I find the navigation of Toggl Track confusing due to the use of multiple colours to classify clients and initiatives. This can make it difficult to distinguish between different projects, so I think it would be helpful if there was a clearer form of labelling, such as colour-coded bubbles or other visual indicators to quickly identify specific entries. I love how easy and straightforward Toggl Track is. All I have to do is enter the project name to start tracking and click stop when I'm done - no complicated setup or unnecessary bells & whistles! My favorite thing about Toggl Track is the app. It's got a great UI - simple to use and very clean look. When I tried to start implementing Toggl Track with my organization, I quickly realized that it only allows up to 5 users on the free plan. Beyond that, I believe you have to pay per user. Toggl Track's simplicity and flexibility were what won me over. There are many similar products on the market with a gazillion features. All I needed to do was track the time I spend with each client or client project, detect the window titles to remind me or automatically track time, and be unintrusive. I really like how intuitive and well thought out Toggl Track is to use. With the free version, I know my time will be accurately tracked without any problems, as long as everyone involved follows the instructions to use it consistently and accurately. Admittedly, the reports are more useful in the paid plans - they provide a much more complete breakdown of results such as money earned or saved from tracking hours worked versus projected cost estimates for each task/project timeline depending on its duration & associated expenses. Its reporting software makes it easy to separate the information that is tracked to get precisely what we want. If you want to track hours worked per project and per client, and you want to do it over the internet, on a computer or in an app, Toggl is the way to go. If you want a larger integration with accounting software, this will not be effective, however it is not possible to conceive of a situation where accounting software integration is more valuable than using it to enter initial data. Desktop utilization is the best timekeeping program known, however it does not have the same quality as the cellular and internet interfaces. Bringing in a CSV file with the clients I had and their desired projects each season reduces time management quite a bit. If this had been possible, I would have blended Toggl into our time management app. It is still possible for me to do so at this point, if it were up to me. I need to send a quarterly report to my general supervisor detailing how I use my time. I just exported the CSV file for the date in question and sent it in. Otherwise, it takes me an hour to prepare the diagnostic. One of the tools I like to use the most are Chrome extensions. I greatly like the editability of the periods, however, at times I end up with a scheduler to host the night. This happens the moment I incorporate an entry that I did not manage to find.
