What do you like best about Toggl Track?

The user-friendly interface makes setting up tasks and beginning monitoring quick and simple. It is straightforward and well-organized. With color-coding and pie charts, reports are entertaining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toggl Track?

What do you like best about Toggl Track?

I love how easy it is to create new clients and projects, as well as how easy it is to start and stop the timer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toggl Track?

The only thing I've found so far that I'd like to change is that, when starting the timer, I'd like to immediately be able to back the start time up to an earlier time (because I forgot to start it and have already been working for 30 minutes, for example). But at least I can add time after the timer stops running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Toggl Track?

My favourite feature of Toggl is the multiple combinations of time registry categorization allowed; you can combine a tag along with task name, clients, projects, descriptions. Highly customizable.

At the moment of reporting back the full-time consumption of a task, you can do it pretty tightly. Several tracked time entries can be part of different reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toggl Track?

What do you like best about Toggl Track?

Toggl has a very simple interface; it's easy to tag and categorize projects; the free version includes simple reporting but plenty for managing yourself or even a small team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toggl Track?

I have no complaints. I haven't had any issues or felt like the functionality was limited by the FREE version for my needs in the past (manage four hourly employees) or my one-man business right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Toggl Track:

You really can't go wrong. It's a simple time tracker which allows you to tag and categorize the time you spend on different projects and to pull segmented reports. I haven't felt the need to use any other time tracker because this does everything I need it to do and all within the FREE plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Toggl Track solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've used Toggl in the past to manage the timecards for payroll at a small business that had four hourly employees. I currently use it for my one-man business, as well as tracking my time working on projects on my personal time as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly it's hard to think of something....I just sat here staring at the box and couldn't come up with anything. I really really love Toggl. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Toggl Track solving and how is that benefiting you?

I understand how much time to bill my hourly clients for. i can break down the numbers however they like -- by week, by project, by year... all by clicking a few buttons.

For project-based work, I can track how much time it takes me and make sure I'm billing appropriately.

I can also see what my weekly hourly capacity is as a freelancer. I was also briefly tracking time spent on creative work/personal growth when I was trying to bump up those aspects of my life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Toggl Track?

Toggl is easy to set up, easy to use and the desktop app is super handy. I like the options available for setting up projects and tasks, and I like using tags to track the type of work I'm doing. The reports are really useful and insightful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure when you have a task that you would like to repeat in the future you name it the same thing each time. Toggl will help by offering you the name if you begin typing it in and if you have typed it in previously. I really like keeping my tasks well classified so I focus on keeping the same name for tasks and projects when I repeat them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
