I have used TortoiseSVN as my default SVN client for several years. I am working on a project that is source in Mercurial and have found TortoiseHg to be a great tool for working with Mercurial. I enjoy the command line tool but the best use I have for TortoiseHg is the visualized branching and merging. It really helps prevent errors from branching Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few bugs I am suprised have not been resolved. One such bug is related to how the client side password is stored. Additionally the GUI while strong is not super intuitive. Furthermore, the GUI takes a lot longer to use than the command line tool. Additionally I have a problem with GUI's in general because programmers should learn to use command line tools.
