After trying top task managers I found Toodledo the most complete and simple to use. I use it everyday, it's responsive even with hundreds of tasks. Toodledo is suitable for basic and advanced users, customizable and full of features. After five years I compared Toodledo with its main competitors and still found it the best in class. Good integration with other apps and enviroments. After five years I never lost any of my data, it's reliable and saves me time and worries. More than just tasks, it includes GTD features for checklist tracking, habit tracking, goal setting and monintoring, easy to use on multiple devices, and integrates with my calendar. And, the few times I've needed support they've been responsive. It's my daily task manager, and the only one I've stuck with over the years - and I've tried MANY. I'm always looking for tools that show a lot of information, making it easy to scan. Too many tools nowadays seem built for phones and tablets only, with a TON of white space - which on a desktop, is all wasted space. Toodledo has been around for a very long time and I have been a user and paying customer for a very long time as well. The application does a very good job for task management and offers a lost of options for the user to customize it to his own workflow and liking. The new owners are doing a very good job supporting the solution and making it evolve through time to remain competitive and relevant. It integrates well with many third party applications. It has a very flexible and robust set of folders, contexts, and even tags. Allows you to manage the different type of tasks across different projects. The recurring feature is also highly flexible allowing me to choose certain weekdays and even specific days of the week, or even after an arbitrary number of days. I really like how task lists are displayed both on the website and in the app, as well as the various features it offers, like contexts and folders, which allow you to adapt Toodledo to your needs.
