Toptal has a vetting process for clients which is great for a Freelance since you avoid bad client experiences. In my over 6 years of freelancing through Toptal, I only had one almost-bad client experience and Toptal had my back. With Toptal you can be 95% sure you are getting only good clients. The only thing I would like to be better is to get more longer-term projects (6+ months). I did get a few longer-term projects but mostly projects average to around 5 months in length.
