## Catalyst Reviews
  ### 1. Catalyst Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Efficient customer data centralized and automated workflows that shoe customer journey and good UI.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Reporting and dash boards not great. Some synchronization delays.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great insights for customer journeys and solid sync to our CRM

  ### 2. Great platform for CS professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

In the role of CSM, I love the ability to keep track of notes and tasks all in one easy to manage place. It makes collaborating with fellow CS members easy as you can assign tasks and collaborate on projects. In CS management, we make great use of its playbook function where emails can be programmed to be sent to customers when certain milestones are reached by customers. I use it daily!

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

It's challenging when the Sales org does not use the software so this limits collaboration with that org. Perhaps more functionality between Catlyst and Salesforce would allow this to happen.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A central hub for our CS professionals to work in every day. We utilize the playbook features very frequently to send auto emails to our customers to alert them of important changes to their service or otherwise.

  ### 3. Easy to use and implement CS tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula P. | Customer Success Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The most powerful about Catalyst is its low code and friendly for admins configuration. The integrations are also very straightforward, and non technical people can create and manage.
For the end users is a great experience too, very friendly layouts and easy to understand its objects.

For our operation, automatizing the playbooks, Signals for expansions or churn risk and a super personalized Health Score were game changer.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

There are still limitations in creating the dashboad charts, also there's no required fields in tasks or notes, which can allow a IC to log an QBR or Kick-off call without important data (no poka-yokes).

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatization of Customer Journey, risk alerts, expansion alerts

  ### 4. Intuitive and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst has a very intuitive design that is flexible enough for a range of customized workflows and processes. I greatly appreciate the ability to configure the system without the need for engineer involvement. Additionally, Catalyst has a great Salesforce integration among other strong integrations.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

The customer support sometimes is a little slower than expected and there is some feature deficit to other platforms I've seen on the market, but overall it's a great product that I'm very happy with.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to streamline and automate workflows and surface data in an automated fashion, making us much more efficient and allowing us to scale to a much greater degree.

  ### 5. Great CSP for small to mid-size SAAS companies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

It's great for tracking usage trends and health scores.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

The inability to track health scores of logos

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an executive view of the customer health

  ### 6. Catalyst as a CS CRM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Customer Success Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I use Catalyst every day as part of my role. The platform itself is very easy to use and navigate. The integration with Salesforce is strong. The team is always available to assist with any queries.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

We have had issues with fields saving. The team is ready to assist, but it causes operational issues having to remember what was originally input (and identifying that an input wasn't saved).

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst allows us to track our customer base, easily identify a customer's health, all in an easy and in a visually-pleasing way that makes sense.

  ### 7. Task master sheet for a large team

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I like how it can notify me when a user in the app takes an action and then automatically assigns me a task. That task is then automatically associated with an outreach sequence

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

The UI is a bit confusing on how to navigate around and to save or bookmark my tasks vs everyones tasks

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tracks user activity in the app and relays info to sales reps on the exact right time to reach out for upsells

  ### 8. Easy to set up & simple dashboards!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie W. | Director of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst is not complicated compared to other CSM platforms like Gainsight - it doesn't take a specialized degree or admin to manage the integration, logic, reporting, etc.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

It cannot do everything needed in-house such as NPS scoring, which we need to integrate with another partner. This causes some friction when trying to problem solve for updating NPS scoring or not getting the specific results we are looking for when testing.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding customer health is something we have not had visibility into as an organization. Getting this in place as we grow and go upmarket is critical to ensure less churn, understand adoption & how we drive value.

  ### 9. Life made easy as a CSM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I was part of the evaluation team who tested out Catalyst and it was a love at first sight for me. From managing my customers using google sheets/looker dashboards to now a specialised tool - life's been good ever since. I use it on a daily basis since it's my source of truth + am able to conslidate notes/docs/tickets, tag my team mates working on the same accounts for smooth comms and also see account intelligence is exactly what I needed.

If you are a growing CS org I'd recommend getting Catalyst from initial stages and not when youve reach a higher account.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Honestly none so far. The customer experience with our team has been fantastic and the product isn't overwhelming.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation of account info, easy management of customer accounts and smooth comms with team members working on same accounts

  ### 10. A breath of fresh air! Very happy with our move to Catalyst

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie B. | CX Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

We recently migrated to Catalyst on a very tight timeline with the primary implemention admin being a brand new member of the Operations team (that's me!) and despite all that, we had a very smooth launch to our CSMs, who to be honest were quite skeptical of moving to a new system.

I really like:
1. How easy it is to connect the integrations
2. How inuitive it was to learn (a bit of a learning curve but really smooth compared to other tools I've used)
3. How involved, proactive, and responsive our Implementation Specialist and CSM were and still are even after launch
4. The support team's responsiveness to my questions
5. How simple and easy their knowledge articles are
6. The amount of innovation we've already seen with several features being rolled out even since we signed up less than a quarter ago
7. Transparent roadmap on what they are working on
8. Our CSMs seem really happy so far and though we've had questions and feature requests come in, we really haven't had any complaints so far.
9. We've only been launched for a couple weeks, but it seems like user adoption is already stronger than it was on our previous platform.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I wouldn't say there is anything I particularly dislike, but there are some areas that I'm excited to see them continue to develop product wise.

1. There playbook functionality is great, but it was definitely the biggest learning curve for me compared to the rest of the platform and I made some mistakes that caused headaches during the build. There's some feature requests I've submitted that I think will make building playbooks easier, more forgiving of mistakes, and allow for more creativity and complexity. However, I've seen them roll out 2 features related to playbooks in just the past 2 months and I feel confident that the functionality I've asked is likely to be built in the future.

2. Since Catalyst is a newer player in the space there is some key functionalities missing that they are still building out, things like integrated surveys (coming soon!), a one-off email template library, some integrations we'd like to see built, an open API, and being able to create different object layouts based on Record Type (opportunities and cases) as well as some more field validation options.

However, the negatives are far outweighed by the overwhelming positives of this move and I do feel confident in the roadmap and vision they've shared with me and think a lot of my important requests will likely be built by their product team within the next year or so.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is solving our previous problems of: clunky disjointed and manual workflows, lack of visibility for cross functional customer facing teams, hard to find data in multiple places, hard to analyze success and impact of CSM efforts.

I'm really excited about the future of our org and the possibilities of what we can accomplish with this move to Catalyst. I'm already a huge fan. The biggest thing I love about our move to Catalyst is that it makes me feel confident that I can deliver success in my role in CX Ops to our leadership team and our CSM ICs and tackle any requests they throw my way. I feel very empowered since we made this move.

  ### 11. An invaluable platform for our customer success team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

All relevant data can be easily grouped and customized to our liking. From sentiment to health scores, and many other layouts, it's easily accessible from the home page.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Not too many gripes come to mind. I occasionally noticed the odd litch, but it's minor. Also, as someone who works with a lot of different windows, it would be nice if more of the data could be presented when in a smaller window size (ex: 1/3 of screen).

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use catalist for our implementation tasks, configurations, executive business reviews, and everything else pertaining to our customers. The biggest piece of value to me is being able to easily get a sense of the Likelihood of Renewal, Outstanding Renewals and Customer Health Scores.

  ### 12. Great platform backed by an incredible team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catie I. | CRO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst has become the backbone of our CS org and a key pillar of our customer journey, helping us power the right one to one touch points to build deeper releationships while also providing powerful data and insights to help us understand our various customer cohorts.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

No specific gaps to call out. We've been able to accomplish everything we need so far.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst gives us actionable insights into our indiviudal customers while also powering much of our one to many next best actions.

  ### 13. Solid tool for CS professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Intiutive, easy to set up quickly
Good features in playbooks to identify accounts needing attention
Support team are knowledgable and responsive

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

An API would be very beneficial (I understand this on the way)

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High level visibility into accounts of all tiers. Easy to track what is missing and opportunities to assist the account.

  ### 14. Great place to compile key customer data for easy access!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

It gives me one place where I can quickly find key data on specific clients. When I go to Catalyst, I can quickly see the portion of our service that have already been rendered, and what's still outstanding. I can also see who our key contacts are, which integrations have been implemented, as well as other engagement metrics.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I honestly haven't found anything yet that I dislike.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Catalyst, it would take a long time to research exactly where a given customer stands in the course of our fulfillment if you aren't already involved in day-to-day interactions with them. Catalyst pulls in key data from several sources to make it quick and easy to gather the insight that we need.

  ### 15. Catalyst is Key for Customer Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob M. | Manager, Customer Success, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

We love how customizable Catalyst is for our specific needs. It's a relatively intuitive interface and easy to adopt for our CSMs. The overall setup and flow is very CS-oriented right out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

No system is perfect and Catalyst isn't the exception. We occasionally have syncing issues with it, etc. but overall, it has been a positive experience with minimal problems.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce is very bloated and cumbersome for Customer Success to function efficiently, and Catalyst helps solve much of this.

  ### 16. Catalyst review from CSM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The ability to create automated taskes within the notes is helpful and makes creating follow up tasks pretty seamless. I also do appreciate that within the Account detail page it includes everything like users, storage.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

It does take a little while to get use to the layout, once you create a few notes and tasks, it does get more seamless and ease of use increases.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had gainsight before - Catalyst is a much more improved version of Gainsight. Really like how emails are automatically logged, notes have the ability to create follow up tasks within them. Does have all data from other CS tools like ThoughtSpot for reporting and Salesforce for upcoming contracts and such.

  ### 17. Effective and Intuitive Customer Success Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourya M. | Sr. Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

It features an intuitive interface that simplifies use. It aids in organizing meeting notes effectively. The platform offers comprehensive project tracking capabilities, including task assignments, progress monitoring, and deadline management, ensuring teams remain on track with their projects.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

So far I didn't find any cons. I enjoy using the platform.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to keep the meeting notes organized. It gives us a proper task management capabilities. Also I get a 360 degree view of the Customers.

  ### 18. Customer Success and Support = Name of the Game

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst's CSMs and Support team are some of the best in the business. They are available and thrilled to meet with you to solve your issues, answer your questions and provide guidance or best practices. That goes hand-in-hand with the easy-to-use UI.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

The lack of workflow integrations is one of the biggest drawbacks - we need easier ways for CSMs to use Catalyst as the CS source of truth and that can only happen when we embed an integration into how CSMs work. I am looking forward to the Totango integrations as they are far more powerful than the Catalyst integrations.

There are some features that just do not make sense, like a checkbox to sync to SFDC. When a CSM clears cookies which happens with some general updates, this checkbox is disabled and we are not able to sync any activities entered into Catalyst to SFDC. This has been a huge issue for us and one we have escalated but no resolution.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst has provided the system of record for CSMs to log notes, track tasks, provide playbooks and many other things for CS. Prior, all CSMs were tracking these things in G-docs, Apple notes, notebooks, SFDC, etc. which lead to ZERO visibility or tracking in vital systems. Additionally, Catalyst provides CSMs with actionable data to tackle their day, prep for an EBR or checkin, prioritize accounts, etc.

  ### 19. Straightforward Product, Helpful Sales & Implementation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst is simple to use and our Implementation Manager Deanna was excellent helping us get started at our own rapid pace, guiding us through the process and Best Practices and always ready to hop ahead or in a totally new direction depending on what we were looking to cover since our last session.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

There's the same slowness of loading/small usability bugs that I experienced with Gainsight in the past, and it takes a bit longer than desired to get something resolved with Support (although they're very courteous).

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst helps us organize multiple data sets into one place to help streamline insight into customer account details, activity, recent engagement notes, product usage, Support tickets and other tools. Our team can use Catalyst to get organized at the start of their day and take notes that sync back to SFDC (for the most part).

  ### 20. Works for my needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I like the reports and dashboards, which make it easy to view my data in a consumable way.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I wish there were more options for automation/integrations with my customer data, as I need to manually update a lot of fields in Catalyst that are already maintained/updated in other systems.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst helps my leadership have visibility into key performance metrics, such as how often I meet with customers, customer sentiment, status of customer deliverables, etc.

  ### 21. Catalyst has an intuitive UI and is easy to adopt.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn C. | Sr Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Before Catalyst we had big blind spots in our data. Now that we have it we've been able to quickly standup and iterate on a health score that has been helpful in predicting churn.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

There were some challenges early on with gaps in functionality but they've made improvements since then.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Predicting churn, proactive playbooks when customers need touch points, reactive playbooks when customers fall behind, celebrating customers when milestones are achieved

  ### 22. Great tool for CSMs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The user-friendly interface makes it incredibly easy to create notes, tasks, and other items with just a click. It also offers automation for customer outreach, which lightens my workload as a CSM. Catalyst makes it much easier for me to manage my client workload.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Not a lot to dislike about Catalyst at the moment.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst has become my essential tool for managing customer information. At my previous job, without Catalyst, note-taking and task tracking were disorganized and challenging. Now, I can effortlessly take notes on customers, monitor their health, and keep track of tasks all in one place.

  ### 23. Catalyst scaled with us over 5 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst is extremely flexible, and has consistently released new functionality that has made our CS team move effective, and allowed us to scale as our business grew. We can't operate without Catalyst now, and whenever we have a new initiative, we are typically powering it with Catalyst. The team there have been absoloutely fantastic partners throughout the years as well - can't recommend the platform enough.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Honestly, all of our needs have been met and exceed over the years. Like any growing platform, there have been small usability bugs, but they've built an incredible platform and release new functionality regularly.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst gives our CSMs a single pane view of our customer base and makes our CSMs efficient. It gives us an easy way to assess the health of our customer base and drive measurable action.

  ### 24. Catalyst (still) works wonders

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

As a CSM, Catalyst is an efficient way to streamline my day, collaborate with coworkers, and readily navigate through my book of business. I really enjoy being able to create tasks, use playbooks, and easily modify resources to deliver communications at scale.

Moreover, I have been able to take advantage of proactive alerts and playbooks. These provide a form of surveillance I haven't been able to access before.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I wish it were possible to further customize my views, and save them vs having to use segments.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Mananging Book of Business at Scale
2. Monitoring account health
3. Collaborating with management and coworkers.

  ### 25. Easy to use for all personas

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst is easily customizable so that every persona can find the information they need. Individual layout views direct attention immediately to where we need it. The frequency of product releases match what customers need.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

The integration with Jira is not as seamless as we would have expected, particularly with syncing to the account.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is solving our renewal process for us. We heavily utilize playbooks to drive outreach at the appropriate cadence. We automate customer outreach outside of the renewal process as well, lowering risk by increasing engagement. We have seen better feature adoption from our customers and decreased churn in 2024.

  ### 26. Great for centralizing where teams work but lacks some reporting and visibility functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The layouts are easy to use and allow for quick edits based on changes to the biz, fields, etc. Our AMs and CSMs now work in 2-3 tools vs 4-5 which has improved efficiency and alignment.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Our AMs and CSMs often complain there is no visibilty into playbooks or the impact of playbooks on their customers. This is something they are supposedly working towards this year but in current form its a huge pain point that we hear weekly.

Lacks critical integrations to our other tools like Slack, Gong, etc.

Catalyst can be very buggy with one of issues with our instance that take a few days to resolve, impacting the day to day of the team.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing data and operations for post-sales team, ultimately reducing tool stack and costs associated.

  ### 27. Great product, team, and service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vilen G. | Enterprise Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

We have been using Catalyst for several months and have thoroughly enjoyed the product. But just as impressive as the product is (it's really impressive), their team is top notch. From their sales team, to their onboarding team (shoutout to Deanna), and their customer success team (shoutout to Mel).

When it comes to the product, the integration with salesforce was a breeze and the product was mostly intuitive, once you get familiar with it. Would highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Love it so far, but I would be great if Catalyst had an NPS feature.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us monitor, understand, and analyze the customer journey post sale.

  ### 28. Catalyst Powers Our CX Department

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst has been our go-to CRM for 3 years now. I have seen consistent product improvement and am thrilled at the level or service + self-serve capabilities I retain using the product. It is user friendly and easy to operate as a small team.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

During the merger with Totango I have noticed some increase data sync issues and lag time, however the support team is always helpful in researching and reporting these issues. Overall I am eager to see improved integration options.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst helps us retain, review and automate countless customer details & playbooks to consistently monitor revenue risk.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The graphs, quick visuals showing me account health

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Sometimes when I hover over a part of a graph on the left-hand side I can't see the numbers come up even when i minimise the page I can't see them. Other than this I am really enjoying Catalyst

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing my account health really quickly and easily!

  ### 30. Everything You Need in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

What I like most about Catalyst has to be the detailed analytics and reporting tools that provide valuable insights which helps my team drive better customer outcomes. The user interface is also intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I recall the initial setup and customization requiring a significant time investment but at the end of the day it's a short term investment of time for long term benefits.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking customer health has never been easier. Again, this requires some setup but once complete it provides great information to our team. We've seen increased retention rates across our team.

  ### 31. Eased Operations and Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaveesh F. | Manager of Customer Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Integration with other tools and platforms is seamless.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

While the interface is user-friendly, the array of features and capabilities might have a learning curve for new users.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst has been a valuable addition to our tech stack. It has significantly improved our operational efficiency and provided us with the insights needed to drive our business forward.

  ### 32. Sweet and Simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I like the interface for Catalyst. Creating layouts is very easy and intuitive. The customer support has also been helpful in issues we have faced with calculated fields.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Calculated fields in Catalyst are very simple. There is no easy way to format numbers in emails if you are sending them through a playbook. That has resulted in really confusing data being sent out in emails. I feel like the ability to round dynamic data fields should be an obvious feature to include, but Catalyst has not done it.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is helping us solve problems with internal visibility to the performance of our accounts.

  ### 33. Best UX that is intuitive while continuing to deliver value through product releases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Second time using implementing Catalyst and the team continues to provide the right amount of guidance and support to quickly get to value and enables the team to take ownership from day 1.

The integration platform is leading in the CS software space that reduces the need for system admins and empowers front line management to drive quicker value in playbooks and workflows.

At the end of the day, Catalyst listens to their customers and that is evident in how they address the common problems faced by CS leaders.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Can't think of anything outside of the normal hurdles of adopting software.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst provides a central tool for us to proactively manage our customer base while providing visbility across the organization to our risk.

  ### 34. CSM Tooling for Technical Operators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

Catalyst is getting me out of spreadsheets! Prior to catalyt customer health, progress, and success tracking was a terribly manual process. Now that we have Catalyst there are less opportunities for manual error. It is integrating with all of our tech-industry SaaS services, becoming a home base for my operations as a Technical Account Manager.

My favorite thing about Catalyst - it gives me more time in my day to become a more technical resource for my customers, company, and future professional self. It is rare that a new tool comes along that give me time and focus back, Catalyst is that rare gem.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Catalyst needs to support inline media (images, vid, gifs, pdfs, etc) in more areas throughout the product. That's about all of my nit's at this point. :D

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is solving the following problems;
-Manage my profolio of accounts
-Track customer health and customer value
-Ensure growth of ARR alongside operational excellence

Having Catalyst to help solve those problems allows me to become a stronger technical resource for my accounts! Catalyst affords me the gift of time to focus on delivering value to customers and not updating spreadsheets.

  ### 35. Good CSM tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

Also lacks integration with Jira Service Desk Support and Slack

  ### 36. One of the best saas platforms I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed by:** Eric R. | Customer Success Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

As a company, every representative that we've worked with has been top-tier. Response times are ridiculously fast, and we are continually made to feel like we are one of their most important customers. Employees are knowledgable and well trained.

As a product, Catalyst is extremely intuitive, easy to navigate, and gives us the flexibility to allow users to customize their view to best fit their workflow. Our Success Manager made our implementation easy and provided an immediate impact.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Initially, there were some product limitations that didn't allow us to configure plays they way we wanted/needed to track opportunities. TO THEIR CREDIT - our Success Manager (Kiko) immediately contacted key players, and scheduled meetings to discuss our needs and worked with our development team to find a solution.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Catalyst gave us the ability to effortlessly increase our cross, and upsell opportunities. The benefit has resulted in a 10% increase in our net retention over the last two quarters.

  ### 44. CX and Account Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

The highly customizable dashboards, journey automation, and plabooks enables our team to support our entire customer base regardless of size and complexity.

As with all CX platforms, the initial ramp time is only as fast as the resources allocated to configuring and setting up the product.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automates the engagement with our smaller customers through the life cycle of customer joruney. Enables clear line of sight to general customer health which was previously trapped across several disparate systems.

  ### 45. A tool to take CS to the next level!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

When looking for a tool on the market I evaluated several other leading vendors such as gainsight, churnzero, vitally etc and found that catalyst was not only the most powerful tool I tested but also the easiest to use with a team of experts ready to help!

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I wish the syncs were faster! Right now it takes about 45 mins to update data from sales force back to Catalyst which is rather long compared to our other vendors.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is serving as our one stop shop for data and automation in powering my team to ensure we are spending our time on the right clients! Leading vs lagging indicators!

  ### 46. Love the Catalyst Effect!

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

In the sales role it is very easy to pull reporting and data that matters. It allows me to see important data like high ARR customers, current quarter renewals, next 120 days, at risk customers etc. It was very easy to use with lots of great features!

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Lots of features but once you get the hang of it, very useful and easy to navigate.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to accurately see present and future renewals and upsell opportunities.

  ### 47. Great tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Being new to CS ops, I've found catalyst to be easy to use and the support team are always super helpful and quick to answer any questions

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

Can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming with so many fields and a bit busy in some spaces. Maybe that's just a result of needing more time spent on optimising it better for our needs

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Source of truth for managing our BoB and conversations and understanding and managing commercials

  ### 48. Great Platform for CS + Automations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I really like the flexibility that Catalyst provides to not only the rep but to with data.

I wish the automations and email motions could be triggered by other activities or could play well with other systems.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping ensure we have all the right data at the fingertips of our CSM team. It's also great to allow us to create robust automations that can be triggered manually, seasonally, or based on certain metrics.

  ### 49. Business Transforming Tool and Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalyn G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

1. We're able to change things quicky, which means getting insights on our entire customer base easier than ever.

2. The integration with other tools is better than other CS tools we've used in the past.

3. The pricing model makes it easy for me to drive more users from our company into Catalyst as opposed to pushing data to other systems and hoping for the best.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

There is some revenue forecasting functionality that I wish was better. As our CS team has become more revenue focused, we've bumped up against a few feature gaps that has us going back into Salesforce, which I very much wanted to avoid.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Tracking to value moments
2. Driving insights to the company. Driving changes to our customers.
3. Closing revenue gaps.

  ### 50. Catalyst provides an efficient snapshot of my book of business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Catalyst?**

I like that Catalyst provides an easy high-level snapshot that gives me a sense of how all my customers are doing at a high level. I can then drill down to specific customers in a targeted way to see deeper insights.

**What do you dislike about Catalyst?**

I would like to see our specific integration allow me to more easily jump to and from Salesforce and Adminka accounts while I'm doing research in Catalyst.

**What problems is Catalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catalyst is providing us with a customer health profile that we didn't have before.
