They don't have an app, and the ease of use is not good. Social connect is a scam. I tried getting solutions through customer service, but no one helped me resolve the issues. I'm forced to give up the CRM because I don't want to continue with social connect. I also feel that this company scams professionals out of money. They make promises and under deliver then refuse to make changes and try to force you to pay for something that they do not do. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything was funneled into one place in the CRM. There are other CRMs that do way more with better business practices. Do not give them your money. ### 2. When I requested to cancel the 6 months since they breaching the contract, Top Producer refused to cancel the contract. Simply be careful and do not use their lead system. The CRM is amazing. **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** Top Producer breached the contract regarding their lead system and TP would not cancel the contract for the leads even after knowing that I was a loyal customer for 33 years with their CRM. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** They have always solved my issues in the past except this time, I was lied to and they refused to take responsibility. ### 3. Mostly rentals or non-existent people who don't answer the phone. They say they are verified. Not so. When vulgar emails come through, I know this is not verified. The leads are poor. If you insist on leads, go with a cheaper company (closer to 1/2 price of TP) for the exact same product. You don't need the CRM if you already have one. They charge $179/mo for the CRM. A ridiculous price to pay for a cumbersome product. Stay away. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** They provide leads. The service is worth maybe 1/2 of what they charge. Buyer beware. ### 4. Maybe more drop down menus for more than one mobile number or an easier way to close out a transaction without making a ficticious number of a client you are not working with (I know that was being addressed) MLS#'s search that are outside of your board, because we have several in MI. **Recommendations to others considering Top Producer:** The CRM platform is an easy way to keep track of everything all in one place. No need to have other outlets. If you follow up daily, it becomes easier to keep track of the buyers, their needs, and once a sale or transaction is underway, you can keep track of that as well. There is a built-in task list you can utilize or customize your own. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** The insights are a fantastic way to keep track of the client's needs! I do not think that it is very useful when you are first starting and I think it is a giant waste of money. The biggest reason that I am disappointed is that they do not let you out of your contract, which you are locked in for $60/month for 12 months. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. TopProducer does not solve any of my problems and I would not recommend this to anyone that is starting out in Real Estate. Really wish that I would not have been talked into this software. ### 10. They listen to your suggestions for an even better experience and bring it to life! Their training is awesome too! **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** My MLS didn't fully integrate with TP so I had to cancel my Market Snapshot, as it wasn't doing what I wished for it to do. But the team at TP refunded me for my payment as requested, and I'm happy with that. I plan on checking in with that again at a later date. **Recommendations to others considering Top Producer:** I have been with other companies that offer CRM tools like this one, and Top Producer has met and exceeded every one. This company has one of the most robust customer service models of companies I've worked with, and I'm confident every day that if I need something from them, they're right there to help. It usually means I must learn to do something a different way. The fact that we can track a client from buyer/market eval to transaction to sale, including a running tally of commission and sale all in one program, is perfect! There is less chance of losing contact, notes, email connections to our cleints. **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** Still need tweaking with things such as direct export for mailings and it would be helpful if when pulling up a list of clients, to have an active count of the number of contacts displayed as well as telling me information such as 16 of 400 selected for when I have to apply contact types to a mass number of contacts or something to that effect. **Recommendations to others considering Top Producer:** Do it!!! And learn it inside and out and if you can't figure something out just chat online with them! The mobile app has never allowed us to: 1. schedule team appointments 2. modify team appointments 3. team members that did NOT schedule the team appointment can not change the team appoint for ALL members. It only changes their schedule and NOT the other team members. (i.e. my wife schedules a team appointment. I need to change it. It only changes my schedule and NOT hers and does NOT give me the option to change her schedule EVEN AS THE AGENT?!?!?!?! 4. Can not search by the secondary person on the iOS device. 5. Can not search by first or last name in market snapshots in X when you could in Top Producer 8i Teams are very common in real today. I have been submitting requests for changes for 5+ years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The time it's taken Top Producer to NOT get this program more functional is extremely frustrating, especially as we watch front row our competiton (i.e. Zillow, Redfin and others) get it right and acquire market share. QUIT MAKING EXCUSES, DEVOTE THE RESOURCES TO GET IT DONE! **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Top Producer Support says they are not making any more changes to Top Producer 8i. Since Top Producer, Beta X has come out, which seems like it has been a Beta program for years, I have to have to use two platforms because TPX has features that have not been brought over from TP8i and TPX has features that are advance from TP8i and the reason two platforms have to be used. I find it cumbersome, to say the least! When I ask about the finished Top Producer X, I get the following: Kaitlyn 11:32 We have no ETA on when the product will be finished. Currently, all new users are just using Top Producer X. Why would any company push out a format like this. From my representative inputting my credit card in correctly, to being unable to get through the initial setup screen and having to contact customer service multiple times while getting different answers, to finally being told the error was pretty common (yet no one being able to resolve the issue the first couple times). The lack of a free trial when all other CRMs provide this, and 72 hour window money back guarantee is not nearly long enough when you want to pick a CRM to stick with for the entirety of your career. Also was given a runaround when trying to cancel. The layout for Top Producer 8i, where you manage automated follow ups and email is quite lacking in its navigation/outdated. **Recommendations to others considering Top Producer:** Look into WiseAgent or Follow Up Boss instead. Five Stars for Kevin at Top Producer! He walked us through everything to get set up with the CRM and website. He went above and beyond in linking the IDX search from our current landing page to our new Top Producer website, saving us much time and energy. This was a big step in taking our business to the next level, and his knowledge and customer service eased our mind that we made the right decision. **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** It can be overwhelming to figure out on your own. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Consistent reach...lead generation. ### 25. Michele went above and beyond to guide us through features in TP 8i that allowed us to optimize our use. **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** TP X takes very long to load as we have too many contacts. For this reason, we have not been able to use Market Snapshot. **What problems is Top Producer solving and how is that benefiting you?** As we are a mega user, we have over 90,000 contacts in TP. Market Snapshot and TP X has not been working as well as we've liked. Most CRMs only track one or the other. The new X has a great look. The old 8 had great marketing email and mailing letter capabilities that could be timed based on need. **What do you dislike about Top Producer?** Clients that buy are linked to property as they should be. However, spouses and couples can either be on the same contact record or not. If they are, then only the first contact is filtered to contacts and emails. In other words, if your second contact calls you, it will say the first contact's name. If you separate the contacts, then they are not linked to the same record for use in the 8 ver for the printing of letters. Husbands and wives really should be linked all together with the ability somehow to see each of them individually on your phone and in your email. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING. TOP PRODUCER SAYS THEY WILL NOT FIX IT. One of the best parts of the system is print marketing; it looks like they will not move over to the new version. Sending email through TP 8i using exchange isn't as secure as it could be, which means a lot of the automated emails and messages will end up in spam for major providers like Google and Outlook. **Recommendations to others considering Top Producer:** If you've tried it in the past and haven't liked it because of the clunky look, they're doing a lot of things to bring TPX up to par with the other CRM's.
