our employees who may end up locked out of SSO due to non-compliance on state-mandated training by the deadline. **What do you dislike about Tovuti LMS?** One big sticking point for us is that the activity reports don't show any incomplete training, only what is assigned and completed. I know you can send emailed reports that show incomplete, but only if the user is already registered for the course. For reporting purposes, it would be helpful if anyone who was assigned a course was automatically registered for it, instead of having to be manually registered in that course. The assignments don't always work correctly either. Sometimes they don't show up on the reports, and I have to delete them and re-create them one or two more times before they work. Along that same line of reports, we are only able to select one report for our supervisors to view and an admin has to manually change the date in the system every day to keep it current. That is not ideal. It would be helpful if supervisors were able to create their own reports for their team without having to have any additional sub-admin access on the back end. In lieu of that, it would be helpful if the system automatically updated the report being used as the main analytics source for supervisor reports to the current day so that an admin doesn't have to go in there every day to keep it current. Yes, it's just a few steps, but it's time that we could use to do something else in our day. It would also be helpful if there was a library function for courses. For example, we have a business skills library but aren't able to organize all the courses together that would fit within that library, since that doesn't exist. It would be great if we could organize general courses by library. One other flaw we've noticed is that often when system updates are made, new issues arise. It would be helpful to be informed of potential system issues the new updates may cause along with the positive things the new updates are going to do for us. We hate constantly finding out there are system issues post updates from employees who are experiencing the issue. It often makes us look unaware of our own system. We understand there are a lot of moving parts to Tovuti, but a little heads-up would be helpful so we know what to look for and what to anticipate to make it easier on our people and ourselves. It does sometimes feel like there may be too many moving parts and pieces and that it can be overly complicated when things could be better streamlined. The sheer amount of layers to accomplish something as simple as creating an assignment can feel like a bit too much. For most tasks in Tovuti there are at least 3 tabs you need to check to make sure everything is in working order. **What problems is Tovuti LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tovuti helps us track employee training, meet state-mandated requirements, and keep records in situations related to Title IX and cybersecurity. They have done some pretty amazing things to help us build a super online training presence for our dealer network and internal staff. The one thing that will stand out for anyone that decides to go with Tovuti for their LMS needs is that they have, hands-down, the best customer and technical support of any organization that I have ever dealt with. Seriously, these folks are world-class. We have thrown them some interesting challenges to deal with in our specific industry needs. They have not failed us yet! They have even made some changes to help us that opened up new opportunities for them as a company. So if I haven't exhibited this enough, they are a great partner with us in our business. They are fast on responses. They are accurate in their info shared/guidance given for resolving issues, especially if its on our end of the issue. If its something on the Tovuti side, they find and resolve issues on their end rapidly. We barely notice a hiccup in utilization. That is great, as the ROI on this product is directly related on its being up and functional for us. Everyone I have ever dealt with there is focused on one thing. Us, the customer. So I give a big shout-out and salute to the folks at Tovuti. You guys Rock!!!! Jerry **What do you dislike about Tovuti LMS?** All issues are dealt with rapidly, professionally and with our timeline in mind. I have no complaints. We have been with them well into our 3rd year with Tovuti and I have yet to run into anything that I would personally be concerned about. **What problems is Tovuti LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company is 80+ years old. We are the inventor of many of our early industry products. While there have been various training segments either done in-house or contracted outside for specific topical material, we never ventured into the training waters until about 2013. That monthly training has been running ever since (sans the period during which Covid shut down our state). However, we never moved into other areas of training activities. That changed late last fall when we ran a training event for our dealer sales network. Unfortunately, it was evident from the outset that this training was more or less disastrous. At that point, our corporate leadership decided we needed to step forward and start serious training for most all areas of our business to differentiate ourselves from all competitors in the industry, picking up a torch put down by many manufacturing companies in the 70s, 80s and beyond. I had been doing the training since 2013, so it naturally fell on my shoulders to bring this department about to handle all business segments that could only improve through better training. I quickly realized that our training programs needed to be easy to use, flexible for our internal needs, and 'mobile.' This latter need would make it easier to use if the training needed to be brought away from our training facility at the office. I began searching for an LMS mechanism. I did not know how they worked, so I didn't know what I didn't know. However, it became apparent early on that Tovuti would separate themselves from the pack. I don't want to discount anything from the other LMS systems because they all had their benefits. Tovuti just seemed to be a natural fit for us. Ease of use, as mentioned before, was vital in the selection, and we were not disappointed. Flexibility was also a critical factor in the selection. The first training session was going to test whether Tovuti would be the long-term solution for our training needs. I was sure it was, as we had done our homework, but until it was executed and operational, it remained to be seen if this was true. I did not need to be concerned. Tovuti exceeded all expectations. What is exciting is that we are expanding what we are training, what groups of people are training and how we can utilize Tovuti in that equation. We provide training across the country and being able to make some of those trainings available virtually is an asset. What truly sets Tovuti apart from other LMS platforms is its speech-to-text feature. This tool enables us to assess different levels of learning and provide necessary accommodations for our learners. The variety of options to create interactive learning activities is far greater than any other platform. The Tovuti Support library has a wealth of information to help learn how to create different types of activities and how to build courses and lessons. Most activity types are easy to build. The support team is very responsive and helpful in figuring out how to get unstuck. **What do you dislike about Tovuti LMS?** I am a subject matter expert, not a virtual instructional designer, so there was a steep learning curve for me. Building courses is not my full-time job, so course development has been more time-consuming than anticipated. That said, once completed, my end users have really enjoyed the content, variety, and platform. There are many steps to remember with user management and course gating. There are things I requested two years ago that has still not been addressed, and some things that have been fixedx in the recent month or so were based on requests made two years ago.
